So...who's thrifty/quirky?
I've tried some different things, and am about to recycle my first sweater. er, sweaters. But I got two of them for six dollars, and they're really pretty yarn, so I think its all cool. It was going to help our student aide- scholarship program.
I've also made chopstick DPNs, and am trying out plarn. Plastic yarn, from plastic bags and leis. Its intense!

I love plarn and recycling sweaters! They're both so much fun to play with.

Chopstick DPNs is a rad idea! I'd SO use some if I could stand touching/using wooden chopsticks... (I have a weird sensory ocd something or other.. =D) I'm also wanting to maybe make some plarn, but I'm hoarding all the plastic bags we have around to stuff the mannequins/body forms I made ^_^

Chopsticks are also good for holding knitted shawls closed. 3nodding
