A single thread in a tapestry
though its color brightly shines
can never see its purpose
in the pattern of the grand design

This is a song from the animated film "The Prince Of Egypt" produced by dreamworks.
I particularly like this song for the theme of the importance of the little things. It's amazingly inspiring to me personally.

I love this song and the movie which it is from. It just has so much meaning in one song exclaim exclaim and now i want to watch the movie thank you i have long forgotten this movie. ''blows dust of the movie cover''. biggrin

I must say, I'm a huge fan of that movie, as well, despite it not being entirely true to the Bible story. But who wants to show kids a starving, hundred-year-old Moses under Jethro's capture while Zipporah has to secretly feed him? XD
Very nice lyrics, though. One of my favorite songs in any animated film.
