first off wut really disappoints me is that sonic unleashed on the 360 is kick a** while owning only a wii it could be better

my biggest disappointment was the sonic riders games there are so many different moves it's not uncommon to hit the wrong button and the overall game play was pretty crappy

This is the rant thread I've been waiting for. Ahem...
1) Sonic Unleashed had a good enough story line, but the Werehog sucks! If it was a straight Sonic storyline, it'd be awesome. Adding in the freaking Werehog was just stupid. Imagine just Sonic and Chip the demi-god running around trying to restore the planet and the Chaos Emeralds. Instead, they added the Werehog, and that just makes the game stink.
2) Sonic and the Secret Rings was ok, but my main complaint is that it needed a play function like the Xbox. The Xbox 360 is the ultimate current Sonic system. The Wii doesn't work for much of anything with its play system.
3) I never played and don't want to play Sonic and the Black Knight. Shadow is the one that totes weapons. Sonic says in the Shadow the Hedgehog game, and I quote "I wouldn't be caught dead using one of those things." He was referring to guns and swords. Therefore, there's a continuity error. Also, in the Sonic the Hedgehog comics, Locke the Echidna (Knuckles' dad) says that "Sonic would never resort to using a weapon." This just brings up another continuity error.
4) Sonic Riders was a great game, but I felt that the story line was a bit short. While it was difficult to master, once you have a hang of the game, you can beat it with ease.
5) Sonic Adventure Battle 2 (which is my favorite Sonic game, btw) had a terrible two-player function. I adore the fighting, but I'd rather go for a speed test on how fast you and a partner can destroy a certain number of Egg-bots or government robots.
6) The same complaint as #5 goes for Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog.
7) Shadow the Hedgehog is my second favorite Sonic-related game, but it needs something else. In the game, you can use another controller for you and a friend to play at the same time. While the camera is always on Shadow, a friend can play as the other character in the background (except for Eggman's flying camera and Doom's Eye.) There should be a two-player co-op setting in which you (as Shadow) can travel split-screen with a partner (as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Vector, Espio, etc.)
That's all I have for now. I'm sure I'll find something else.
cool Sonic in Super Smash Bros. Brawl... awesome! Except for the fact that his left and right B power should be taken out and replaced with something like Fox, Falco, and Wolf's Dash or some sort of Chaos Control.

i really hate how in the very first 2 games u couldnt save ur spot in the game, sure the game was epic but once u lose its all over

To be honest, I've never played any Sonic video games after Sonic Adventure 2, only because I've never owned any video game consoles. But I've been told by many that I'm not really missing anything, and that the games have gone downhill ever since they left the Genesis.
In my opinion, Sonic 3 & Knuckles was the best Sonic game ever made, just like I think Super Mario World was the best Mario game ever made, but that's another story.
