I hate Bug Catcher Ed! i can't win the Bug catching contest but he always wins! How do i beat him?? or get rid of him.... twisted

Get a Shiny Pokemon, or the pokemon of its kind that is of the highest level possible in the game...you can find level-18 Weedle if you look long enough. If you want a Pinsir or a Scyther, you want the level-14 ones, not the level-13 ones. I've also won with level-15 Butterfree or Beedrill.

Ed: i put pokemon to sleep with paras spore
::Continues beating:: THATS WHAT YOU ALWAYS SAY!! I PUT THEM TO SLEEP AND I REDUCE THE POKEMON"S HP AND I STILL DON"T ::lightbulb turns on eek :: put them to sleep but don't reduce their HP! OF COURSE! rofl ::looks at the lifeless body of Bug Catcher Ed xp :: stare hmmm.... MUK SWALLOW! ::throws ball and Muk comes out and swallows Ed's body:: Good return! ::muk returns to its pokeball:: yeah i got my sun stone biggrin

After you get all the badges the bug catching contests have far stronger bugs....around level 36, just so you are warned.
