Angels are such monumental creatures. Eyes of golden silk, tongues that speak the languages of liquid desire and proposition, never dashing a lie off their lips.
With silver wings, they fly with the birds; their laughter echoes through the sky like thunder. Through the eyes of a human, the light of their transformed, evolved souls shine like fire, burning the flesh.
Suddenly, they are not so beautiful. They are too beautiful. Disgust. Remorse. Depression. Suicide. It is all part of the continuous game.
So now, God says they cannot be free like before. They must be quiet and live in perpetual silence, forever watching with grave, imprisoned eyes as the humans live their lives out below them. Envy, greed and resentment are now in play. But it's all part of the game. All part of God's big plan...

The time is now. Angels have been forced to live in secret, away from human's jealous eyes. The humans, God says, are too weak to handle such beautiful
things. So he took away their faces and locked them away, up in his heavenly castle in the clouds. Most have all but forgotten the more complicated race
below, but few are still entranced, still remorseful of the times they had once shared with their mortal counterparts. Because God knows, most literally, that
an Angel and its human will always have a connection. And for those who haven't met their Angels yet, will never be whole.
Celtran is one of those Angels. Hardheaded and far too bold for his own good, he longs for the earth below. And now, he realizes, it's time to go. To escape. To break the rules.
So he does.
And now, his wings are black....
Demon's Side
Demons have haunted the earth's surface for millinia, feasting off mortal souls and the remnants of Angel energy. Lurking in shadows of fear, blanketed by the wrath of God. But now that Angels are no longer part of the same realm, the Demons have free reign. No human is safe from the tempting offers, the hideous corruptions, or the dirty deeds. But who says it's anything about anger or hatred? What's so wrong with a demon trying to get a good meal now and again?
What I'm Looking For: A human counterpart for Celtran (uke, no seke) with some intellegence. You must be literate (honestly, check your freaking spelling once and a while) and no doubt I will stop rping with you if you are grammatically stupid, and just go to someone else. Sounds mean, but just because the English language can't get pregnant doesn't mean you should rape it. Long posts. I post very long most of the time, and I understand a brain-fart, but I take the English language very seriously. Your character>>> Cannot be a p***y. No whiney uke, no "omigod, save me!" like some Kagome from Inuyasha. Though they can have moments (hell everyone cries a time or two), just don't make them a total wimp. And no a*****e either. Good god, let them be somewhat considerate. Oh, and if you want to make more than one character, please do. I really do like it when you can come up with side characters to make the story more interesting biggrin
-Rules- 1. Send me a PM with your character profile, don't post it. (And I do make you give writing samples) 2. Posts must be more than just a few sentences, at least four. 3. No text talk (Hbu? idk wut I wanna do 2nite, etc.). It's friggen' annoying as hell. 4. Same Guild rules apply here. No bashing, slashing or mashing, if you'll please. 5. I don't have a problem with any "funny business" (to put it straight-->sex) but please abide by the Guild's rules and regulations. Thank you. Add the ninja icon at the top of your profile PM so I know you've read these rules)
Profiles- Example below Gaia name:Eats_a_Lot Name:Tony Picture (or at least a quick description): Personality/Past:Was born in Nevada, three sisters, etc. Likes:Swimming, romance novels, etc. Dislikes:Apples, Ping-Pong, etc. Race:Angel/Demon/Human

As the Angel sailed downwards through the cloud cover and slowly darkening skies while he exited Heaven's boundaries, many thoughts raced through his mind. What has become of the earth he once knew? What of its people now left to be corrupted by Demons? Was his human alive? Well? Good? There are many variations of that word, but he knew precisely what was meant. He was an Angel after all. Mostly, he hoped God wouldn't notice him being gone until midday mass. He went to the early morning, thankfully, but he had to slip off as quickly as possible after that. Slightly nerve racking, yes, but it was for the best. He hoped. Then he saw it: the bright blue and green object that was the Mortal World, Earth. His golden heart skipped a beat and he pushed his pace harder. So many things to do, but only one person to see. He wondered where that person was.... ((Cut to Human))

Ryouma sighed, and shielded his face with his arm as he looked up at the sky. It was a hot day, and the sun was very bright as well. He scowled at the sun and hurried to his destination up ahead.
He had been told that he was getting a job offer today, so he needed to go in to the studio this morning. He wasn't a morning person. However, work was slow recently what with his last job being put on hiatus for a week or so. An important writer or something was ill, apparently, so the show was being put on hold until they got better.
He really rather being playing tennis at the club that he recently joined. He entered the studio and was met by hi manager, who was relieved to see him there on time, and not hung-over. He'd started light drinking, since his body seemed to have a low tolerance it never became a major problem, and he'd had a few times where he came to work with a light hang-over.
His manager led him to where he was to meet with the person that wanted to hire him for some new series that would be starting soon. The meeting went well and he was told recording would start in two days, as he was the last voice actor that was needed.
Since he was done with all he needed to take care of, Ryouma left the studio and decided to head to the tennis club for some light practice.((gotta go now, will probably be late to class since i decided to post this now..Laters!))

((Alright)) With a proud bruise upon his cheek, Celtran walked the streets of Japan in his supreme strut, which was actually quite graceful. He had learned pretty quick that trying to touch every person on the street to feel their soul wasn't something you do now a days. And he had aquired quite a hard punch from one anger prone man. But he was only looking for his human. His long long lost human. But he'd touch every face in this city to find that one mortal; the key to his soul. The energy was here, in this city, at least and he could feel it. Whatever long lost connection it may be, there was still the essence of a potential encounter that led him in a curvy path through the people, and hopefully towards the one he was looking for.
The night was cool, despite the city being as crowded as it was (he'd never expected the human population to grown in his time away: two millennia) though not cold. Cool. He didn't much care for it. It reminded him of Heaven, what with it's even thermostat and never-changing weather. He had only been here for about 42 hours, after crashing in what was, he guessed, an important mode of transportation called a subway. But he was getting the hang of it and with one last sigh of content, he hitched his falling sleeve up higher on his arm and continued on.
Passing a tall building (one of many, many others), though at least this one not decorated lavishly with blinking lights and television screens, something flew out in front of Celtran. Snatching out with his abnormally accurate speed, he pluckedthe object out of the air and looked down at it. It looked like...a hairy ball. A very bright, hairy, fuzzy ball. He blinked at it before someone came jogging up to him from the front doors.
"Thanks!" They said, though in a foreign language. Computing it momentarily, he finally understood and nodded, giving it away. Whatever it was. The stranger returned to the building and Celtran's white eyes followed him until the revolving doors stole his image. Out of mere curiousity, the Angel stuffed his hands into his pockets and entered the building. Inside, he found many strange balls flying back and forth on a wide span of material, people carrying large bats of sorts and hitting the objects hither and thither to eachother. He was captivated. Well, even as an Angel, Tennis looked pretty intense.

Ryouma arrived at the tennis club shortly after Celtran had. His tennis bag was still in his locker, locked up safe and sound. He was a rather famous young man, though he was mostly just a voice actor. He was still a celebrity of sorts.
Ryouma entered the room with the courts and breathed in the familiar smell of tennis balls and courts. He moved over to the practice court so he could practice alone. He pulled his black racket with red strings out of the tennis bag and pulled out two tennis balls from another pocket and began bouncing it a few times before he started off with a simple power serve.
He spent the next while running back and forth little as the ball returned to him each time it bounced back, despite the direction he hit it in. He even showed off some cool moves that he'd copied from Pro's that he'd seen, only they were altered to fit his own tennis style.
Once he was done warming up, he grabbed the ball that was sailing at his head, not even having to look at it, and scanned the room for someone that wasn't playing right now. There was even a free court close to where he stood.
His eyes caught on a male that was obviously a foreigner, possibly from Italy, or Greece? The man was watching a match between two guys that Ryouma faintly remembered, though their names escaped him at the moment. He walked over, picking up his tennis bag on the way, and stopped next to the foreigner.
He watched the match for a while and muttered, "Mada Mada, Da ne," a saying his father often used on him as a kid when he was learning Tennis. He tilted his head to the foreigner, and saw how beautiful the older male looked.
He was also much taller than Ryouma, with tanned skin where Ryouma's was lightly olive-tanned. Golden olive eyes lifted to see the man's face. What they saw nearly stole his breath. The male had pale eyes and brown hair framed a gorgeous face.{{okay, i'm gonna have to leave now, if only to shut my mom up... be back on tomorrow - EDIT - I added to the post ^^ and I gotta get going in ten-fifteen minutes}}

Whistling a hymn that he was supposed to be singing at morning mass that day in Heaven, Celtran gazed at the people absently, imagining the only person on his mind. What did they look like? Did they have children? He hoped not. He hoped his person was still pure...
Yes, something was here. Celtran gazed around with alert eyes at the games, practically fixated on them. These people here, they were so short. And they all looked the same, with dark hair and eyes, skin matching to the inside of a spring plum. And yet here they were, these small, mortal creatures, speedy little things, bolting back and forth over the hard court; diving, skipping, leaping, dancing. My, it really has been a long time since I was last here. Did all the humans look like this on earth? No, that can't be right. There were a few different people, some tall and white like a sheet.
"A strange place." he said quietly, the white irises drifting over the delicate things. "How unpleasant it is of God to hide these things."
Again, something was here. Even a scent or a memory connected to the human he scoured for had been patched to this area, and it made the Angel inhale deeply. What a scent! Though, a little confused with the other human's smells, but with it lingering on his senses he could easily pick it out. Something more, maybe. Whatever it may be, it made his hands tingle, something he loved about this little world. It could surprise him, he didn't know what was coming, you could never tell. And just like that, a surprise fell out of the sky. Or crossed the tennis court to stand beside him. Either way, it was fate.
Scratching the back of his leg with his foot, Celtran's head tilted to the side at the sound of a voice. So strange, it was, that he should find it familiar even though he'd surely never met anyone--Wait. The angel looked to his side quickly, unblinking eyes tilting down towards a human standing near his side. The asian was looking at him as well, though seemed to avert his eyes when he was caught at it. Celtran didn't see why, though he didn't ponder it for hardly a half a second before his golden heart leapt into his throat.
Could this be? A golden light had filled the last shadows of his Angel heart, scaring off any doubt he wasn't mortal enough to feel, causing his knees to weaken. Celtran could already see the faint glow around Ryouma - though of course, he had yet to learn this was the others name - seeping like a potent sheen from the boy's pores. Obviously such a pretty color was invisible to a human eye, but Celtran could see it clearly and it was brighter than the corona around the moon. For an entire minute, Celtran stared down at the other, contemplating. What to do? He doubted he was wrong (he was an angel after all), but what if he had the wrong human?
"I found you." he said in English.

When the man turned to him, Ryouma turned his head away, not wanting to get caught staring. His face was slightly red, and he was surprised to realize it was embarrassment. The tall foreigner nearly towered over every single person in this tennis club, which wasn't overly surprising since it was mostly being used by a younger age group currently.
The foreigner's voice, when he spoke, was just as perfect in its beauty as the owner of said voice. It took him a moment to comprehend the English spoken, and he arched a brow quizzically. "You were looking for me?" He replied in only slightly accented English.
He felt a weird connection of sorts to the foreigner, and curious, he asked the other, "What is your name?" He noticed how close-by observers were trying, and failing, to follow the English conversation out of curiosity.

There was no need for Celtran's inborn translator to mix with the words from the short one next to him, as they were responded with the same language. It amazed Celtran and his head tilted the slightest degree to the side, calculating eyes pouring over the small japanese boy. The voice, a little hesitant, hit his ears again like a splash of pleasant water. Celtran's eyes, which never blinked (ever), closed for a moment as he indulged in the sound like it was a lavish dessert. Opening after a second or two, his vision readjusted and he could again see the beautiful aire of gentle energy wafting from Ryouma. But now, it had company.
As hard as Celtran tried to hide the angelic essence that leaked through his pores and features, the other's own was dragging it out, almost beckoning for it to mingle. The golden lights, different by the intensity and luminosity - obviously Celtran's was stronger, a little cleaner as he was aware of it, unlike most humans - met in between the real people and slowly began to combine. Celtran watched, despite the rather absent look it gave him, and a warmth enveloped his body, spreading from his toes to the tips of his wavy, chocolate hair. How beautiful! Their energy was cohabitating! And now he could feel certain emotions, read minimal thoughts and even sink a little into the other's past, just simply by touching energy.
Answering a little late, but still thus, Celtran said quite seriously, "I am Celtran. And I've been looking for you for a long time. Ryouma."

The reply stunned him. There was the fact the the man had a beautiful name, then that he was looking for him for a long time. But at the top of the list was that this stranger, who was apparently looking for him, knew his name. He hadn't even told him what his name was.
"Wha-What do you mean, looking for me? And h-how d-did you know my name?" He demanded, though his voice was shaky. He also felt a weird pull between him and this man, Celtran. It was confusing and comforting. Amber-olive eyes nearly closed to get a better feel of the sensation, he noticed a sort of glow between them.
From him came a sort-of tarnished gold, similar in shade to his eyes, actually. While from the other was a brighter, more pure golden glow. The glows were mingling, and that was what he was feeling. His eyes shot open and his mouth dropped to form a small 'o' in surprise. "What are you?" He asked, voice now steady, but sounding a little breathless.
He'd unintentionally, and unconsciously, pulled the taller male away from the courts and their onlookers who had failed to catch most of their conversation. His face had drawn itself into a slightly pouty scowl, one that he used when he was trying not to freak out, or when he wanted to get his way. It usually worked, as it made him look 'irresistibly adorable'. According to his manager anyway.

This human, there was something about him - beside the fact he was quite short. Overwhelmed with excitement and a mix of many emotions, Celtran had a little hard of a time gathering his thoughts. He had felt it, the connection. And power. Oh, Heaven and Hell, he was feeling powerful.
Then, as reality works slowly and on its own time, he became aware of what position he was in. This was certainly not normal for humans. He dropped his hands at his sides, taking a more casual stance and trying his best to hide the glorious holy energy that leaked through his thin, humanoid skin. The other was obviously wary at first, not taken to the idea that someone he didn't know was looking for him. Celtran wondered how this human would take it if he said he had disobeyed God's order of angelic silence to come down and scour the human world just to find him and spend the rest of the mortal's life together, turning his wings black and forever banning him from ever returning to the sanctity of Heaven.
But at the moment, it was hard not to take his strange eyes off the boy, so small, cute and...He didn't know how to describe it. Human? At this moment, gazing down on the other, Celtran's view of the human race was reawakened. They were such fragile creatures, that's why they needed Angels, and they were easily drawn between the two lines of Good and Evil. Able to feel pain and love, but also anger and lust, they were susceptible to all kinds of things, both physical, mental, and emotional. Such mysterious beings. Celtran loved it. In short, one could say he was obsessed with them, but that was impossible. He was an Angel after all.
The silence it took for Celtran to process all this was probably unnerving for the human, but the Angel was all but delighted, though he kept his face calm and unreadable. "You probably find me odd." he said. More of a feeling than a guess. Refraining from asking a billion wanted questions, he kept his hands in his pockets, mainly to hold from touching Ryouma's face. He looked at the human, feeding off him with his eyes.
"But I'm harmless. Harm none, that's my motto." Or God's motto, more like. Angels tended to disreguard most of them, except the suckups. He laughed in spite of himself, a sound more like knuckles on a thin window than anything a human would procure, and he knew that comment was peculiar. "Please, do not worry." As if a command, relief was sent from the Angel's body to Ryouma's, moving in to calm him.

Ryouma was at a loss for words. The foreigner was definitely odd. He watched as the other went into a weird pose, then returned to a normal kind of pose. The motto that Celtran mentioned was a weird one as well. That kind of motto would make for a very short life these days.
"What if someone harms you? Just let it slide? That's a stupid motto." There was a little bitterness in his tone, and memories flashed through his mind of a time when he'd been hurt and hadn't been able to do anything about it.
The taller male did something, and Ryouma felt a wave hit him from where Celtran was standing. It was oddly soothing, though, so Ryouma let out a slight sigh as he felt himself calming down slowly.
He remembered where he was, and his golden eyes sharpened into focus again. He could hear people whispering and pointing and knew he must have made some sort of expression when he felt the soothing relief. He scowled slightly, though it looked more pout than anything, and turned his olive-gold eyes to Celtran.
He doubted he would be able to focus on tennis anymore at the moment, so he decided he would just head home for the evening. He was also getting slightly hungry.
"Well, Celtran-san. I'm going home. Are you planning on following me there?" He sounded like he knew that Celtran would follow him whether he wanted the other to or not. There was a resigned sigh in his voice. Not waiting for an answer, he turns and heads for the change rooms to change out of his tennis clothes.
He probably could have just gone home dressed as he was since he hadn't done much exercise in the shorts and t-shirt he used when playing tennis at the courts; but he felt like changing anyways.

Celtran blinked. Well, he'd also forgotten how case-sensitive humans were, not to mention that their moods could change at any time. "I--ah," for once, he'd lost track of what he was going to say. The boy strode off on his own to what he presumed was a place of rest or something of the like - taken that every other male in this place was entering the same room - and the Angel was left with his mouth slightly open, hand caught halfway up as if to catch the retreating human. "Celtran-san?" Must be some sort of pen-name, he decided, but before he could think to much on it, the human was lost in a group of more short people heading into the locker rooms.
Heart leaping in his throat, he rushed after, trying his best not to knock people aside as he tried to find his little human. Thankfully, the room only had one other door, and so far it didn't seem to be opening for Ryouma to escape. Turning his head this way and that, curly hair waving about his usually calm face, Celtran searched. It wasn't a long one, though to the Angel it felt like a thousand years of looking. "You are quick for a human." he commented, coming to some blocky cells that people were putting their things in. Yes, he was going to follow Ryouma home. But not if the boy didn't want him to. Oh, eh couldn't help it! he was just so excited to finally have found his human, and it made him flutter with excitement.
"Do you live... in this big place?" he asked, meaning the city. It was so loud and crowded, Celtran didn't know what to think. "Do you not get lost?"

He'd changed and put his things inside his locker when Celtran came in and asked him, what he thought of as, a really odd question. Okay, it would be considered odd to anyone.
He arched a brow that was the same dark green-black shade as his hair. Then he chuckled slightly and replied to the question.
"Live here? At the tennis club? No one lives here. People use it to play tennis..I think it's even used for tournaments sometimes. My house is a ways from here." He led Celtran out of the locker rooms and down the hallway they were in, to the outside.
"I have to catch a bus to get to my house, as it is nearly at the other side of Tokyo." With that explained, he walked to the bus stop near the entrance. It was a fifteen minute wait for the bus to get back to the stop, so Celtran would have plenty time to catch up to him.
He hadn't told the man that he didn't want him to follow him, since he had this feeling like he wanted him to stay with him.
