Jessie scowled as the wind blew over her. It was cold, like the night.. like her heart. Sure, Meowth had just insisted on sleeping in a cave. She was just about to fall asleep when she heard a petite voice. "Jess?"

Jessie looked over her shoulder. A small figure sat hunched over, staring at his hands. Big, brown furry ears pricked out of his shaggy tawny hair. "Jessie, I tink something's wrong wit me." It said, looking up. Upon closer inspection, the figure had found large leaves to wear around his waist, and a furry tail poked out from his lower back. Jessie had a sudden realization.

"..Meowth?!" Jessie exclaimed. She looked around curiously. Where was James at a time like this?

"James! Tank Arceus yer here!" Meowth exclaimed, jumping up. "Ya gotta help me!"

Jessie shook her head. "James, I think this is Meowth.." She said, then reverted back to her normal self. "Both of you, don't just stand there being stupid!" She snapped. "If Meowth is a human, then all our other Pokemon are humans too! How are we gonna catch a human Pikachu?!"

"Jess, calm down! We gotsta figure out a way to reverse this!" Meowth tried to reason with the stressing woman.

Meowth shook his head. "Ya see, Jim, I don't know 'bout th' other Pokemon, but I can still use my techniques." He responded, holding out his hand and watching as his claws extended for Fury Swipes. "I thinks the only difference here are our bodies."

"Makes sense, Meowth." Jessie admitted. "But even if he can't use Thunderbolt, the twerps won't leave him alone. It'll be even harder to do!"

At that point, Jessie's stomach growled. "Yeah, I know what you mean.." She responded.

Meowth stretched. "In the mornin', we should go find da twerps." He said, his tail swishing. "They might know betta than we do."

"Definately." Jessie responded. "So, this is our last rice ball.." Jessie said, splitting it up evenly. "We'll have to get disguises again to get more food."

Meowth reached for his piece. "Sure ting, Jess."

Jessie nodded. "We'll act like food critics!" She announced, her eyes glinting. "That way, we're sure to get free food!"

"Good idea!" Meowth said, praising Jessie's idea. "I'll get some fish!"

"And I'll get a steak!" Jessie added.

"And then, after we're full, we'll impress them with our ratings!" Jessie concluded. "This will be great!"

"Meowth is ready for some good food!" Meowth chimed in.

"How are we gonna manage that?" Meowth asked, frowning. "Hey, James, gimme a pair of shorts or something."

Jessie sighed. "This will be harder than I thought!"
