The city of Reading is forming an "Avatar: The Last Airbender" Fan Club. The first meeting will be on 8/15/09 at 1:00pm at the Pagoda. That's where scenes for a live- action movie based on the cartoon were filmed earlier this year. Fans can gather atop Mount Penn to learn all about the Peabody Award winning cartoon. The movie, which is being directed by M. Night Shyamalan, is due in theaters next summer.
