“What is your greatest wish?”
[X] is the top dog in this school. No one dares to cross him, which is why it’s so difficult for him to keep a roommate. He can barely go a semester without having his roommate either bail on him or just drop out completely. The only reason [X] isn’t getting kicked out himself is because his father is the main patron to this school, Cronwall Boarding School. [X] really thought he had everything figured out… until he showed up.
Samuel Barenn, the new transfer student. No one really knows how he managed to transfer in here in the middle of the year and the guy isn’t talking. At least, not about his past. Other than that, this Samuel (or Sam as he prefers) is just bubbles and sunshine. He also isn’t letting [X] get his way anymore. He's even stood up to [X] once or twice, especially when he was trying to boss people around.
To [X], Sam is just a pest. Though, when an accident occurs, he quickly learns there is more to Sam than that happy little smile. There is something… not quite human about the guy. The more [X] digs into Sam’s past, the stranger things seem to get. He begins to see the boy beneath that sweet face and this only brings him into a world he doesn't understand. Strange rituals. Magic. Demons. Things that shouldn't exist are suddenly thrown right into his face. Worst of all, it seems something is targeting [X].
As things get more dangerous, will [X] turn his back on Sam or will he, for once, focus on someone else besides him? Perhaps, with a little time, he can unravel this mystery surrounding his new roommate.
