Open RP Event!!
This event is currently: CLOSED After our first event, Kosmos is ready for more! Now what we have more Streya puts running around, let's have those new pets have some RP time! Perhaps you all might find something more to it than just RP~! Who is to know, right? So! What better way to encourage some RP time than with an RP event~? Please pay attention to all of the rules and guidelines below before making a post.
If you have any questions with the nature of this event, feel free to make your comments in either brackets [[ insert out of rp comment ]] or parenthesis (( like this, so we won't disrupt the flow of the story! )). Or you can post in the shop thread and either F a l l a c y and SerenAur will address it.
Guidelines:
- The main point is to follow the story prompt provided and RP with your fellow Streya owners
- Please encourage as much RP as possible with your pets
- You are free to RP more than one of your pets (new or old lines, there is no matter)
- When asked to describe an unknown streya pet, let your imagination run wild! But please only say one or two features of the Streya
- Let others build on your idea
- At the end of the event, the described pets will be made into real pets!
Rules
- All RP rules in the main shop post applies here.
- Keep it fair and clean, PG 13 and not too heavy on the cussing.
- Do NOT include massive edits or anything too drastic when describing the pet. Talk about the hair color rather than how they have a third arm or something of the nature.
You must have at least one pet to enter. If you obtain a pet after the RP event has started, feel free to join in the RP and have a chance to win a Streya too!

Here is the beginning RP Prompt:
It is a peaceful sunny day and all the Streya are running about, merrily enjoying their day. Rumors started to have spread about a strange gathering going on in the forest. This appears intriguing to you, and you decide to go check it out with your Streya pets tagging along. Slowly you approach down the dirt path and suddenly you find other caretakers and their Streya there! Everybody seems confused with the situation. Describe your reaction and interact with the people present.

Acy was wandering down the path that was kissed by silence. Nothing stirred, not even the wind. It was eerie and sort of depressing. A sigh escaped her lips as she stuffed her hands into her jacket's pockets.
"You know Ash, I'm starting to think these rumors are nothing more than a hoax."
Ash was probably Acy's most beloved Streya who could always be found near her. He had a hand on his hip as he walked and gazed around hoping to find something - anything - in this silly place. "It could be a trap." He mused. "We'll get ambushed and killed~ Doesn't that sound fun?" He flashed a grin up at his owner and soon laughed. "I'm kidding!"
Acy froze a bit but soon sighed. "Ash, that's not funny. I'll tell you one thing though." She paused which caused her Streya companion to tilt his head in question. "There is some truth to the rumors. Nothing's here."

"Shut it!" Seren scolded as Jade smirked knowingly, pushing his glasses up and walked along her side, saying nothing more.
"You're so twisted, Jade... Now I really hope there's nothing here, or I'll flip out with all of your zombie/corpse/gore stories." The caretaker said as she frowned at her companion and looked around just to see that there really was nothing around them.
Kratos, a newly arrived streya, had accompanied them but had remained silent for most of the trek. He usually was the quiet one and only made a comment here and there. Something very objective too like "How far are we from the edge of the forest?" to "Watch your step, the ground is uneven." But other than that, he did not join in much of the conversation.
One more steya seemed to follow Seren's entourage which was the warm hearted Gavine. The cold, icy streya decided to follow the others in hope of meet who ever started the gathering. Interested in new streya, Gavine joined more for the "ride" than anything else. Although, the "ride" had not been any enjoyable due to Jade's sick horror stories, something Gavine is not a fan of.
"Ah well~ The possibilities of it happening are not likely. Although not impossible. We should rest assured~" Jade said simply and started to laugh.
Seren simply rolled her eyes and ignored him as she looked around and noticed someone far off in the distance. She looked familiar and could be the one and only Acy.
"Acccyyy!" Seren called out to make sure it was her and what seems to be Ash accompanying her.

Mochi walked along the path with Miyori, her very first streya friend and also her most adored.
"Miss Mochi? Do you think that anything will be here? It's all so quiet....."
Mochi laughed. "I'm sure that we'll find something worth-while here, Miyo. We always have a good time! "
As they walked, they heard the voices of what seemed to be their friends, Acy and Seren. Mochi took hold of Miyori's hand so that she would not get left behind and hurried towards the voices.
"Hey guys! Fancy meeting you here!" Mochi greeted the other two humans while Miyori simply bowed to them and the other streya there. "H-hello. Nice to meet you."

"We're lost, I should've known better than to follow you." A sigh escaped the female caretaker as she sat down on the dirty path gathering the other streya (an utterly clueless looking blonde who was content to be carried) into her lap, in front of her a penguin colored streya peered about looking extremely amused. Not an hour ago the two streya and their owner had heard commotion coming from the gathering and had decided to go. Emperor had claimed he knew where he was going and LK decided to let him lead... bad idea.
"Well Alistair wouldn't have been any better! We'd be lost, without our pants!" Emperor snapped before moving to watch a bug crawl up a tree. "ooo!" He cooed as he poked at the bug, frowning when it hurried on up the branch leaving him all alone to whatever musing was going on in his head.
"He~ey, I can show people the way, I just don't like leading." Alistair huffed, pouting at the other when he noticed Emperor wasn't paying them any sort of attention. He crossed his arms over his chest as Emperor turned back around and scurried up onto LK's shoulder. "So what are we going to do?"
"Well, I'm going to try to salvage this situation." LK murmured as Emperor squawked out a giggle, the girl always walked quickly so it made for a fun ride to perch on her shoulder. They would find their way in no time, she could hear others talking in the distance. "crazystreyadon'texistpfft."
"Heh, she called you crazy Alistiar!"
"I don't think it was me she was referring to."

"Are we there yet?" A small star looked up at his caretaker. "we've been walking for a long time mommy." He lowered his eyes to the ground counting his little steps as he and his caretaker walked.
"Nolan, we haven't been walking that long." Ash smiled down at the little star, reaching out with both of her hands to him. "But I'll hold you, since you're light and it will keep you from complaining." She smiled as he jumped into her arms. "Now what were you trying to show me?"
Nolan snuggled closer to Ash, "I've heard that there's something around here somewhere mommy." He began to close his eyes as they walked. "Hey! Don't fall asleep on me!" She pinched his cheek, rousing him.
"Sorry..." He sat up in her arms. "I think we are close~" Nolan wiggled in her arms, eager to see the crowed that had just appeared on the horizon. "I wounder what this is all about..." Ash warily approached them, staying in the back, trying to hear what everyone was talking about.

Acy hear voices and tensed immediately. She sighed a breath of relief as she noticed it was friends of hers and not enemies. Turning to welcome the small gathering that had arrived she bowed politely. "Hey there everyone."
Ash mimicked Acy's bow, bowing to the other streya. "So good of you to make it~ This will defiantly make the events to play all the more interesting." A sly smirk tugged at his lips.
Rolling her eyes at Ash's remark, Acy continued. "As all of you have heard, I'm sure, there have been strange sightings in the forest as well as events that relate to these sightings. Things have gone missing and randomly appear a few days later somewhere else. Many animals have fled the area as well. Also some Streya have come back complaining they felt as if they were being stalked. By what? They aren't too sure but they don't think it's friendly."
"Personally if you ask me it's probably misunderstood. Just trying to get attention." Ash cut in, fixing his hair. All he received from his owner was a raised eyebrow and a murmured "You'd know all about that." It was true. After all he did burn large areas just for the attention and to appease boredom.
"Have you guys heard anything else?" Acy asked as she crossed her arms.

Miyori shook her head. "No. I haven't really heard much other than that....Aru provoked me into checking this place out, actually," she murmured, refering to the haloweenish streya that was her friend and also live with her and Mochi. Mochi grinned. "I was excited when Aru was talking about this place. There always seems to be some sort of fun thing to do when rumors fly like this!" The girl punched her fist into the air in excitement. Although she was a senior in high school, she still acted slightly childish at times, making her streya companion, Miyori, sigh and shake her head at her.

Recap of what was said in thread - ((I think we've waited long enough for people to join in the RP event. You can still join in if you want but I'm not going to wait around for replies much longer. You get about two days or so to reply to my questions regarding the Streya's appearance. If no one replies I will simply make something up. If no one replies at all then there will be no Streya to give out, simple? Kay 8'D!))Acy nodded a bit. "I see. Well... come along everyone." She began to head down the pathway leading the small group of people deeper into the forest. She had traveled it a few times so she was sure they wouldn't get lost. Ash however had a better mind to wait for everyone's return as his laziness was kicking in but he reluctantly followed along.
"Well as if this isn't a waste of time..." Ash mumbled under his breath.
"Ash behave please..." Acy sighed then laughed a bit. "So..." She looked over her shoulder back at everyone. "What color do you think this thing is?"

"What in the world is going on up there?" Alma said softly, quirking her eyebrow as she peered from where she was leaning against a tree, her hat blocking her eyes initially. Drake took a bit of pity on her and reached forward to nudge it away from her gaze, and she grinned at him and patted him on the head affectionately before following the group of people once more. "Any ideas, Drake?"
The small blue Streya peered toward them as well, tilting his head strongly to the side before he shrugged lightly. "Heck if I know. Wanna go check it out?"
It was still a rather strange bond between the two, to be sure, given that they were still feeling each other out. Alma was rather new to the area, and she'd only been taking care of Drake for a few days, if that. Unlike most of the caretakers she'd seen, though not spoken to, who had seemed to have a strong, almost unbreakable bond with their Streya, she was still entirely unsure about how to interact with Drake. He seemed to be much the same way, going so far as to refusing to speak up about where he had been before Alma came across his unconscious frame on the side of a street and had taken him home to care for him. Fair enough. She knew he would talk to her when he wished.
"Totally." Alma grinned widely and scooped Drake up in her arms, placing him carefully on her shoulder shortly after. He fit quite nicely, though it did look a little strange given that Alma was only around five feet and an inch or two tall. "Hey, wait up!" she called to the little traveling group of people, jogging after them so that they didn't have to slow down and wait for her.
She arrived within hearing distance just as one of the individuals spoke, asking about the color of something. It took only a moment before Alma's eyes grew wide and her lips parted in thought. "Ohh...dude, are you talking about that rumor floating around?" A grin instantly lit her pale face and she nodded quickly, which unsettled Drake for a moment. She reached up carefully, holding him safely on her shoulder once more, before she piped up once again. "Y'know, I've been listening in on all the people going past, and I think they said that it was some weird dark orange color or something like that. Dunno if they can be trusted, though."

Mochi looked thoughtful. "Yes. I think it was orange and gold maybe? Right, Miyori?" she asked the streya standing next to her. The starry, painting-like streya nodded. "That sounds about right, Miss Mochi. I hope we see it today. Then we could tell Aru about it. I'm sure that he's wondering what we're doing. Alexander, Ange, and Lunic as well. I bet they're very curious." Mochi nodded and laughed a little, petting Miyori on the head affectionately. Of course it would be natural for Miyo to worry about the others, especially her two children, Ange and Lunic. The other two were males that Mochi had picked up along the way; new friends that she readily accpeted, that they both accepted. It seemed taht the more streya friends that they made, the more happy that they all became and the more they felt that they had a family.

Acy glanced at the newcomer for just a moment before chuckling. "Orange with some gold?" She accounted for both versions, nodding. "It could just be the sun playing tricks on people's eyes. Or maybe this thing has markings? What do you guys think?"
Ash was lost in his own little world glancing down at his nails, absolutely devastated to find that there was a chip in the polish. "A-Acy!" He frowned. "My nail is chipped!"
Acy couldn't help but stop for a moment and stare at Ash in disbelief. "...I'm a girl... and I don't even care about my nails that much Ash..." She sighed and scooped up the fire-tailed male, holding him close like a teddy bear. "We'll fix it when we get home. This is a bit more important... just a bit... than your nail crisis." Of course the whole thing was more important than chipped nail polish but Acy had to fib a little bit to make Ash feel better.
Ash sighed a bit and continued to stare at his nail, it bugged him to no end. "Maybe this thing has scales like a fish that shine in the sun to give off different colors?"

Acy had noticed the silence of the group and ponders on what it was that had caught their attention. Upon further observation she had noticed Ash stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes fixated on a certain being before them.
It was the Streya! There it was in all of its orange glory with specks of gold decorating it's fur. But what was this? There was another! A twin perhaps? Of the same design...
"How strange..." Acy mumbled under her breath. Slowly she stepped closer and noticed the Streya did not run but welcomed them instead.
The rumors were nothing more than twins playing tricks on people. How silly!

Sorry to end it so abruptly but it is still clear to me we need more active RPers before we do an event like this. >x>; Unless if everyone just forgot about it uxu;
I will award Strawberry_Mochi and Alma Del Core the twins since they were the only ones who even replied to my questions o3o
