It's good to have allies, but atomic energies for peace? And for peace on Gaia at that?

nuclear weapons are destructive but it ended world war two and prevented a larger loss of life. The japanese would have fought to the death and that would have led to a disasterous loss of life. therefore nuclear weapons saved lives in the long run. granted nuclear energy can be used for devastating attacks, but it can also be used as a renewable energy source

But the use of nuclear energy on Gaia? It's preposterous. Granted it can be used for peace in long runs but not in short which is more practical on Gaia.

The power is good, weapons are not, while it did end WWII it started the cold war, and with what happened with the Novus Navy not too long ago we have signed an anti-nuclear proliferation pact with other nations of gaia, while we have agreed we will keep what we had before it is all dismantled and stored in places scattered all over the world. I am not sure if we should let them in or not, i am neutral.

first off, what happened with the novus navy
second off, yes it did cause the cold war, but it lead to the developments that we enjoy today and I honestly have little opinion on the use of nuclear weapons, I'm rather cold when it comes to that
