Here's the general info and guidelines for each pet. I want to keep it fairly broad, but look here for general information on what they can do:
Manachromes: These crystalline humanoids are the physical representation of the world's magic, or mana. Created from a shock-wave of magic and emotion, they were formed from the gemstone heart locket that Chiaros attempted to gift to Spectrum. The world's magic is accessed through mana crystals, referred to as faderocks, which cover the Manachromes bodies. The older they get, the more potent the magic becomes. However, for the magic to work, it needs some form of energy source. This is accessed through color. Manachromes draw color from things around them, leaving that item gray and lifeless, and converts it into the magic. Manachromes most generally discover their magic at an early age, and when they do, they discover that they are fluent at one particular thing. Whether that be an elemental form of magic or something else, that is the practice that becomes most easiest for them, and which most tend to focus on.
