So, my son has a heart disease/defect.
It's called a Double Inlet Left Ventricle.
He also has a bunch of other defects but they're not quite important.
Anywho.
He had heart surgery January 20th (he was 16 days old) and he is now 2 1/2 months old.
Since he was born he's been projectile vomiting to the point he starts drowning in it since it comes out both his nose and mouth.
I've tried everything. The doctors haven't ran ANY tests and tomorrow at his appt I'm DEMANDING they do something. Seriously I'm gonna snap if they don't. It's been 2 months and they just keep 'hoping' it will go away.
He's 2 months, almost 3 and he only weighs 7 friggin pounds!

Poor baby, and stupid, stupid doctors! They should be doing everything they can to help your little one. Are you using formula? If so have you tried gentle ease? Also, make the house smell like vanilla. It's soothing and helps settle the stomach. Also, get some saline wipes (there's a great brand I use called Boogie Wipes) and use it to clean up his face after he throws up. The saline makes it gentle on his skin but also helps clear up his nose of anything that's blocking it so he can breathe. Keep us updated on how the appointment goes!

Hello Pink ^_^

Glad you joined my guild = D I'm pretty updated by you on whats happening with little Jeff since we FB alot (I'm Ashlie M). I'm Sorry to hear your still having vomittting issues with him ;_; Don't worry I'm sure it'll get better! Maybe once hes old enough to crawl/travel he can go outside and have some freash air to clear him out. Do you live in the country or city? Country air is so good for the illing soul <3. In any case Kitty had alot of good ideas for you and I would be more then happy to send updates for you through the Announcement system if you like. Also I could use some Modding help and since I know you pretty good wanna send me a PM to try out?

Yay for a sub-forum for disabilities! <3

Yes, were using formula (he's allergic and cannot digest breast milke *sad face*) we've tried everything. Right now, he is on a severely digested cow milk protein allergy formula. It costs $130 per can and LUCKILY it's covered no improvement.

However, they told me yesterday that Jeffreys liver is slightly enlarged and they're not sure whats causing that, and if that may be the cause of the vomiting. They upped his one medication in hopes of fixing it.
