It was quiet and poorly lighted in the lobby as Garrett Lagen entered the historical Lakeview Hotel of Silent Hill. It was known to accommodate many tourists that came for the famous amusement park or for the historical sight of the ancient religion that was practiced there. Of course, today, it seemed too empty for the rumors to be true. There wasn't any bustling crowds of people from New York looking to get away from the city life, or any Europeans with phany packs running a muck with the people at the counter. Even at the counter, it seemed to lack the employees necessary for checking in the guests.

"Hope they're not looking for a steady income, since they're being lazy with their job," Garrett muttered to himself, releasing his luggage so it would clash with the carpet flooring.

He walked up to the counter and rang the bell once listening as the chime echoed through the empty halls of the first and second floors. It seemed to be a little too relaxed for a hotel, which just proved to be ridiculous since nothing out of a story came to life. Garrett had to contain himself from that thought most of the time as most writers do.

"Maybe they'll come soon..." Garrett said allowed, hoping an attendant heard him. "Before I choose a damn motel."
