STORY

A military base in Rubinelle has begun a top secret Mecha program, designed to preserve peace and order within the continent. But the grim reality does not match these aims, and it's newest recruits are brought into a war they don't know the reasons for.

However, to correctly condition these recruits at their young age the base must provide an education for the pilots. Due to the secrecy of the program, the pilots cannot stray too far from the base either. The only school within this range is Rubinelle High School, an all-girls institute. With a very sizable donation and understanding of the military, the school's first male students will be attending. Will the girls accept these new students or do everything they can to get rid of them?

THE SCHOOL

The school was built surrounded by miles and miles of trees and woodlands. Why this is the case is unknown. The school has many things here: They are 2 sets of dorms here. One for the females(First Floor) and the newest one, Co-Ed(Second floor). There's a TV, pool table, computer and a sitting lounge where they can just sit and chat to one another. It also has a big cafeteria(first floor), indoor swimming pool(first floor), gym(again, first floor) and of course, many classrooms.

Things to note:

Girls may begin as one of the mecha crew, but it wouldn't be considered weird that they were attending Rubinelle High.

Mecha can be piloted as a team or solo, so pilots can partner up!

Profiles should be sent to me under the title: "Rubinelle Rocks!"

RUBINELLE ARMY
From Pilots to Mechanics, Mecha Crews are needed to keep the army base running.

Username: Rasui
Name: August Thorp
Age: 16
Occupation: Mecha Pilot
Personality: Although he's stubborn and a sore loser, August tends to be a nice, easy going guy. He has a very laid back attitude toward life in general, which often gets on the nerves of his cohorts.
Bio: August left his old town and friends behind, chosen for the mecha program as he showed potential in piloting and combat. He has very few regrets, living a much harsher life behind the controls of a powerful war machine that outranks the greatest weapons the other continents have acquired. His ability to use the mecha as an extension of his own will and assess multiple pieces of logic at once with relative ease has put him at a high rank amongst the other pilots, although his brash and head-strong attitude still holds him back to piloting the "Falcion - 006".
Appearance: August Thorp

Username: xXxDark_Knight_20xXx
Name: Kira Takamoto
Age: 19
Occupation: Mecha Pilot
Personality: Kira is normally quite and tends to focus on the mission, allowing nothing to get in his way. Due to his lack of contact with females he tends to shy away from them or get easily embarrassed when around them. This new school has him racked nervous because it's an ALL GIRL's school. He is also a bit of a romantic. Not when it comes to woman, due to his lack of contact, but in the sense that what he says and does would be considered romantic.
Bio: Kira was raised in a military family and therefore rank and respect are the two most important things to him right now. But, just because someone is ranked higher than him doesn't mean he will automatically respect them. He will give them the respect that is required, but will not respect them with himself. Being the son of a military general, he had no choice in the matter of becoming a Mecha Pilot. His father pulled some strings and got Kira into this Top-Secret Mission.
Appearance:Kira
Other: None

Username:Mad Hatters Revenge
Name: Yuko Rovan
Age: 19
Occupation: Mechanic
Personality: She's too honest. She always speak the truth, even when it's not something you want to hear. Then again if there's an answer you might not want, don't ask the question to begin with. She won't sugar coat anything, it's why it's hard for her to make and keep friends. People seem to find her as mean, but really she cares about the people who finally let her be a friend. Friends come first, which made her a natural leader, not because she put others first, but because she became use to looking out for others and knowing when to throw out orders, or advice depending on the situation. She's always a hard worker, despite how bluntly honest she is, she remembers to show her senior officers the respect they're suppose to have, and keeps her mouth shut when she's suppose to. Being respectful was what her father taught her best.
Bio: Lillith doesn't have any memories of her mother. There's an old fading photograph of a gorgeous women with a smiling baby girl under a tree. However that photograph was the only one taken of her and her mother, the others the women had taken with her when she’d just left. Packed all her things and left her dad alone with a 1 year old baby girl. A dad who was in the army, hardly one able to simply drop everything and take care of a child. So she was an army brat, moved around a lot, mostly raised by a bunch of men, left alone with their wives or older daughters when they were shipped off to places their loved ones weren’t allowed to go. She spent most of her time taking things apart and putting them back together. Soon she started helping the mechanics around base. So naturally, when she was old enough, her father introduced her to Mecha, a good program that needed good mechanics. Taught her to always be a good friend, to always be honest, always be fair, and always look out for her fleet. Taught her to be strong on her own, to be a rock even when she wanted to crumble. He had to be strong when her mother left, and he taught her to be strong in case she ever lost anyone. She hasn‘t lost him yet, but he‘s been overseas for over a year now, with only a few letters back and forth. If you ask, she‘s fine, and is proud of him for being there and doing his duty. What she wont‘ tell you is that she misses him more than anything else deep down.
Appearance: Yuko

Username: MercenaryGrax
Name: Neral Vema Kurotsuchi
Age: 17
Occupation: Mecha Pilot
Personality: Neral is more often than not quite cold and treats people harshly even if they are his equals or his superiors. He is disrespectful and isn't afraid to insult a person if he feels they're dumb, rude, or even just in his way. Sometimes he even enjoys picking fights for no reason at all. Around girls he can sometimes be fairly shy. In fact, he has never tried to pick a fight with a girl. He is actually respectful to them and will gladly jump to protect any of them. Neral also refuses to speak and this fact often irritates those that try to start a conversation with him.
Bio: Neral has always been the silent, smart type of individual. His dad was a bit of a jerk and liked to drink, but he never once struck Neral. All he did was yell at him for no real reason. His mother is a very sweet woman and kind of spoiled him. However, he never really spoke to either of his parents. He never talked to anybody really. All he did was study and work on machines. Eventually he taught himself how to fight and began picking fights with people for the fun of it.

In his early teenage years, Neral was picked to be a Mecha Pilot due to his knowledge in both combat and pretty much everything else. His father was more than eager to let him go, while his mother was saddened. She wished him the best and he writes home to her every so often just to keep her happy. For the past few years he has been training and passing every test near perfectly each time. Now he's been told he needs to go to this all-girls school and, although being irritated by it, he is a little eager to meet all these girls.
Appearance: Neral Vema Kurotsuchi
Other: Neral likes to carry around some combat knives strapped to both legs underneath his pants just in case he needs to fight. He also carries a small handgun attached to his hip underneath his shirt.

RUBINELLE HIGH SCHOOL
Always walk through life as if you have something new to learn and you will.

Username: beckithewatermage
Name: Erica Steele
Age: 17
Occupation: Student
Personality: Erica is quite aloof, not too popular, but she has her fair share of good friends. She can be quite forgetful and ditsy, although she often does well when it comes to exams, other times though, she isn't so lucky. She is a good friend though and always means well.
Bio: Erica's parents were successful business people, so they were prepared to send Erica to a school such as Rubinelle. She had a good upbringing, stable, but her family holds its fair share of secrets. To this day, she does not know much of her parent's jobs, all she really knows is that they seem to be paper pushers and that they have enough money rolling in.
There isn't really much to say about Erica herself. she is just your average, if but a little annoying high school girl. She does not treat the fact of some boys entering their school with disgust, or as dating targets, but just sees them as an interesting addition, and more people to pester.
Appearance: Erica

Username: IGmangachick
Name: Evalin Parabell
Age: 17
Occupation: Student
Personality: Evalin is a wonderfully bright student, but she’s probably among the clumsiest in the school. She’s kind hearted to most and loves a good game, she’ll play just about any sport. She loves people to no end, and unless it’s someone she feels attracted to, she usually isn’t shy. She’s unfortunately far from being a proper woman. Though polite and honest, she’s gutsy and doesn’t always play by the rules. If not for her inability to deal with war she would have been well fit to join the mecha program.
Bio: Evalin is rather normal. Her parents were divorced when she was five. As soon as it was finalized, her father disappeared with some other woman, leaving Evalin and her mother alone at the house. No one ever much expected a call, he disappeared like he never intended to see them again and both women suspected that would be the case. Through elementary and middle school Evalin found the house to be rather empty. Her mother worked constantly and left her to fend for herself much of the time. It wasn’t the best way to live, but they were happy in such a situation, at least until her mother started dating someone the summer before she started high school. Living in her own house had become awkward; she just needed to get out. A few weeks before school started her freshman year, a letter came in the mail, coincidentally a letter from her father. It was the first time he’d reached out to them since he’d left, and it was strange to find a second letter from some all girls high school attached.
With little time or thought given in to her consideration, Evalin packed her belongings up to go to the new school. Though it left her mother unhappy, she was excited about a bit of freedom, and to know that at least she’d know her father was there, given that he was on the staff. It wasn’t until she reached the school that first day her freshman year that she found her father had passed away a few years before, but the invitation had never been declined. She reached an agreement with her mother, and made plans to be a student at Rubinelle, despite her father’s absence from the staff, for the remainder of her high school career.
Appearance: Evalin
Other: She has a half sister that’s two and who, despite the father, she is absolutely in love with.

August tugged his bag against his shoulder, walking toward Rubinelle High School. It sounded like a nice place, and it seemed like it had all the things needed to support the facility as well as the student body. "Speaking of student bodies...", he reminded himself, recalling that it was a all girl school. In his mind, it meant that they were likely to have not seen a boy on campus their age in...a very long time. He couldn't help but smile. However, August wasn't too happy about the idea in general. What if something went wrong with the school; August was always one to act first and think later, and his entire commanding force were worried that he'd give away the entire secret.

In the end, August saw no reason to still need to attend school; he was already in a job that he enjoyed and was paid well for. Who needs to learn Advanced Calculus with a life like his? His commander would never understand it from his point of view, so he sighed deeply and shrugged off the feelings.
He tightened his tie slightly, moving the crimson fabric mostly away from sight behind his dark overcoat. The school didn't have much in the way of male uniforms, but they offered him a tie emblazoned with the school crest. Aside from that, he wore a plain white shirt, new, light grey jeans and a pair of immaculately polished dark shoes. He was pleased with the formal/casual look, although it was a getup he rarely got into.

Passing through the empty car park, he took a quick glance at his watch. He was around 15 minutes earlier than the time school began, so he'd have enough time to establish a communications link with his superiors. Fiddling with an earpiece in his pocket, he carefully pushed it into his ear as he pressed the 'respond' button.
"Lieutenant Colonel, are you sure this is the right place? It looks kinda...empty", he asked, pushing his hair back as he let his finger drop from the button. He waited a few moments, biting his lower lip in anticipation for a response.
"We checked your location, and you should be standing in the school grounds right now", a cold voice responded, finishing with a soft sigh.
"Miss. Akyo, is something bothering you?"
The response came back," No. Don't call me by name!", before leaving August standing alone. Removing the earpiece, he let it fall precariously into his pocket.

The first day of a new term! Erica pulled her bag a bit higher upon her shoulder, pulling her other belongings behind her in a wheeled suitcase. The area around Rubinelle was quiet, there were no voices, but then she had come earlier. It was then easier to put away your things before you got stuck talking to everyone, comparing Summers, sharing stories. And then there were meetings, and try-outs, and then there was lunch, and...

Erica liked school. Well, not school in general, but she liked Rubinelle. The atmosphere there was good, it was quiet and secluded, and everything was just... fun, she supposed. That and her parents made her go here. They had the money to, therefore their daughter had to go to a prestigious all girls school, rather than a normal state high school. Plus, their idea was that without boys, their daughter would be able to learn a lot better, for all boys did, said their parents, was cause trouble. Which was why Erica was confused to see a boy walking around in the school car park, the emblem on his tie definitely upon a double take that of Rubinelle. He couldn't just be a relative of someone here.

Her head tilted on the side in curiosity, before the girl began to amble over to him, her eyes still fixed on his tie. Yep, that was definitely the Rubinelle insignia. And looking at him now close up he couldn't be a teacher. He was around the same age of her, which meant he must be... "Hi", the girl piped up, "are you new here? I didn't know they let boys go to this school." Realising her last remark may have been a little harsh, she looked sheepishly down at the ground, before extending her spare hand to him, the one that was not holding her luggage, "my name is Erica", she told him, "what's yours?"

As she waited for him to reply, her blue eyes looked around herself, around the grounds. Were there other boys here too? or was he the only one? A special exception? Maybe he was on witness protection or something? Her mind brimmed with zany possibilities.

KIRA TAKAMOTO

User Image

Kira yawned softly as he slowly made his way to the front gate of Rubinelle Highschool. His ear-piece was still in his ear as he heard his father congratulating him and wishing him luck. Kira had his arms folded behind his head and his eyes were closed. "Yes, sir. I understand. I won't let you down. I never do, sir. Alright. Goodbye, sir." He said and clicked the side of the ear-piece turning it off. He yawned once more and slowly opened his eyes, looking down at his own appearence. His shirt was unbuttoned, his tie was loose and flapping around on each side of his neck.

"We have to wear something like this? I suppose with this being an all-girls school it is to be expected..." He whispered to himself and then stopped at his words. All...girls..school.. He thought as beads of sweat formed his forehead. He felt his hands become sweaty and he wiped the the palms of his hands on his pants leg. His heartbeat had picked up and he shook his head slowly. What have I gotten myself into? He thought to himself and looked up noticing August and a female, probably a girl that goes to school here judging from her uniform.

He shrugged slowly and sighed, either way he wanted to avoid meeting her. He knew he could not avoid the girls for long but he wanted to try, for now anyways. He sighed and shrugged his shoulders, his pack weighing on his back and frowned. What kind of mission was this? Why must they attend an all-girls school? And why attend school anyways? None of this made any sense to him. That might be why he isn't in command of the army then. He looked up, nearing August and Erica and slowly slunk down, trying to sneak by them both without being seen.

August took a quick glance at his watch, catching sight of a second pilot as he drew back the sleeve of his coat. Although Kira was another pilot like himself, August had rarely seen him around the base. His late night training only involved his commander and himself, and Kira was a person that kept mostly to himself in the first place.

"I'm glad to see I'm not going in alone...", August told himself, his voice like silver; like the soft breeze on a winter day. He hadn't been to school in a long time since the military got their hands on him: it'd been three years since August had attended any school. But here he was, at Rubinelle High School; the discreet, well-hidden school for girls. Unlike the military, there was no induction training for Rubinelle High. He was on his own, left to fend for himself on the battlefield, with predators hunting him around each turn and-

'It can't be that bad, can it?', August mused, but before he could answer himself, a 'predator' brought him back to reality. The dark-haired teen turned toward the girl beside him, hearing her nervous greeting. Torn away from his nightmarish imagination, he took a subtle glance up and down her body before smiling appreciatively. She was very slender with long, bright hair and a peculiar look about her face. That was how girls dressed outside the military, he guessed. He was used to seeing women in stiff, tailored military uniforms; the way that Erica appeared before him was far easier on the eyes.

"Hey", August replied to her, taking a few steps closer to her as he took her hand. "I'm August and I'm one of the new students here at Rubinelle's All Girls High". The statement at first would probably sound ludicrous, if not laughable. August wasn't expecting much of a welcoming greeting in the first place, but he had a surefire way to earn the students' aproval.

"Look, here's my Student I.D to prove it!". He reached into his trouser pocket, feeling for the small laminated piece of card. "Huh...it's not in that pocket", he murmured, his fingers slipping into the pocket of the other side of his trousers. His hand rummaged around to no avail. "Maybe it's...uh..", he began, biting his lower lip in anticipation as he patted his shirt pocket underneath his overcoat. Nothing. Giving a half hearted chuckle as he looked back to Erica, whilst trying to think back to where he could have left it. He was sure he had it on him when he left. Did he drop it on the way?

Before the boy replied to her comment, he seemed to address someone behind them. Erica turned to see who it was, and became surprised all the more. Another boy! Here! Well, that was the witness protection idea gone, unless this guy needed protection too? Or he was some undercover guard for him? Nothing like this had ever happened before.

Her attention was brought back to the black haired boy in front of her after her took her hand she had left outstretched, and shook it gently, and gave his introduction. So he was a student here at the very least! And by the looks of things, his friend probably was, too. Erica watched him with rather a confused face, as he delved into his pocket, trying to find his student card. If he felt he needed to prove himself that much, then he must be serious about things…

”They can make you a new one in the resources department”, the girl suggested, ”they do cost though.” Erica seemed to think for a moment, although the thought escaped her, something about spies, although her imagination was always so far fetched. However, she soon forgot it. Witness protection was more feasible. Yeah, witness protection scheme… that had to be it.

”Do you want to go inside?” she asked him, already beginning to pull her luggage in the right direction of the school’s main entrance, ”I find it is best to find your room and get unpacked before the rush.”
