Decided to make a thread for my drawings here. I won't call it art, 'cause that's blasphemous. :]
This is just a showcase.
No critiques, plz, I know every single thing that's wrong with some of these.

I wouldn't have titled this "junk", this is definitely art- and very good too! I tried using Oekeki once before and just couldn't get the hang of it. I can use cheap MSPaint (with patience), and the newest updated Photoshop, both to my advantage, but Oekeki is almost like it's balanced in between somewhere when it comes to it's basic functions and I could never get it to turn out how I intended it to. rolleyes

It's neat and nostalgic to see your oekakis again. I think we haven't played with that program for about... two years now. xd Think you'll pick it up again once you get a new tablet?

I like your arts by the way... It's nice to see the "Puppeh Ninja" one again.

Thanks! These are really old, though, and I think they look kinda crappy now haha. I was like... 17-18 when I did these. O_o
I can't draw in MS Paint to save my life, so kudos heh. I couldn't even oekaki outside of PaintBBS, but it was fun. Shame the old board I ran had to get shut down. crying

Welcome and darn, I hope you'll be able to make another oekaki someday. 3nodding

Also... cute recent additions. ;.; Really pretty and shows off your skill/style. For some reason, I don't get tired of the Wolf/Crusader one. Lail is sexy but... but... nothing quite beats the cute ice cream-eating chibi. :O I want to pet your hair.

Good job, my dear...

... I wish I had your pencil control.

I wish I knew how to explain how I do what I do, I'd be happy to help you out.

Lawl... I'm slowly getting the hang of it but my lines STILL depend on the type of barrel/lead I use. Still jealous of how you do hair too, btw. 3nodding It's nice to see your art style stabilize a little, though. I remember you'd have a different style every week or something. XD

I still like 0.7mm best, since the lead is softer. Of course that means more smudging, but... neutral I dunno. I feel like it's easier to control the weight.

I dunno... I can't remember which one's the thinner one - 0.7mm or 0.5mm. Since I can't produce nice, soft lines, I prefer trying for the kind of sharp, thin, light lines. Pencil weight does have a lot to do with my lack of control, though. sweatdrop

0.5mm has a firmer lead, iirc. All the pencils I have are definitely 0.7mm xD But I'm not sure, I haven't touched 0.5mm in forever.

Also No.2 all the way! surprised
