Kendra lounged on her bed looking at the notebook she had found earlier that day. Her parents weren't there right at that moment. She looked over the black notebook she had already read all of the 'rules' She smiled then grabbed her pencil and opened the notebook. She stuck the eraser end in her mouth and chewed on it thoughtfully. Her most hated teacher Mrs. Dale her first 'victim' she rolled her eyes.

On her way to lunch break she didnt look both ways (oh the irony) and a speeding truck hit her and didnt notice so the body was found miles and miles away from the scene~~~~

Kendra laughed as if she would have that kind of luck.

Kendra found out the next afternoon during school that the notebook wasn't lying she even got to witness the mayhem. Kendra got home that day and grabbed the notebook off the shelf in a hurry. "Holy s**t" She said "Heh heh surprised?" Kendra look at the shinigami hanging from her ceiling. Kendra sat there a moment "Not the word I would use" Kendra said finding her voice again. "So like is there any specific reason for this thing oh is it fair game?" She asked "Heh nope the only rules are written in the notebook. The rest is up to you." He said Kendra nodded "So fair game hm" Kendra sat on her bed and grabbed her pencil and began chewing on the eraser end. "You know this is kinda interesting I never had a use for this thing." Kendra said "But it seems like it would come in handy" Kendra then wrote down the name of a kid she hated:

Kendra then sat there still chewing on her eraser. Her principle was an a** too.

Kendra smiled "This is kinda fun." She said "Heh I could say the same thing." The Shinigami said "Ohh right do you have a name?" Kendra asked 'If not can I call you Snarky?" The shinigami looked at Kendra who was smiling away "My names Katsuo.. ." He said unsure of her sanity right then.

Kendra sat that night and put the Death note on the highest shelf with her other notebooks. Then grabbed another notebook "I'll use this as a kill list. That way I dont have to rack my brain for people every night." Kendra said before her parents called her down for supper

Kendra sat in her room doing homework. "So you going to use the death note again tonight?" Katsuo asked hovering next to her. "nah I have homework. Maybe tomarrow." Kendra replied chewing on the end of her eraser. "Uh so your not going to do anything with it?" Katsuo asked "No why? Did you need it back?" She asked "I dont want to over do it then it wont be fun and will just be more work."

Kendra woke up the next morning with Katsuo hanging over her head. Which scared her so bad she fell out of the bed. "Holy hell Katsuo please dont do that!" She yelled knowing her parents were already at work. "A shinigami has no need for sleep so what do you want me to do then hm?" He said "I dont know go stalk some insomniac or something." Kendra said getting up "Dont hover over me when I sleep."

Kendra Got ready for school and put the death note on her shelf and grabbed her kill list. She grabbed her iPod and listened to music on the walk to school. She had her notebook under her arm and her pencil in her pocket

Kendra sat in her class practically falling asleep in her math class. Her teacher was boring as hell. So far in her fake notebook she had written down three names for her to get creative with later in the real death note.

There was an assembly today to mourn (or not) for the teacher and principle. Not that Kendra felt bad she leaned against her friend and napped
