Since many of you guys play instruments... I was wondering if any of you are/was in a marching band.
If so, what do/did you play/do in marching band??
What were you're favorite halftime/parade songs you performed???
I'm in the marching band at my school and I have to say that I absolutely love it!! ♥ I wouldn't give up marching band for the world. I play trumpet in my band, but this year I'm hoping to make drum major!! I tried out last year, but didn't make it but i'm hoping I do this year! My band does a different half time show every year. We've done, The Eagles, The Beatles, Bon Jovi, and most recently we did A Salute to Mama's theme.... weird I know. lol

Well, my sister is in a marching band, and she always talks about how the band director tells them to stay still and that they look like robots. But with the TRUMPET section, he especially yells @ them because they move around like trees in the wind. Or at least, that's what he describes them as. ._.

My school doesn't have a marching band. I think it's a more American thing. I'm sure there are marching bands in Canada, but I've never seen one. Not a high-school one, anyway...

I finished my first season of Marching band...it was actually fun smile Our halftime show songs were by Journey:
Anyway You Want It
Open Arms
Don't Stop Believing
Band camp for me starts in the first 2 weeks of August... wooo. XD

Crazy_Cassidy15 I finished my first season of Marching band...it was actually fun smile Our halftime show songs were by Journey: Anyway You Want It Open Arms Don't Stop Believing Band camp for me starts in the first 2 weeks of August... wooo. XD Wow.. my marching band did the exact same songs last season!!! biggrin It was by far the best (and most fun) halftime show we've ever done.
