My Grandpa was a grippy old man, he wasnt one to change very easily, he loved me and my grandma out of our family the most. Even thought he was not my related grandpa I had a deep connection with him. He loved to talk with me, show me how to work things, fix other things, and he was always there if I needed to have a guy chat. Wether he listened the whole time or only half of it was another thing. Me and him would sit around the kitchen table and play poker, with his sexy lady cards, and he would show me a new game each time we played. During the past 2 or 3 years when he was getting older and unable to do as much he had to show me how to do it so he did not have to. And during those summers is when we actually started to have a relationship between us. And now looking back on it all it seems that he knew soon he was gona die so he was preparing me to take care of the place, and my grandma. And then these past 3 weeks he had been in the nursing home thanks to complications with his legs, but he had a fall and was sent to the hospital monday, well tuesday after noon we got a call saying he might not make it through the night, so I went out by my self and told him goodbye and that I loved him and I would take care of the place. By some miracle he made it till 8:15 Saturday morning. But I only have a regrate is that I said my goodbye to early because after that day I didnt go out and see him cause in a way to me he was already dead, and I just couldnt stand to see him in a suffering pain anymore. He was a good man at heart, he might have been gripy and grouchy latter on in his years but I knew he ment nothing by it. But just like my grandma he dosent want anyone to know his age, but his reason was " If the ladys dont know your an old fart a** just by looking at you then you can say any age and have a pretty girl on your arm James." Little did he know I am bi. And I thank you all for being here and helping me with his deaf, He loved to meet my friends and I know he would have loved to meet you all, and I know right now he is looking down towards you all and saying " Thank you Devoncroix for being there for my grandson."
