I like most types of music. There is no real favorite that I have but the ones I don't like are Heavy metal, robotic techno, and various rap. While we are on the subject of music. Does anyone here play an instrument? I play ocarina.

Have you ever played The Legend of Zelda? An ocarina is the instrument that the main hero plays. It's a small handheld wind instrument that can have anywhere from 4 to 12 holes.

Thank you. It's not a popular instrument but it's the only one I know how to play well. My brother plays the guitar as well so I think that that's cool too.

I like Flyleaf! Though, I haven't heard their new stuff yet. My favorite song is 'Sorrow'. That's not my fave band however. My fave in the entire world is Linkin Park. I love, love, LOVE THEM!! I also love Evanescence and Alicia Keys. Yet, currently, I'm suffering an Adam Lambert pandemic. I'm not sure why I was the last one on the train, but better to be last than never on board. I love his new CD. I can't stop playing 'Sleepwalker'.

I haven't had the heart to give Adam Lambert's music a chance... I just plain don't like the guy...
And indeed, Sorrow= Best song on first album.

For some reason my favorite band has been Three Doors Down lately. I'm not sure because I've always liked them it's just all of the sudden I really like theur music. As for instruments I can play the flute and I'm working on guitar, but I haven't really had time for it...of course I guess I technically have time right now but I'd wake everyone up.

Call it sad but my family owns a lot of instruments and sadly no one besides me knows how to play one. We have a Flute, Clarinet, Harmonica, Auto-Harp, Recorder, 2 ukulele's, an acoustic guitar, a taiko drum, a piano, and 12 ocarinas. I only know how to play the ocarinas. The rest are a mystery to me. As for a favorite band...hmm...I do like Linkin Park, Green Day, All-American Rejects, Yellowcard, Taylor Swift, and a bunch of J-pop artist who I forget the names of.

I play some piano, though I haven't been practicing lately. And I'd love to play the cello one day.
Lately, I've been downloading a lot of free music (LEGALLY wink ) from artists I don't know too. Even really weird songs like "Liar" by Emilie Autumn and "Burn Less Brighter" by Bomb The Bass are becoming favorites in my book. I love "The Rose" by Revere, it is one of the best so far. Plus, the fact that I can listen to most anything makes expanding my library much easier this way. Even international albums find their way into my download queue. I'm discovering a plathora of new artists which I'll most likely buy from in the future. But that is the point of their giving it away, isn't it? Anyways, I've also discovered something strange about myself. Even though I hate country music, I love folk music confused . Apparently there's a difference eek .

I play piano, guitar, both kinds of bass, cello, violin, and drums. To make up for it, I can't play sports. Yeah.
My favorite band is Modest Mouse.
