Two years after the death of Rotti Largo, and Amber Sweet's placement at the head of the company, GeneCo. was reformed. But not for long. It quickly fell back to old routines and Repo Men were once again hired to go out and snatch back the organs that were given. And has anyone complained? Of course not. Once again GeneCo. is at the top of the food chain. If anyone hadn't expected things to go back to normal, they needed a brain transplant. So welcome to normal life in the city. Be sure to keep up with those payments, kid.

[ [ Out from the night, from the mist steps a figure... ] ]
He stands at six foot six, head and shoulders.
Pray he never comes knocking on your door.
Say that you once bought a heart, or new corneas,
But somehow never managed to square away your debt.
He won't bother to write or to phone you.
HE’LL JUST RIP THE STILL-BEATING HEART FROM YOUR CHEST!

The night was dark, and damp. The redheaded assassin crept through the shadows, stalking her next assignment. Tonight had been slow. No one was putting up enough of a fight. The redhead sighed as she watched her prey turn on to yet again another crowded street. "Oh he knows I'm after him." She muttered as she followed along a distance back in the shadows. She adjusted her mask that showed nothing but her creepy eyes.

She passed through the shadows, getting slowly closer. It was time to chase this b*****d into an alley and rip out that liver he so much needed. As she got closer, he sensed her presence. He turned a few times before catching her eyes in the darkness. Terror fleeted across his face as he began to run. She followed with a swift dexterity that should scare any other human being. Finally he made his mistake and turned into a cemetary. There was no going back now. She had him cornered.

Too bad he needed that liver... She needed it worse.

Now you could run, you could hide, you could try to.
But he always has a way of finding you.
He will come at your weakest hour when no one is around who might rescue you.
And none of us are free from this horror, for many years ago we all fell in debt.
New body parts were needed to perfect our image.
And until out debts are cleared, we will live in fear of the...

xXx I don't know who I am anymore. xXx
Had a dream that we were dead, but we pretended that we still lived.
With no regrets we never bled and we took everything life could give,
And came up broken empty handed in the end.
In the hearts of the blind, something you'll never find is a vision of light.
With the voice of the dead I'm screaming.

Coye came in late to work. Her hair was disheveled and she looked like she'd been yelling as her eyes were red rimmed and she kept rubbing her throat. That, or she had some kind of cold. But the more plausible explanation was that Coye had been yelling. She had probably been fighting with her parents about their zydrate problem.

Her boss didn't say anything. He handed her her apron and she nodded. Coye rarely came in late, but when she did, it was probably for a good reason. She took her place at the register and screwed on a fake smile as she smoothed out her short black locks. "Welcome to The Coffee Shack, what can I get you?" She asked, falling into her same, mundane routine.

Had a dream that fire fell from an opening in the sky.
Someone warned me of this hell, and I spit in his naive eye,
And left him crying for my soul he said would die.
In the hearts of the blind something you'll never find is a vision of light.
With the voice of the dead I'm screaming.

"Go ahead and run....I'll find you. I always do...."

The man ran down the dark alleyway. He kept glancing back, horrified and panicking. He yelped as he tripped; trying to break the fall with his hands. "Help!" He cried out, wondering if anyone would indeed help him.

That's when he appeared, rounding the corner, whipping his head towards his fleeing target. He marched over, deliberatly making each footstep heard. The man whimpered as he began crawling on his hands and knees to try and escape.

The Repo Man broke into a light jog, a scalpel suddenly appearing in hands. He caught up with his prey soon enough. As the man tried to plead for his life, the scalpel was instantly brought down on his throat, the last of his words a gurgle.

The man that caused so much fear stood calmly, looking down at his latest target. With a small sigh, he bent down and opened his small bag. He began his work of repossessing the man's heart, lungs, and stomatch. It didn't take long for the experienced Repo Man to finish.

With a stretch, he closed his small bag, arose and whistled while he headed back the way he had come from, disappearing back around the corner. He moved aside his sleeve to glance at a watch that glowed a odd teal color at the push of a button.

"Oh. I'm running late." He muttered as he hastened his steps.

"No one can keep you from me. No one can hear you scream...."

"I'm the smartest and the toughest!"

Luigi Largo was bored. A bored Luigi meant trouble. Trouble lead to a long boring lecture from Amber. A boring long lecture from Amber lead to anger. Anger lead to more trouble. Such a vicious cycle...one that Luigi intended to break this day.

There were many times he wanted to simply kill his 'beloved' sister while she slept. But Amber was 'nice' and gave him two of his very own Repo Men to play with. He figured at first that they were just regular employees given to him as a joke and to embarrass him until he had issued his first command to them; to bring back some organs from people that missed their payment. He was surprised to see them come back and prove that indeed they were Repo Men. But that lead to another series of questions.

Why did Amber give them to him? Was she up to something? Did they have secret orders to watch him? Or worse, kill him? What purpose did it serve by giving her brother two Repo Men and not one? So many questions ran through his mind that his head began to spin. He had to get out and out fast.

Luigi shook his head and slammed a finger on the intercom located on his desk. "I'm bored and heading out. If the Repo Men report, tell them to wait for me in my office." Without waiting for a reply, Luigi arose and stormed out of his office and out of the building.

He stormed on the walkways, even pushing past people without so much as an 'excuse me' or 'sorry', wondering what he should do. As if some random God was responding he had paused in front of a coffee shop. He titled his head and pondered further if he should even go in. Without even realizing it, he had entered and a small bell rang above the door.

Instantly, he was greeted. "Welcome to The Coffee Shack, what can I get you?" Luigi took a moment to study the young woman who had posed the question before he smiled and placed his hands on the counter. He had really no clue what to get...other than, well, coffee.

"A large cup of coffee please. Lots of sugar and cream."

"Luigi don't take s**t from no one!"

Coye nodded. "Right away, Mr. Largo." She said as she turned and went to work. It was easy enough. And since he was a Largo it was on the house. She didn't have to worry about ringing it up, just writing it down on the designated sheet. She sweetened his up like she typically liked hers. She wasn't a big fan of the taste of coffee.

She took it back to the counter. "If it's too sweet I can change it out for a different cup." She said as she handed him the hot cup.

Branwen started to make her way back to report in. She had filled her requests for the night. She was sure there'd be more soon, but until then, she'd found all the delinquents. She began to hum under her breath as she headed back through the alleys.

That's when she saw him. Only she really knew who he was. They both reported to Luigi Largo. She whistled at him and nodded to him. The only indication that it was her was the long red hair that hung from under the black hat and face-mask. She made her way toward him. "Headed back?" She asked in a low murmur.

"I'm the smartest and the toughest!"

Luigi rubbed his hands together and continued to smile, though it grew a little bigger. "Oh no its fine." He took the coffee happily and decided there was no harm in asking her a question.

"Say, young lady, what do people do normally when their bored? I find myself often bored these days and nothing I usually do is entertaining me."

It sounded insulting, and Luigi half meant it that way too. But it was also an honest question.

{ { Tell my why, oh why... } }
How much of it's genetics?
How much of it is fate?
How much of it depends on the choices that we make?
He says I have her eyes, did I also inherit his shame?
Is heredity the culprit?
Can I stop it, or am I a slave?

Adina walked into the coffee shop sleepily. She'd been called in because one of the other girls hadn't showed up. She made her way behind the counter and pulled on an apron. "Evening, Coye..." She said as she rummaged around to make her own coffee. She'd get Coye to ring her up after the Largo brother left.

She hated working late shifts, but it was extra money her way so she wouldn't complain. It'd keep them in the house they were in. It'd bring home some extra groceries. Something like that. She knew that Branwen and she could always use them.

My dream of a life past this fence
It really makes no difference
'Cause I know that I'll never be fixed
Tell me why, oh why are my genetics such a b***h?

"Go ahead and run....I'll find you. I always do...."

A whistle made Arthur whip around, guard up and looking for a fight. His scalpel in hand, he began to relax when his mind registered it was only his co-worker and fellow Repo Man Branwen.

"Yes. Are you?" He replied. It was quite obvious that she was or going to be soon. "Are you going to say hello to your sister on the way back?"

It was how they first met. Arthur had registered her as a Repo Man the day her sister had undergone surgery under orders from Amber and later on began training her for the job. She took to it like a fish to water and Arthur was quite proud at how fast she learned and how quickly she rose the corporate ladder. In his opinion, the woman had earned her place more than thousands of times over.

Coye raised an eyebrow, one would say it was almost an insolent look. She knew he was trying to ruffle her neatly primped feathers. "I typically like going with friends to the movies... Of course there's also shopping, but I'm sure you'd consider that a girl's thing. There's also going to the races, or a casino. Betting and playing cards is rather exhillerating..." She nodded. She wouldn't add that she herself liked to spend time at home singing and reading.

She waved at Adina. "Hey, luv. I'll get you in a sec."
