For the sake of this prompt let's say you and the character you've choosen are pretty good friends, now with that in mind submit a conversation that you might have with that character that shows alot of the character's personality.

Um, I'm trying for the part of Shadow. This is one of the few of these things I understand so I'm going to try this. If I completly screwed up what I'm supposed to do for this, I'll rewrite it.
To note-You said they were friends, right? So I tried my best to capture that while being in a setting. I'm one of those people who likes things in a setting and let them play out when it's only me doing everything, but if this isn't what you were meaning for this to be like I'll do it over, no problems there.
I tried to show how his mind is always troubled, even if he was in a friendship, and how his past is always seeming to eat him alive. Umm...

A soft calm breeze blew through the air, blowing Canina's hair a little in her face, blinding her for only a momment as she moved her hair back behind her ears. With her hair removed she saw a black hedgehog not far away, her friend Shadow? She questioned and smiled as she saw the red strips on his spines. It had to be! Staring at him, something seemed on his mind. He seemed somewhat... distant from the world around him.
Slowly walking through part of the park, Canina moved closer to him, suddenly just taking his hand, she started to walk with him to a park bench. "Shadow..?" She asked as they went. "What's on your mind?"
The black hedgehog slowly looked up at Canina as she pratically dragged him along. "I just can't get those memories out of my head.."
"You mean... of her?" She asked him. "You need to stop thinking about her all the time... It always gets you in such a stressful mood, it isn't good to be like that all the time!" She told him as they slowly sat down on the bench.
"I know, you always tell me that same thing." Shadow replied as his eyes slowly looked up at some of the flowers in the park. "It's just... like her memory is haunting me... She did risk herself just to save me. I thought I was supposed to be doing that for her."
"Shadow..." Canina put a hand softly on his shoulder. "Think about it. She saved you, that means she cares about you, which also means she wouldn't want you stressing over her death almost every waking minute of your life."
"That is true." He responded with half closed eyes.
"Think about other things." She continued. "You're always coming to the park, so think about the flowers, or the trees, the smell of being surounded in nature. Try to accept your past and step in to the hear-and-now. That's what you really need to do."
Shadow slowly turned his head to Canina. "I try to, but accepting her death.. her murder.. is a lot harder to do than you think..."
"I've lost plenty of people I cared for, it's hard I know, but you're the strong one here, not me. You can do it. It's either that or I try to set you up with a girlfriend... If that don't work, I can always just make you have some quality time with Amy." She said with a giggle.
Shadow shook his head a very soft chuckle escaped his lips. "Alright, alright.." He turned his head away. "I'll try to accept it."
"Good boy." Canina said sitting up. "Soo... why don't we go for a little run to the ice cream shop?"
"Ice cream..?"
"Yeah ice cream, you need to cool off and I need something sweet to eat." She poked his nose. "Now come on." She then said as she ran off.
Shadow closed his eyes, almost like an angry or a very annoyed glare as she poked his nose. "Get back here..!" He yelled, running after her, but to be fair, he didn't use his super speed.
