Did you know heaven and hell do not exist? There is only one place to go when you die. A kingdom on the other side of death, a place to deal with your afterlife, wait till you are set to be reborn and start your new path to death or face punishment for sins. Human’s talk of 'gods', 'angels' and 'demons' but these are not as they are said to be they get along ... well they rule together anyway. They rule over the afterlife and give order to rebirth. This is the story of the castle, the centre of operations in the afterlife, were they live.

Positions In order of rank: (pm me if you want more added)

(1/1)King: Crazy L Fangirl
Oversees everything and is a basic ruler.

(1/1)King’s Guard Captain: Elliptic Sin
The King’s right hand man/woman. Has the power to inquire and act on the king’s behalf although they cannot tell the commanders or supervisors what to do.

(1/1)Discipline Commander:
Did you sin? Ready to face the punishment? This person can even punish royalty, minus the King of course.

(1/1)Rebirth Supervisor: Elliptic Sin
Watches over the waiting list and rebirth of souls.

(0/1)First in Line Prince:
The first in line Prince is normally the most powerful of his siblings, power rivalling the king. The first in line will often kill siblings at birth if he thinks they will grow more powerful than himself. Is respected by those higher ranked than him because he has the likelihood to become king but cannot tell then what to do.

(0/5)King’s Guard:
Helps/led by the Guard’s Captain

(0/2)Prince’s Guard:
Those who are tasked with looking after the prince, guarding him and running his errands.

(0/1)Vice Discipline Commander:
Helps the Commander.

(0/1)Vice Rebirth Supervisor:
Helps the Supervisor.

(0/1)Society Leader:
Looks after day to day life in the land and overlooks the lower ranking (below Princesses/Princes) workings in the castle.

(2/10)Princesses/Princes: Souless Sayo, phycomuffin
Children of the King are not considered very high ranking unless they are first in line and will often be asked to do things and help around the castle or out in the land.

(0/#)Rebirth department:
Under the rein of the Supervisors.

(0/#)Discipline department:
Under the rein of the Commanders.

(0/#)Society department:
Under the rein of the Leader.

(1/#)Maids/Butlers/Craftsmen/Cooks: Crazy L Fangirl
Often ordinary souls with skills in a certain area. If they work in the castle for a long time they may start to develop a small amount of powers, when reborn this can lead to things like a sixth sense.

(0/#)Servants/workers:
Same deal as Maids/Butlers/Craftsmen/Cooks but they are unskilled in a trade, however if they prove themselves worthy and get noticed they can become part of a department.

Important to note:

~Everyone can be killed or hurt but to kill another character you must ask the person who acts them.

~If killed and not a princess/prince or high rank (they get automatically reborn into the human world) the soul disappears.

~Act your rank (power wise and such)

~Character flaws are encouraged

~You must pm me to ask for a position, but you post your own profiles (you may be asked to change things if it is too outrageous).

~Powers can be influenced by surroundings and personal emotions (e.g. if you are angry powers might go crazy or become slightly stronger for a very short time) but this has the downside of an after effect, like a hangover for powers and sometimes they won’t work for a period of time after.

~A pure dialog post will get you a warning and three warnings and you're out.

~Max 2 characters per person at a time.

~Everyone ages differently, but those with no powers no not age. (most of the 2 lowest ranks)

☾「Callysto Seraphina L'Eveque

A pinch of dried leaves, preserved at the perfect temprature. A nice dry heat with enough moisture to keep the flavor strong. A small serving of crushed berry, the color a dark crimson that painted the fingers like oxygen laden blood. A measure of vanillia, a soft pleasure that tickled the tongue and senses. And finally a spot of bourbon, a fruity bite that burned yet soothed.

Done with the strange concoction Callysto closed the top of the dark copper pot and set it to boil at a intense 350 degrees, a sinister and crooked smile gracing her pleasant face. The mark of either a mad woman or a witch planning her next brew. Though if Callysto is involved...its probably a little bit of both.

"Ooooooh, mec~ This tea is gonna be good! I can feel it!"

'Don't you always say that?' A male's sleepy voice, silent in nature and only heard within the safe confines of her mind, came just at the end of her sentence. Before a soft coiling could be felt moving up her left leg and around her waist, a snake's head finally coming to rest upon her shoulder. Its mouth wide with a odd reptilian yawn, echoing its voice's sentiment.

"Non! This one is gonna be perfect I'm telling you!"

'Tastes like piss and berries....' A female's voice came then, from just across the room and with the same amount of silence. But with a clearer and more awake timbre to it.

"....Quoi?"

'The last time you said that a tea was perfect, you said that it "Tastes like piss and berries", if I remember correctly...' The quotations were practically obvious in the sentence, and the amused quality to the crow's voice only added to the mocking tone.

".....Tais-toi ..." She clearly remembered that cup of tea, if it could be called that. The smell had been bitter and tangy in nature, its flavor reminiscent of waste and garbage. It had been a potion not even fit for the fire...rather one that warranted a ritual to relieve it of bad spirits before it was disposed of at the darkest edges of the kingdom.

"That was last time. This time its gonna be perfect....hopefully..."

Melric Juan Stelian」 ☀

Captain of the guard. A very prestigious job, and a job that many of the nobles wished to have. To be the king's right hand, his defender and messenger. Making his wishes possible and enforcing his rule when the spineless masses lingered and became easily swayed. A place of honor and might.

"Hmph."

He was nothing more that a glorified bodyguard if you asked him. Not that he had anything against the King personally. He wouldn't follow the guy so readily if he didn't at least respect him in some way. But even he had to admit that the job became...tiresome...after a while.

On principle he didn't really do anything in the run of a day. He didn't have to physically protect the King, the king's guards were already doing that. And even though he was over them and gave them orders..there were only so many times that you could say 'Always keep him in sight' before the lug heads finally got with the program and didn't need direction. So if he had no one to direct or a reason to serve...where did that leave him?

'In the hall wasting my not-so-valuable time, apparently....'

A dark plume of smoke rushed hazily through his nostrils, the cigarette that hung limply between his lips only partially the cause of such an effect.

[Postage~ But not so much for Melric. XP Ah, my brain is turning to mush and my eyes are seriously turning into a bloody wreck. I'll make a better post for him later....at a more reasonable daylight hour...]

King Hodei

Hodei observed the working of people amongst his throne room. Rather bored and wanting to do something, anything than sit here and wait for more work. Not that he hated being King, he rather liked the role. It was more just that he hated these types of days, nothing happening, same old same old. It got to him a little. He yawned, lowering one leg from his throne as mused over the idea of wandering the castle for a bit. It wouldn't make today any more exciting, though it seemed a lot better than just sitting here, waiting for something, anything to happen. He leaned his head back, placing a hand to his head and using his elbow to hold his head up as he tried to think about where to go.

"Could just walk for a minute..." he quietly mused to himself, slowly lowering his legs from his sitting position and getting up. As he stood, anyone working about the courtroom seemed to salute, to his mild dismay, and he simply waved a hand to say back to work. "Do they have to do that every time..." he sighed, leaving the large room and heading into the hall. A few guards obviously followed him, which bugged the King a little. But, he understood why; it was their job. And though he was likely the fastest and strongest here, he wasn't immortal or all powerful.

As he slowly strolled his way through the corridors and halls of the castle, he came upon his Captain of the Guard, smoking away as usual. He didn't acknowledge him too much, just really waving, before he continued to make his way through the castle.

Jerko Perko

Jerko was a lot more active and cheerier than most of the people. Not that he loved his job, but people were slowly getting the idea that, when he just cleaned a place, they should NOT make a mess of it right after. It pissed him off, and if they wanted the wrath of a cross-dressing, broom swinging psycho, than that was the best way to get him angry. He whistled lightly, swaying his hips as he swept away in one of the halls. He was about to go on his break soon, so he wanted to try and do a good job.

"Hmm..." he hummed a moment, eying the floor a moment. "I wonder if it's possible to clean something so well, you can make it reflect your image?" he thought aloud, leaning down and close to the floor. If there was a worst timing for Jerko to where a short-skirted dress, it was now. It looked a lot like a maid dress, however it seemed to have been greatly altered. Making it skimpier and tighter. And so, it was quite easy to see up the skirt.

-Umm...Callysto poisoned herself with tea?-

Melric Juan Stelian」 ☀

The King.

Melric tipped his head towards the man in greeting, not really a bow but still a move that showed the measure of respect that he deserved. The King wasn't really one for the graceful niceties of court anyway, and he sure as hell wasn't the sort to indulge in such 'niceties'. So the arrangement fit them quite nicely.

Removing the cancerous stick from its place for only a moment Melric went on to observe the guard as they passed by with their charge. A single guard stood at the rear, his eyes alert for all those that may try a hand at assassination or harm. There were guards at the immediate right and left of the king, a set of two from the back and front. Effectively boxing in the king from any sort of danger but at the same time allowing him enough room for at least the illusion of privacy.

'For that's all that really is...a illusion...' Melric thought with a small snort, his hand automatically moving to place his lovely addiction back to his lips. When you're some one in high standing, privacy is rare and hard to come by...and when you were some one like the King? Well...you were lucky to be caught breathing without some one asking 'is the room too hot for Your Majesty'. Needless to say, he was surprised that the King was able to only leave with five guards.

Though if he thought about it, it was probably because of his doing. Having guards were all well and good...but when there were too many surrounding the one that they wanted to protect...

It could really cause some problems. In this kind of game there are too many people who want to take the fast track up to nobility. And because of that, they aren't above sneaking into places or bribing others to get even a drop of inside information. So having a large band constantly following behind the King...would only make their attempts easier.

Melric nodded his head toward his subordinates, a sign of acknowledgement and slight praise at their good work. A small bit of praise...but some none-the-less. And much more than what he would usually give. The guards nodded back in response, a acknowledgement of their own and one of acceptance of such praise.

This silent 'conversation' only lasted a second at best, the others never leaving their formation and Melric never moving from his place at the wall...but in the end all understood what had been 'said'. Even as they went about their business as though nothing had happened.
