Senior year is finally over. That means it's time to take that one last trip together. There's only one problem: no one really knows where they want to go. So, there's only one way to settle it. They are going to just drive. Wherever they end up, they'll make the best of it. Two vans, a good bit of money, and a two bag per person limit is all they need. Little do they know that Silent Hill has bigger plans for them.

Natalie stood silently by the van. Aidan was already packed in and ready to go. She was waiting for everyone else to get settled and ready, she was leaning against the driver's door playing solitaire on her Blackberry. She sighed as she looked in the window at Aidan, who was rapping on it with her knuckles. She watched the young looking girl raise her hands at her sides as if asking, "well?"

"I dunno, chika. They have ten minutes though." She traded grins with the little mute girl and turned back to her game. She was getting antsy to take off too. It was summer. It was the end of school for them all. It was time to freakin' party! She raked a hand through her short, bleached blond hair and huffed as she lost her game. She shoved the phone into her pocket and climbed into the van again. "If we don't get moving, we're never gonna get outta here."

Aidan would have made a bored noise if she could have. But she couldn't, so she had to deal with sighing instead, and that just made it sound as though she were sad. She wished she could speak. She wished her vocal cords weren't basically nonexistent. But such was life. At least she had friends that basically understood what she was signing. Sometimes her idea of signing was more like pointing to things and making random gestures so they'd get the hint, but it was communication none the less.

"What's taking so long?" She signed in the rear-view mirror. All she got was a shrug from Natalie. Well that was swell. Seemed like she wouldn't get out of here any time soon and she had no idea why. Well this sucks. She thought.
