Oh, anyways.. I'm not sure who I should cosplay. It's between Japan, Lithuania, and Kanda (from D.Gray-Man). If I cosplayed Lithuania, I wouldn't need a wig. Other than that, I'd need to buy a wig and uniform for the other two. xP But I still want to cosplay them all... I act most like Japan and I've been wanting to cosplay Kanda for the longest. D; Who do you think I should cosplay?

So you look like Lithuania, act like Japan, and really want to cosplay Kanda? wow, indecisive much? haha, that's fine, I'll do my best in trying to help you.
and I'll try not to make this too biased. Kanda is my fav D. Gray-man character and I love all the Hetalia characters. <3
> If you're going to a convention (in which I'm guessing you are), then have you checked to see if there were any Hetalia or D. Gray-man gatherings, groups, or panels in the future? This could help you decide what you want to be, if you're looking to meet new people with common interests.
> If it's popularity and photos you're looking for, then I suggest you do one of the Hetalia characters, because Hetalia is currently the more popular of the two fandoms.
> If it's money you're worried about, then do Lithuania's cosplay. You won't need to buy a wig that way, and if you look around the Internet enough, you'll find a Liet costume for a decent price.
> If you do really do act like Japan, then I think it would be awesome if you cosplayed him. Being in character is one of the most important things besides appearance. (i.e. If someone wants to cosplay France, then they can't be shy or socially awkward by nature, unless, of course, they're somehow a really good actor. xP)

With all this in mind, I believe Japan would be the best choice.
To save money, you can be Lithuania.
If you really want to cosplay Kanda that badly, then you can go ahead and choose him.
If there's another time after this when you want to cosplay at an event, I suggest you go with Kanda. If you're tight on money, Lithuania, and so on and so forth...

Awesome help! XD Thank you thank you thank you!!~ heart So, I guess I'll be cosplaying Japan first!~ Come to think of it, I've never cosplayed using a wig. Actually, the only other good cosplay I've ever attempted was Alphonse Elric. Only with shorter hair. ._.;
But now I'm off to look for a wig and uniform~ Thanks again! mrgreen

Alright guys. I am permanently cosplaying Lithuania because I look/act just like him (think of me as Fem!Toris in the flesh).
But I have a slight problem:
No one ever notices me at cons unless I'm standing with the other Hetalia cosplayers! I think this is due largely to the fact that I don't have the military uniform.
So, does anyone know any stores that sell the right kind of boots/uniforms?
I'd like to get the uniform off of eBay and buy the boots elsewhere (all the only costumes I've ever seen don't come with the boots), but my parents won't let me spend that much money online (about $50 for the costume and $40 shipping).
Help?

Liet, i suggest CosplayFU.com. I recently bought my China uniform from them. It was the cheapest yet best quality you'll find on the internet, plus it has free standard shipping.
A few suggestions if you if you buy from them. First get bigger than you think you'll need, the costume size small. Normaly i get a medium but i had to buy XL for it to fit. Second order way longer in advance than you think you'll have to: sometimes the costume needs to be taylored to fit your size and that takes a long time.
They also have a pretty good selection on boots. i don't know if they have Liet boots, but it's worth a look. I hope this helps.

I have boy-short hair, so I could cosplay a lot of the characters, like both Italy's, Korea, and Austria. But I don't know which to cosplay.
I reeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaally like cosplaying Romano, because I look a lot like him, but I act more like a hyperactive idiot, or Korea.
And then there's Austria, who I act like whenever I'm extremely mad or tired.
And Feliciano? Back to the hyper annoying idiot.
Any suggestions?

I'm related to an excellent seamstress, and I'm not so bad myself, so it wouldn't be too hard, as long as we had pattern we could alter a bit to look like the actual costume. 3. Not really.... the only one I can think of is Anime Weekend Atlanta, which is in September. ^^; 4. Quite a bit, actually. Definitely willing to point and yell, "VITAL REGIONS!!!! >;D" Or freak out and run from a Turkey cosplayer. 5. ........Not be happy. I cannot STAND supressing my inner insanity. D: 6. A very happy one, easily. A responsible one too, although I rarely do. ^^;;

His costume is easy, you may need to get a wig, his korean spirit can be added with a pipe cleaner to the wig, and he'll give you an excuse to be hyperactive.
