Okay, so it was a bit brisk out, and it wasn't exactly all that entertaining just wandering and milling around the Saturday Market ... but it happened! A small victory? Now all we need is fairer weather and more entertaining ventures. Work in progress.
Seven of us made it, though a couple of them have yet to join the guild. I have a group photo posted in the photo album subforum, in which I look like such a dork I'm about to go drink some Drano® to see if that will speed up my metabolism (to hell with exercise!). A couple parents showed up, too, to make sure I wasn't going to toss any kids in a bag and whisk them off to Baba Yaga.
Anyway, we know that it can happen, so there's no reason for us not to meet up more often. I would like to see more people show up and for us to do different things, and eventually to attend some of the cool events that fill our summer.
Those who attended, let me know how it went for you, please. I enjoyed myself for the most part, but got hungry. It was nice meeting all of you.

As soon as my mood elevates and my nerves ebb toward the calm I will start coming up with ideas for future meet-ups, see if we can come up with other things to do and maybe improve the entertainment aspect some.
