I love Spike! He is the best character in my opinion because unlike a few others he goes through so many changes. Not only does his personality unfold but his compassion and his processing in general evolve from season two until seven and on into Angel season five.

i think u just covered the major draw for most, if not all, Spike fans! ish why i luv him. it's the varied and crazy personality, plus his wit and his consternation at his love/hate relationship with anyone he interacts with. he's awesome! i also think that he and buffy compliment each other nicely...its a weird combo.

Not only does his personality unfold but his compassion and his processing in general evolve from season two until seven and on into Angel season five. hell yeah all the way! he also is so amazing that the fact he went and got his soul instead was cursed with it! he was also awsome cause went mad from getting it for a little big and then became a big hero all in one season!

I love Spike!!!! The reason I like him so much because of his sick sense humour. The best times were when he tried to get Buffy's attention or try to be a gentlemen in for her cuz it just looked odd....but oh so charming!!!! He was also great in Angel in Season 5. At the beginning when he was first introduced, I was like "OH I HATE THIS GUY!!! BUFFY STAKE THAT STUPID VAMPIRE!! scream " But at the end of Season 7 (when he died) I was all like "NO SPIKE DON'T GO!!!!! burning_eyes DON'T DIE PLZ STAY WITH BUFFY!!!! crying " The way he changed from a evil vampire to a sweet, charming guy something I definetly would not of predicted. But I LOVE HIM ANYWAYS!!!! mrgreen
