(( Warning: Passing mention of someone getting eaten, that is all ))

It was somewhat amusing the way that they ran from him, scurrying in all directions like scared little mice... it made him happy, brought him back to the old days when his kind were worshiped as the great being that they were. Were he in need of a meal it wouldn't be to hard even for one as slow moving as his to snatch one up and devour it. At the moment though he was sated and looking for something, someone in particular. He'd heard from an acquaintance that he'd met when he'd stumbled into a spider's web recently that the place offered of free room and board, delicious food, and he didn't even have to do anything other then let them do their silly experiments. The idea that the humans were going to use his blood, his cells, to make children... it was an interesting notion, he'd never considered children, not for a long time since his kind had become more and more rare. The rarity of his kind as well as their dislike for long travel made them basically cause themselves to go extinct but in this way his kind would be able to carry on in a sense.

Though truth be told not having to go out hunting, to make the humans bring him his food, to take care of him, to do all the things they used to do... well that was what made this trip worth it more so then the possible children. He'd of course had to cheat a little, after all a demon had been in the way of his attaining what he wanted... someone who already had the spot that he'd coveted since he'd learned of its existence. It hadn't be to hard, there was not only a great size difference between them but also the fact that the creature hadn't even fought back... hells, it hadn't even woke up. He was a touch different in that he didn't sleep all the time, he just felt no need to move around. To make him happy he just need a meal once a month and a lot of sun, having people to wait on him and and foot was a nice touch as well.

He reached a three fingered hand out to grab hold of a human that had fallen down in front of him, seeming to have tripped over nothing but if he were to guess he'd say it was those insanely high heels that didn't seem as though they fit in this sort of work place. He lifted her up and off of her feet, letting her dangle above the ground, "I am looking for one that is called Vampy, I was told he is the Master of this place. Where is he?" He demanded, giving her a long stare as well as a shake as though to make his point.

That it terrified her so much seemed to show how well his point was made, made her stare at him as though she were going to pass out at any moment, "H-His... he is... in his office..." She said, barely able to get the words out and then she got tossed aside like so much refuse. His office, he merely needed to find this office and his part in this play would be secured. He continued along, tongue flicking out on occasion to take in the scents of the place. He wasn't sure which direction he should be going in at first but a sign was helpful enough to tell him which way he was to be going to find this 'Vampy'. The farther along he went the less people he saw, it was as though the Master of this place were able to ward off the humans completely from himself and such a skill truly did impress the demon.

It also amused him as the man seemed to have no idea that he was coming, that would likely be due to the fact that, unlike most of his brethren of demonic creatures, he had absolutely no aura that gave him away. His kind had learned long ago that if someone sense a dangerous being approaching that they would be ready for it, would kill it without question. They had trained themselves to hide their aura and then generations of this led to them having no aura at all, it was best for convincing the humans to take them in as Gods and take care of them. They were a smart group of creatures but time had weighed heavily upon them, making the humans move on without them, but they hadn't been able to do the same.

Vampy was sitting in his office tapping his finger idly on the wooden desk top as he was fairly agitated, the sudden disappearance of a particular demon had him on edge. Mostly because it was sloth...and that demon never seemed to move to have him just...POOF was enough for Vampy to send out a search party of technicians, who no doubt would be useless in the endeavor and would probably resort to him having to do the work himself.

Taking a deep breath the man growled lowly to himself as he swiveled his chair around so he was facing the window. Completely unaware of the fact a demon was standing outside of his door.

He paused in front of the door as he looked up at it, he flicked out his tongue again and found that he could taste cinnamon in the air. It was a nice sort of flavor that made him think it was to bad he'd already eaten or he would steal and eat whatever had that flavor as his monthly meal. Maybe next time he thought as he shoved the door open and slipped partly inside, looking at the one that he assumed was in charge, "Hello, Vampy... I am called Coatl. I am here to take over as your new sloth demon... don't bother looking for the other one, you will never find him."

Vampy didn't show signs of being alarmed though the scent did intensify, the man turned his gold eyes observing the other demons quickly. As if analyzing him and figuring out the type , breed as well lineage. Vampy himself appeared to look human, besides the fact his hair was stalk white and his eyes gold. He too could mask his aura though there was always a smidgen of it around.

"Hmmm...is that so?" He murmured turning his chair to face the other demon the tips of his fingers pressed together lightly as he continued to observe the demon. He noticed the bulge in the stomach and gestured a bit towards Coatl.

"I don't suppose I need to really look far would I?" He stated sounding fairly intrigued by the fact this demon had decided to volunteer to take up residence here.

Coatl flicked his tongue out before he slithered forward toward the white haired man, closing the door after himself so that they could speak in private... not that he was terribly worried since there wasn't a single human that had tried to follow him to this place. The fluffy end of the creatures tail flicked from side to side much in the way of a rattle snake though it made more of a swishing sound then anything else, "It is so." He said, shifting his coils so that he could lean against them. He hated so much moving, all he wanted to do was laze about in the sun and just... do nothing.

Vampy continued to look the other over before he gave a bit of a smirk, "Well...though you are a fine specimen I have to wonder if you can abide to the rules of our fair establishment." He murmured after a moment before he looked over to his bookshelves and then nodded his head slightly.
"Given you ate the previous demon...of course the first rule is you are to not eat anyone else who works here or lives here..you understand? There is sever punishment if you do.."

"So long as there is food provided when I need it which is only once a month." He said with a bit of a smile as this first rule of sorts was laid out before him, "I much prefer the service of humans to the taste of it, they are to bland." He doubted a human would wish to know about the taste of his own though, would he? He flicked his tongue out at Vampy once more, pulling in his scent. He was certain that it was this one that smelled of cinnamon, some sort of cologne he wondered idly.

Vampy only nodded his head idly as if he agreed with him on the human's being bland part.

"Well then...we will have to do something about the fact I cannot sense you..." he stated as he stood up pulling a pen out from him breast pocket. "Of course you would understand wouldn't you? I like keeping tabs on all my little pet projects...and not being able to sense you would be a great pain." He stated as the golden pen seemed to flicker in the light. "don't worry...it won't hurt...more like costume jewelry to you I am sure."

"This is so you can sense me? What of the others? What of the humans?" He sounded as though the idea that others might sense him or what he truly was bothered him greatly. To long had his kind hidden their true selves away, so the idea that suddenly he would be able to be sense, to be tracked, it wasn't something he liked much.

Vampy gave a near burst of laughter at the sheer thought any of the humans be able to sense the demon. "Oh...I doubt you have little to worry about with them. A useless bunch the deal of them. The only one you could possible worry about is the warlock, but even then...this would specifically be made for me to sense."

Coatl relaxed once more and gave a little nod of his head, pleased with this, "I understand. I would be find by this jewelry of sorts then." He told the man, gave a smile, wanting to see what jewelry the man was going to be handing over to him to track him with. He was partial to offerings after his time with the humans that had once served him, that this man wanted to give him something after so long without a gift made the long trip here that much more worth his while.

Vampy smiled as the pen in his hand shimmered and then he lifted it into the air before him tracing the design which seemed to stick into the air after each pen stroke it glowed a profusely a deep purple before it appeared before him a golden choker of sorts with a blood red stone i the center. It floated in the air before he made a gesture for it to go towards the sloth demon.

"There...now as to where you are to stay..."

The snake like being reached a hand up, stroking the collar in obvious delight, eyes closing for a moment as he inspected the item then smiled, "I merely need a spot in the sun to be happy." He said when where he was going to stay was mentioned.

Vampy nodded his head giving a chortling laugh before he went to sit back down.

"Perhaps I should enlighten you to a few things...whilst you are in my establishment you cannot leave. You are bound here, I will know if you leave the instant you leave my boundaries, as well what keeps you in here also keeps you safe from other demons and angels. " he explained the smirk on his face as he watched the snake creature. He was mostly surprised by the fact that the demon didn't seemed to realize that no mere human could possible fashion a facility quite like this on normal terms.

"He told me about this place, in detail. Told me of the good, free food and that you give out room and board to demons and angels so that you can create young from them. I traveled a long distance over many weeks to get here. If you tell me that once I take over as your new demon that I don't have to leave... I rather like the idea. I want only to lazy in the sun, to be fed, and to not have to worry about being attacked by those that stumble across me." He closed his eyes for a moment and seemed almost for a moment to be trying not to nod off. He'd gone to far today perhaps but he'd been so close, had decided to make the last bit of distance in one leg instead of two, and was exhausted. Not to mention he was very full and all he wanted to do was sleep for a bit, "Do you have a nice spot in the sun that I will be able to stay in, Master Vampy?"

Vampy only smirked and then shook his head, "No...but I am sure I can arrange it easily enough." He stated rather firmly as he took his pen again and waved it in the air apparently somewhere a room was forming so that it contained a rather large greenhouse sort of place.

"Now...if you would put that necklace on..I could teleport you to your new quarters.." Vampy breathed sounding rather eager to get on with this.

He nodded, paying in his petting of the pretty item so that he could put it on, "Teleport, huh? That makes it a lot easier now doesn't it? If only you had been able to bring me from the last place I was at, I'd of been weeks earlier." He gave a chuckle, there wasn't anyway that he could have known that Coatl wanted to come here though other then perhaps Reshmi telling Vampy so but the spider said he was to busy with hunting to make such a trip.

Once satisfied with the other putting on the necklace Vampy did a simple teleportion spell. He didn't need a circle...and very few runes. It wasn't far..he didn't need to worry about parts of the snake being missing upon arrival.

"Welcome to Seven of Sevens.." he chuckled as he sent the new sloth on his way.
