In the beginning there were two beings, one of the sun and one of the moon. Their names were Sol and Mani. The two had been given the duty of protecting the world and worked with one another in perfect balance.
However the two beings new that they would not last forever, for although they were powerful they weren't completely immortal and just like the suns and moons of today they would eventually meet their end. So the two agreed to make others in their image, these became the wolves of the elements. Each being made two of their own types, Sol made her wolves to be under the alignments of either fire or air. While Mani made his under the alignments of either water or earth.
Sol and Mani watched over their new creations and insured the peace of the world they guarded. They made sure their beings were becoming stronger and preparing them to take their place when they moved on. Eventually the time did come for the two beings to move on. However their plan didn't go according to plan. Being from two completely different beings fire and air and then water and earth they didn't actually see eye to eye. Each side wanted to take control of the world themselves and didn't want to give it to the other. Thankfully the two beings weren't foolish; they thought this might happen so they set up a system. Even though the two sides wish to break out into war they are unable to. And it has to do with the balance the two beings set up.

Water can't beat air
Air can't be earth
Earth can't beat fire
No matter how much each side hates one another they cannot defeat one another. This leaves the world in tension though and thus brings us to the matter at hand. Many years have passed since the beginning of this tension and with such a long amount of stress and tension upon the world both sides have decided to work for peace. However there are a few rebels on both sides who do not want peace unless it means victory, not compromise. Which leads me to ask this, which side do you choose?
