Faults: Sazukaru may be a king, but he's not very motivated. He generally just sits back and lets things run as they will rather then doing anything about it. He does heed his people's warnings but doing something about them isn't something he considers a top priority. Living his whole life in isolation he doesn't really know the world around him and so he lets his Queen do as she will. All the same, he is one who will come through in the end in terrible situations for the greater good.

Abilities: Sazukaru is able to listen through the walls, so to speak. He has people running around everywhere whether they know his pawn or not. In this sense he has eyes in ears in every situation. He often will just send his pawn out for gossip rather then to do anything important. Also, because he is the most important person, he is able to jump right along side the Rook and see a new point of view. Thus, he sees almost everything that happens no matter where it happens from or who it happens to.
Biography: Sazukaru was born on the night of a full moon so his father blessed him with the name Sazukaru, which means to be gifted. They claimed he was a gift from nature and his whole life he was brought up as an item rather then a person. He had a very relaxed life and until his father's death, he didn't have any responsibility. When he did gain power, he put in place a system of checks and balances that would govern the people well on it's own. This system would ensure it's own survival and continue long after he died, if nothing got in the way. Unfortunately something did and now Sazukaru is realizing something is wrong with his wife.
Personality: Sazukaru is a quiet person with little motivation. He is someone who believes strongly in inner peace rather then outer price leaving everyone to attain it for themselves. He is often found giving advice to the townsfolk who come to complain to him rather then taking their complaints. Sazukaru is also one of the first people who brought a judicial area into the picture just for this reason. The people can judge themselves. For him, he is the final say and although both sides will be seen together, what he has heard through the castle will influence his vote when it is necessary. He works only to relieve himself from work.
Appearance:

Pawn: Hashiridzukai Hitamukinikiku
Faults: The main fault of Hashiridzukai is his name. He has such a long name that he is often called 'Hashi' which means something completely different then his name. His next biggest fault is that he is a very young man. Although he is very active and willing to help his King although he would much rather go play with the maids all day or check around town for anyone willing to try him. He chose the job that he did for two reasons, first, it got him out of the military, and second, he would be able to get just about any girl he wanted. Those two things influenced his decision and now, he is stuck as the runner of the King.
Strengths: Hashi does have some strengths. For all of his enthusiasm for night time to come, he is willing to work that much more to make it come faster by keeping himself preoccupied. Although this enthusiasm can be good he often doesn't get a chance to use it and that frustrates him to no end. The other thing he is good at is being a good social icon for the King. Although the King doesn't like the thought, Hashi is shown off to the people because he is such a cute individual and has become almost the icon of dreams.
Appearance:
Personality: Hashi is a normal restless hormone driven male with the intent of getting himself somewhere in life by who he is associated with. He can think things through and realize what's going on when he chooses to but so often he is preoccupied that he is useless. Hashi tries to look calm and cute all the same and thus, places a mask over his face that only the King can see through clearly. Of course, the King just pampers him and thinks he's cute too even with seeing what he's after. He is often sure to interrupt before anything happens.

Bio: Hashi grew up in a small town with his mother and three sisters. Because of this he became a very cute individual very fast. He was emotionally in touch with women from the time he was little and when they began to develop, his hormones went wild. Instead of immediately running out Hashi didn't know what was happening, having no Father, and began to study harder, refocusing the drive to something positive. His studies improved until he was the top of his class and when he finally graduated he learned just what had happened. By that time he had accepted the position as King's Pawn and from there, the situation flourished. He now lives in the castle as the King's eyes and ears to the town and others.

Name: Kimiko Ousama
Age: 30
Gender: Female
Race: Demonically Possessed Human
Faults: Because she has another mind in essence sometimes she fights internally with herself, hesitating to make decisions while the fight between Kimiko and her demon for dominance goes on inside Kimiko's head. She will lash out at people around her when this happens, getting frustrated with herself and needed to retreat to her quarters to collect herself and finish the internal fight. Though with this, once a decision is reached, it may not be final, and she can change her mind often if they the fight does not wield a strong winner.
Abilities: Being the Queen she has always been the one in charge as the King is mostly aloof with his own bidding, and with her demonic accomplice her strength is in her staff. She is able to command anyone in the room with extreme ability, even though they may not be her pawn, she has a presence about her that seems to just make others listen and do her bidding.
Biography: Brought up by her Father as a princess in not only title but treatment Kimiko was pampered and given just as she wanted. She was never a considerably sweet girl but she knew how to get what she wanted, and growing in a rural kingdom she found her entertainment in bothering the staff, curbing a twisted taste in hobbies, and without anyone willing to tell her no, they only grew with time. As the Queen and as the Kings wife she was a strong backbone to her husband who was always the softer of the pair. She took care of the staff in the house for the most part, made sure things ran smoothly and took an interest in the punishment of enemies and misbehaving staff. But as soon as she became possessed she took a turn even further down that darkened path. Watching the beatings of prisoners turned into beating them herself. Ordering around the staff for household tasks turned into sending them out on tragic tasks in the country side. Her strong will and reputation for not taking no for an answer turned into something to be feared throughout the world as one of the most twisted Queens in history.
Personality: Kimiko is naturally snobbish, fully aware of what her position bring her and what it means when she speaks. The demon in her has caused her to be even more demanding and ruthless then she was before. Her temper is much shorter then the normal person, even for someone in her position, and when she snaps anyone in the room is likely to feel the wrath of her anger.
Appearance:

Pawn: Hitomi
Faults:Believes everything that is told to her, then on finding out that someone lied to her, she gets very upset. Even though Hitomi is a smart girl, she is just so goal oriented for her Queen that while in a mission for her she seems to forget herself and takes information as it comes as truth, anything to get the job done.
Strengths: Hitomi is extremely loyal and will do anything and go anywhere for her Queen. Her appearance makes it easy for her to move about in the human world and country she serves in, and doesn't hurt when attempting to fulfill a task for her Queen that might need the male genders help. Because of this it comes in handy that along with her loyalty is her unquestioning state, never second guessing what the Queen needs of her, or what needs to be done to accomplish that task.
Appearance:
Personality: She has a fierce love and vibrancy for life, pushing herself to experience everything. Though her darker side tends to lean her toward the more risque idea's of life, she revels in new experiences and learning. Looking at the Queen as some kind of goddess she follows her without question, the demon side of her even recognizing the demon in her as far more powerful then herself.

Bio: Banished from the demon world as an abomination, her father a demon, her mother human, Hitomi was never extremely strong as a demon or as a person, and always found the stronger around her to serve. So when she heard of the Queen needing a new pawn, she was first in line to apply. Feeling the demonic energy that came from the Queen right away she pledge her life to her and would serve her as best she could. Hitomi guessed it was the demonic side of the Queen that pitied her and took her in and gave her a place to belong, and because of that she will serve unquestionably for the rest of her existence.
