What are your thoughts on it?
Do you think it's a good idea, or just a waste of time?

Well, personally, I just don't see them as that much of an important thing. It's just a ring on your lip. But then again, that just means it's even easier for Gaia to create. Which leads me to think Gaia is ignoring our opinions. . .nothing there. The only time they ever do ask us for our opinion is when they are creating something that will get them more money. Like the Gaia app their developing for the itouch/iPhone. Ugh.

I don't see much point in it either but yeah i'd be hella easy. It'd be like...one black pixel.
They ARE ignoring us. It's all about money now.
They could care less about their users.
Like I said,I understand a site needs money to expand but ignoring their users is just going to get them shut down.

I think you really need to think about the logistics of a lip ring for your avatar.
I mean, it's really teeny-tiny, and yes, it would be simple to create, a single, tiny pixel. But then it looks like a simple, tiny pixel. It'd look like s**t, I think.
But you never know, they might make a lip ring for your avatar and it might be great!
And stfu about the 'omg they just want money'.
Well duh, they're a business. They'd be a pretty crappy business if they didn't want to make money.
And they're not ignoring their users, it's just things, like E.I are the most popular/profitable thing at their disposal. If users /want/ these things to go away and /want/ the gold shops updated as frequently, it starts with them. It starts with people not buying from the cash shop and not supporting E.Is and items won from RIG boxes by not displaying them on their avatars, even if you purchased them from the market place or were gifts. You're still supporting a 'lifestyle' that supports the very thing Gaia is doing that you do not like. It's like being a vegan and wearing a faux-leather belt. You're supporting the aesthetic of killing an animal for it's hide. Essentially, being a hypocrite. A great big one!
I do not see things changing any time soon, as the artists are clearly putting all their time into the E.I's/RIG box items, as users seem to like them the most because the items are cooler than items from the gold shop/etc. It's a vicious cycle. 8C

I'm not saying I HATE the EIz I'm just tired of only seeing them.
That's all I hear. Yes I love them but they are expensive!
I don't have the rl money to spend on virtual items haha
I just wished instead of focusing on the latest EI they'd focus on the glitches in slots or one of the many other problems around this site

Then please say what you mean, don't doddle around getting mad at gaia for 'ignoring their users' for paying the most attention to the E.I's. People are already pissy about how often they evolve, if they stopped evolving them as often as they do now, they'd have even more people angry.
I can't imagine this is a very easy job D8
