Do you agree with abortion or do you think it's evil? State your case

I personally find it truly evil. How can you kill an innocent child, even if it is just a cell or something else. You haev to realize that once you conceive the child, it's there and its a part of you now. You cant just go around killing it to erase bad memories (like rape) or the fact that you dont want to deal with expenses. Those who truly do this act are monsters and they should receive sever punishment for what they did.

I don't like the idea of it at all. I also understand that there are extenuating circumstances. (rape, life threatening pregnancies, genetic disorders.) I am firm in my belief that it should NOT be used a birth control.

You should also take into consideration what would happen if abortion was suddenly not legal any more. There would be all of these scared women and teenage girls going to some back alley clinic or locking themselves in the bathroom with a coat hanger and ending up..well...dead.

well as far as it goes i really pay no attention abortion is between the woman and her unborn fetus and it's really no one's buisness if she wants to terminate the pregnancy. my belief is the fetus is not a child until it starts kicking to me that is when the soul officially enters the body and the fetus becomes a person

good point... If you truly can't effectively look after the child, then it would be easier that way... but still, maybe the potential mother may feel guilty afterwards... abortion is a very big thing...

It's also better than giving birth then leaving the baby somewhere to die... not that's just awful!

that and some women simply aren't strong enough to give a baby up for adoption and if abortion is made illegal you'll only be putting money back into the hands of criminals. women will be getting back alley abortions, get infections or get raped/killed ,etc it's just safer to have it legalized , but educate the youth of this nation about contraceptives because i can telly you one thing abstinence only education doesn't work. a week after my school gave us that lecture i lost my virginity to my (now) husband
