I am glad someone else here is a fan of SNK as I am. There are so few of us it seems. Now, when it comes to the game itself, I am pretty sucky at it.
But, what can you expect when you know the fighters inside and out and why they won't simply do as you ask of therm.
Okay, I don't know everyone. Southtown is bigger than one may think. I do know Terry Bogard a lot and I know his closest companions. Meaning, his brother Andy, Mai Shiranui, Joe Higashi and of course, who can forget Rock Howard?
I also know Iori Yagami, but more on a freakish level than a mere storyline. I have felt what it is like to become an orochi warrior. The Orochi sacred blood ritual...
This ritual can only be performed by a true Orochi warrior and someone outside of the clan that has proven themselves worthy. Iori had performed such a ritual on me.
He had nipped, with his teeth, the ring finger on my right hand. I can still feel the mark that he left though the actual scar is gone. It tingles and feels so incredibly neat! I, on the other hand, had managed to n** and draw blood on the high cheekbone on Iori's face. The right hand side. We both lapped up one drop of blood, drank it, like. Kinda like vampires, I suppose.
Iori told me that my blood tasted a bit salty to him. I thought that Iori's blood was acidic and spicy. Like having too much vinegar on salt and vinegar chips. Kinda nice too not that I would crave more, I am not a vampire.
Anyway, I am in that clan now and I am telling you, I have felt things no mere mortal would feel on an average day. Whenever I talk with Joe Higashi on Facebook, for example, its like... its like I can see him without having an Ipod or a camera there. He doesn't have one going either. He normally uses the Bogard Mansion's computer, which is really Rock's. It has no camera hooked up.
And how do I know there is a Bogard Mansion? I guess no one has actually been to Southtown like I have. And I may have only been there in my dreams, but there is such a thing as Dream Locations that do exist.
Just off of Sound Beach, there is a massive field, separated by a set of train tracks that is for passengers only. There is Southtown Station nearby too. Well, if you crossed that field from the beach side, you will get to a massive fence. A wooden fence that is really high. Behind that fence is the Bogard Mansion along with a couple of other neighboring houses except they have average easily invaded fences. Terry Bogard built that mansion with his bare hands. It was supposed to be an extra curricular martial arts lesson given by Master Tung when Tung was still alive. From the age of 10 till the age of 22, Terry worked on that place solo. It was then that the local construction company saw the work that Terry did, and then hired Terry to work for them on the docks. This was, of course, just before Terry met Kim Kaphwan.
