I've been reading a lot of posts here... and some of them contain the words 'Twilight is Gay'.

This offends me.

I'm gay.

(technically, I'm a lesbian transsexual. I'm a woman, I'm into women, and inside I feel I should be a man)

Yes, I know, some gays are very annoying. Yes, I know, it's easy to make jokes on their expense.

It's also the fastest way to find the idiot in the room. I've never known an intelligent person to make a stupid joke about gays, unless that person was a) religious or b) gay himself and therefore allowed to do it.

Twilight isn't 'gay'. I know a lot of gay people, and among them only one has seen Twilight - and she didn't like it. Don't use Twilight hatred to fuel your homophobia.

Not all gay men are sparkly fairies... some are big biker dudes with ugly moustaches. Unless you're tough enough to make fun of a bar full of them to their face, better not make a habit of gay jokes. And most gay men don't look gay at all. They're just like everyone else. They may even have families.

The sparkly fairies are the ones that get noticed. Hardly anyone talks about the other types of gays.

And lesbians... people don't like to think about us at all. We're a minority inside a minority. We're frightening.

It would be wrong to call myself Bisexual, but I wish I could. but there are just no guys that I have though about. Just women, it is unfortunate.

well, Maybe Johnny Depp, lol. but I dont have any wierd thoughts, I just think he is awesome. hmm, sometimes I wouldnt mind a hug from a guy, but nothing sexual. I think that sparkly fairies are gay though, dont mind me saying. because come on! sparkly dudes? thats different.

I gotta stop Rambling. Anyway, GOOD FOR YOU! I have nothing against gays. lol, IM CANADIAN! not a racist/sexist/homophobic bone in me. calling things gay is just etched into my mind because I heard it EVERYWHERE growing up. I only have one gay friend. I like her too, kinda sucks.

Whoever hates gays/bis/trans/pans are idiots. I have alot of gay friends and they are no different than me at all. I myself believe myself to be either bisexual or pansexual, although I'm not really sure. I believe gays have a place in our society. I just wish people would stop looking down on groups and stereotype all of them for the actions of one person, which extends to gays, Muslims, goths, etc. There are good people that belong to those groups that do not do what the media says they do.
