II Paradox II “I heard that they’re coming here tonight!” a female Leekozri blurted out as she handed another bright flower to Kaolla. “Of all nights why must they spoil this one? Such foolish antics,” she pursed out her lips and rolled her eyes. Kaolla chuckled softly as she pushed the stem in the small bouquet. There. Beautiful, she thought to herselfhe town. with a satisfied smile. The two were preparing for a small festival that was happening in the town. Everyone was getting involved with the festivities! Kaolla was quite excited as she was assigned to help with making bouquets to place around the fountain that flowed at the center of t “This is going to be a great year!” her friend cheered, making the other Leekozris in the room chant out too. “Indeed,” Kaolla nodded her head in agreement. “I’m going to put this one outside now. Meet you by the fountain,” she said to her friend and picked up the bouquet. Her fingers brushed against the soft petals of the wildflowers. They’re sweet fragrance filling her nose as she breathed in the scents. The two said their goodbyes and Kaolla departed outside. The town had never looked so busy before! Everyone was running here and there to make sure the town looked it’s best for tonight. A mixture of different aromas filled her lungs as she breathed in deeply. It was a wonderful sight of everyone working together and it fueled Kaolla’s excitement even more. She walked towards the fountain that wasn’t that far from the shop. Her jaw dropped as she looked at the different flowers that covered the gray outline of the fountain. Flowers draped along the sides and even the little statue that stood proudly in the center with water pouring from its hands. The statue was said to be the founder of the little town and too had flowers draped on his body. Her smile blossomed as she placed the bouquet along the edge of the pool where the water collected. “There,” she said quietly. “A couple final touches and it’ll be complete,” she stepped back a bit and stared at the amazing sight.

Blaze walked along the street, admiring all the wonderful colors of the flowers and breathing in deeply to enjoy the fragrance. "Ah! So lovely." Reaching the fountain the white haired leek stopped to gaze at it with eyes of wonder and intrigue .

II Paradox II “Isn’t it beautiful?” Kaolla said softly as her hands reached out and brushed against the petals of a rose. The smile on her lips blossomed as the petals felt like silk against her fingertips. She glanced over to see a male Leekozri whom she never came across before. She cocked her head to the side out of curiosity of who he might be. She shrugged the thought off knowing that it wasn’t any of her business even if he too seemed intrigued by the beautiful sight of the decorated fountain. “Just needs some finishing touches. Don’t you think?” she looked back at the male before stepping closer to the fountain. She blinked away from him briefly as she gazed down her reflection in the pool. Her vibrant purple hair bounced off her shoulders and neck every time she moved or there was a breeze. Is he still looking? She glanced over her shoulder to see that the male was still staring at the fountain. A faint laughter filled her vocals as she looked at him. “I’m Kaolla Su,” she stepped back and reached out for a friendly handshake. “But everyone just calls me Kaolla,” she smiled.

Finally taking his eyes from the stature Blaze blinked a bit surprised. "Oh!" he softly chuckled. "Sorry. Got a little wrapped up in the beauty." Taking her hand he shook it, "I'm Blaze. A pleasure to meet you." With a gentle smile the white haired male looked back to the statue, "I don't think I've ever seen anything like it in all my travels." With a slight turn of his head back towards her, "Could you tell me about it? I love to hear about the history of each place I visit. It's all just so fascinating."

II Paradox II “It’s suppose to be the founder of this town,” Kaolla glanced at the Leekozri statue that stood proudly in the middle of the fountain. “But everyone has their own different verse of how the town was founded. Some say that the founder dedicated the town to his betrothed and some say that two brothers fought over the territory and the winner claiming the town,” she continued. “But no one knows for certain,” her shoulders slumped a bit. “Blaze, is it? Maybe you should stick around for the festivities that will be taking place later tonight. It’s a wonderful way to get to know about our town’s history. Not to mention they’ll be plenty of games and fun all around!” Emerilla giggled in excitement. “So you’re a traveler? I’ve never traveled outside of this town,” she said. “I’ve always wanted to see the world though. Though I doubt that I’ll be able to,” her voice lowered a bit as she sat at the edge of the rim pool where the water collected from the fountain. A heavy sigh escaped from her vocals as she stared down at her reflection and moved her fingers across the surface of the water.

A soft nod made the white forelocks of hair swish and sway with ever motion, "Aye. I am a traveler. I tend to go where the whim of chance takes me." Placing his hand on the brim of the gathering pool Blaze looked himself over in his reflection, "It's not the most stable life style. Believe me. There are times I just wish for a place to call home." Shaking away the ill feeling of depression the golden male smiled, "Ah. But that is not something to think about during a festival. And I do plan on attending the festivities. I just need to find a place to bed down at for the night."

II Paradox II Kaolla’s eyebrows furrowed together as she looked at Blaze. She nodded her head as she listened to him and could feel the emotions slip off the words. Must be awful not having an actual home, she thought to herself. Even more so not having friends and family to be with, she sighed deeply as her eyes watched as he stepped closer to the fountain and gazed down at his reflection. Kaolla was so lost in thought with the idea of being a traveler. It seemed to have his perks of being alone and seeing the world, but she would also be separated from her friends and family and that didn’t go so well with her. Her shoulders slumped as a heavy sigh escaped from her vocals and she rubbed her forehead. Kaolla had nearly forgotten that Blaze was speaking let alone standing there as she quickly glanced to him. “Hm? Oh, that’s right. The festival tonight,” she breathed. “Well. Why don’t you stay with my Grandfather and I tonight? I don’t think he’ll mind at all,” Kaolla smiled. “In fact he might like the idea too much! My Aunt is up to see the Festival and well…Grandfather says there’s too much estrogen in the house,” she laughed softly. Kaolla stood up and brushed herself off. “What do you say? Free of charge. Plus Grandfather makes the best tea in town!” she brightly said. Kaolla’s smile blossomed as she looked at Blaze.

By the look on her face Blaze could tell she had been deep in thought. He could only imagine about what but didn't wish to bother her. In a instance, just as quickly as the sadness crept up Kaolla seemed to brighten. And with it a offer for a place to stay, "A...are you sure? I do not wish to be a burden to you or your family." Offering her a soft smile, "But even if I don't end up staying with your family a cup of tea sounds wonderful.
