This could end up a rant but lets see where this goes. xp Yes it was acknowledged briefly a few times throughout, and I was disgusted, once during the opening song at the beginning, and in the horror movie tribute montage. Now I'm not into horror movies but there is nothing scary about Twilight or New Moon except for how many dopes actually think this stuff is good, support it and stuff like that. It definitely doesn't stack up with movies like The Exorcist, Friday the 13th, Child's Play etc... Also Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were presenters for one of the awards I believe. Taylor wasn't too bad actually but listening to Kristen talk just screamed monotone nitwit. Come on this is the Oscars, it's supposed to reward tasteful movies that have actual effort put into them, that tell an entertaining story. Ugh this series needs to die and never be mentioned again.

I missed the awards this year. I had really wanted to see them, because I love Neil Patrick Harris. You make it sound like it was worth missing.

It was half decent if you don't factor in Twilight being there. Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin did a better job of hosting then I thought they would. o.O I almost didn't watch it because of them. But it would have bugged me if I didn't watch it.
