Founder swords(The swords of the 5 founders). These swords are sentient and will only allow its master to weild it. Anybody else touching the swords are in for a nasty suprise.
Flashfire [Rakia] -
History: One of the swords of the founders. Said to be forged by the master swordsmith in the Fire country. The swordsmith proclaimed that it was his masterpiece. It was then taken by the founder to be blessed by the priests at the oldest shrine to Kagutsuchi, God of Fire.
Discription: The sword looks just like a regular katana. But the quality is exquisite. The blade seems to be giving of heat contantly, the air around it warping and bending with the heatwaves. However, the metal remains cold. The guard and pommel is made of a golden material that is as hard as steel. The guard features a design depicting Kagutsuchi surrounded by flames. The hilt is bound in red silk. The scabbard of the sword is red in color, inlaid with designs of flames in the same material as the hild and pommel.
Abilities: The sword seems to conduct chakra very well. Allowing jutsus performed with it to be more effective. In battle the blade will grow extremely hot, cutting though most thigs with ease. If anyone but its master tries to wield it it will burst into flame, engulfing whoever is holding it.
Earth Splitter [Jiware]
History: During an earthquake in the Country of Earth, this sword was found in one of the cracks in the ground. It was beilved to have been created be the spirits in the earth and the earthquake was a way of presenting the gift to the people of the Country of Earth. The sword was lost when the bushi carrying it to the Daimyo was ambushed and killed.
Discription: The blade of the sword seems to glitter and shine like a precious metal. The craftsmanship of the blade is very high and the blade is rigid and sharp as the day it was forged. The guard and pommel is made of a strange golden material that is very hard. The design on the guard is that of a mountain surrounded by clouds. The hilt is bound in brown silk and the scabbard is also brown in color.
Abilities: The sword has the strange ability to crack the earth in two at the users whim. The user simply slashes the sword into the ground and the earth splits where the sword connects. When someone other than it's master touches it, the sword will open up a hole in the ground swallowing the person. The sword will mysteriously appear back on the surface where the person disappeared.
Raging Torrent [Kyouse]
History: This sword first seen in the Country of Water during one of its many civil wars. One of the Lords needed a weapon that could defeat his foes. He journeyed to the furthest peninula of the Water Country. There, alone on the rocky coast, he beseeched the god of the seas to grant his request. A huge wave crashed upon the shore beside the lord. As the wave receeded, stuck upon the rocks was the sword. The sword saw man battles and victories at the hands of the lord before he was struck down.
Discription: The blade of the sword has an odd, wavy look to it that resembles flowing water. The steel of the blade has a blue tinge to it and it always has droplets of water on it no matter how much it is swung and shaken about. The guard and pommel is made of a silver colord metal. The guard features a design on rough waves during a storm. The hilt is bound in blue silk. The scabbard of the sword is colored blue with the same odd, wavy pattern found on the blade.
Abilities: The sword cuts though anything (except legenary/quality swords). It also conducts chakra fairly well making it a good sword for doing jutsus with. Its defense mechanism is to change into water, flowing out of the stranger's hands and reforming on the ground. Meaning no one but its master can pick it up.
Whisperwind [Sasayaku Kaze]
History: This sword was forged by a swordsmith in the Wind Country. The smith spent two years crafting the sword to near perfection. He then presented it to his son who was in the army before he went to war. The son was killed in his first engagement and the sword presented to his commanding officer. The sword changed many hands over the years. Somewhere along the line gaining its abilities it has now.
Discription: The blade of the sword is near perfect. The steel folded and shaped with the care of the smith. A light breeze seems to eminate from the blade. When the sword is drawn from its sheath, a small whisper of wind can be heard. The hilt and pommel is constucted out of bronze. The design on the hilt is depicting a sakura tree with its blossoms being blown in the wind. The scabbard is green in color.
Abilities: The sword seems to have shadows of its blade made out of wind. These blades are limited in movement and cannot stray far from the blade. It does provide an element of suprise when attacking the ememy. The sword surrounds anyone who tries to wield it with cutting winds except its master.
Swift Lightning [Jinsoku Inazuma]
History: Forged in one of the highest peaks of the Lightning Country. Uppon completion, a bolt of lightning suddenly blasted though the roof of the smithy and struck the sword on the blade. After that strike, the sword seemed to be different, it looked better and more special. Some say it was a blessing from Raiden. That night, the sword was stolen from the smithy by unknown people. The sword has shown up all over the place since and is never known to let its wielder down.
Discription: The blade of the sword seems charged with energy. It seems to glow from the inside with a yellow light. Sometimes crackles of electricity run across the blade. The guard and pommel is made of bronze and the guard has the design of a thunderstrom on it. The hilt is bound in yellow silk to match its scabbard. The scabbard also has a lightning pattern on it, inlaid in bronze.
Abilities: The sword has the power to release a surge of electricity where it strikes. Anyone trying to use this sword other than its master will be electocuted by the sword.
