It had been a while since Dominique and Isztivan’s first mission. It had done well, in a sense; no one was hurt, though Dom did pass out at the sight of all the blood, some of which ended up on him. In general, Dominique wasn’t in the best of moods since and generally being more of a recluse than usual, he was still mad at Isztivan, and he was well aware and doing what he could to try and make up for it.
Though his idea to give Dominique a love potion in the hopes it’d get his confidence up might be a little misguided, but all his encouragement had failed to help Dom out of his shell.
Since Dom did all the cooking in the house it’d be impossible for Isztivan to give it to him secretly here, it’d have to be in the cafeteria at Shibusen. The potion tasted naturally sweet, once Dom had finished his meal Isztivan would give him a desert, he’d never know.
Dominique was finishing up in the cafeteria after class, he had time to study before next he thought. Well that was the plan until Isztivan arrived a bit late and offered in a strawberry ice-cream. Isztivan knew full well, even if Dom was mad at him, he was too polite to turn him down.
“Here you go Dom, I got and extra one for you”
“Th-thanks...”
Dominique had no way of knowing the extra sweet taste of the ice-cream was from the potion.

Ah what a day! Annabelle, the resident double sided scythe, smiled as she entered the cafeteria in her usual black robe and pair of jeans sticking out the bottom. She was ever so excited, her first mission had be a rousing success! She was beyond proud of it!
One worker kindly asked her to at least remove her hood when she was in the cafeteria. She giggled and nodded, the woman always hated people wearing hats or, in her case, robes, into her cafeteria.
Her long platinum blonde hair flowed around her shoulders as she looked over the menu with her lovely blue eyes. After taking some french fries and chicken nuggets she also got some milk and a small ice cream cup. Now to find a place to sit.
She looked around and headed for an empty table. Normally she'd eat with Wendell but her technician had demanded quiet time after their training to practice his music.

Dominique felt odd for a moment, his head sort of fuzzy. He wasn’t sure why but after eating some of the ice-cream it was having a strange relaxing effect on him. Sitting across from him Isztivan watched, doing his best to stop himself from grinning from ear to ear as he was already seeing the potions effects. Dom hadn’t eaten all of it just yet, and without his eyes falling on someone else other than Isztivan its final effect wouldn’t kick in. The main part Isztivan was getting giddy over was the prospect of Dominique personality changing, albeit just for a while.
He nearly jumped in excitement as Dom looked up at the girl who just entered, great timing, he recognised Annabelle from the Halloween party, if there was someone who’d get Dom out of his shell it’d be her. Isztivan could help but smile as he looked at Dom, whose gaze was now locked onto Annabelle.
“Annabelle’s really pretty huh?” Isztivan gave Dom a nudge.
“Aw, si jolie, elle est belle” He half muttered to himself, his face stuck in an expression of dreamy wonder as he continued eating what was left of the sweet tasting ice-cream. The potion doing its work, filling his head of thoughts of Annabelle, making it impossible to focus on anything else.
“Annabelle, there’s space here!” Dom called out as he patted the seat next to him. Isztivan was amazed, Dom would’ve never asked a girl to sit next to him, this was going to be fun.

Annabelle heard her name and looked over, her platinum hair flowing around her shoulders, to see Ivan and Dom. She smiled brightly and walked over to the pair. Placing her tray down she took the seat next to Dom. "Ah thank you! Its never fun to eat by yourself!"
She popped a chicken nugget into her mouth and chewed before taking a swig of milk. Ah that was tasty! She needed that! She turned to look at the boy next to her, not at all surprised at his friendly attitude. He must be in a happy mood! "So how are you today Dominique? Have you two been enjoying classes today?"
She continued to eat her chicken nuggets, keeping her attention on the tech and weapon. She had always thought Dom was kinda neat, being a ninja star and all. That was just cool!

Dom was still maintaining his dreamy spaced out smile as he watched Annabelle walk and take her seat next to him. He felt a jolt to excitement go through him; she’d decided to sit next to him! She liked him back!
“Oh, of course it isn’t, no fun at all...” Dom was putting on a flirty demeanour no one had ever seen before. His gaze was still fixed on Annabelle, as if eating chick nuggets could be that thrilling.
“Yep, of course we are” Dom didn’t looked back to confirm with Isztivan, he was too busy sharing a warm smile seldom seen from him. “Et vous?”
Isztivan watched, trying to focus on his meal and keep himself from splitting his sides his laugher. Seeing Dom act like this was too much for him, that and now Dom was putting a great deal more emphasis on his French accent than he ever would have in normal conversation.

((ok it's a free translator, lets hope it works))
"Je les apprécie," she smiled to him. Annabelle did know a few other languages, mostly European ones. Her mother had insisted on French because it was more of lady's proper language. She would never understand how it was proper for a lady to speak a certain language but her mother would not be swayed.
She hardly noticed his change in demeanor. Also she didn't notice the flirting. Boys were always just "really nice" to her. Isztivan seemed to be enjoying himself, as if he couldn't help but smile. That was so nice! The boys must be having a good day.
"Have you been feeling better after your mission, Dominique? The first can be hard. But maybe the next one we can work together on! I've seen a few missions that require two teams! Then you can see how me and Wendell fight!" she beamed at him. She loved to battle and she wondered how a scythe and a ninja star would do as a team.

Dominique half giggled to himself, it was wonderful to know Annabelle knew how to speak French as well. Try as he might, Isztivan had been hopeless learning the language from him despite living together. He thought it’d be useful, they could talk without him knowing and keep things private. He was getting ahead of himself.
Maybe it was still the potions effect, but Dominique was equally oblivious, something told him that Annabelle was happy, so he didn’t think much else mattered. Even if she was naturally like this and it had nothing to do with his flirting.
The trauma he had suffered went completely out of his head as he spoke, conveniently he forgot the little fact that he had passed out at the sight of so much blood.
“It’s been great...that soul was sort of odd though” That was an outright lie. Isztivan stayed quiet, no point ruining Doms fun.
“Aww, that’d be fun, the two of us. I haven’t really met Wendell, maybe he and Isztivan could get along...” He continued, still beaming himself, hoping he was getting the message across of a double date, and now picturing what Annabelle’s weapon form might look like and finding himself equally attached to it as well. Love potions probably didn’t take into account weapon blood.

"Oh Wendell is easy enough to get along with! He just puts on this big 'i'm an emo boy' front most of the time. I don't see why Isztivan and him wouldn't get along," she smiled. Ok she sooooo didn't not get the date idea. Everything was always in the terms of friendship. Dom was going to have to be a bit more forward to get the girl to agree to a real date. She turned to Dom's partner.
"You are quiet, Iszty. But you have such a big smile I guess it's just been that good of a day! That's always nice!" a giggle escaped her. She usually ended up giving people nicknames, even if they didn't always sound normal to other people. It was just how she was.
"You know I never have gotten to know either of you. I always like learning more about people! So how did you two meet?" she popped another chicken nugget.

Isztivan giggled a bit under his breath, the idea that Dom was now trying to set him up with an emo guy. Admittedly, he sort of swung that way, but the way Annabelle described Wendell, probably not the guy for him. Still, if they managed to get a double date it’d make things easier for him to keep Dom talking during his own side of the date.
“Oh, err yeah” He was talked a bit off guard, of course, Isztivan wasn’t about to explain what was so funny to him. Iszty? Well that wasn’t far off from Izzy, he was more used to that, guess it didn’t matter.
Isztivan was a bit concerned now, Annabelle wasn’t getting the message and now her attention was turned to him, he’d have to get her back to focus on Dom. “...it’s been a good day.” He shrugged, trying to be as boring as he could.
“One of the Partnering up parties they throw at the start of the school year” Dom said as he gave a nod. Again, Dom conveniently forgot how miserable he’d been up to that point and how he had been sulking in the corner until Isztivan spoke to him that time.

"Oh really? That's neat! Wendell and I met as kids actually! Our families work in similar businesses so we were bound to run into each other. But once we got here we got paired up! It was really neat!" she was more than proud of her own story of meeting her partner. So few partners knew each other before the pairing so it always made things awkward. But she and Wendell already had an idea of what the other was about so it made the transition much easier.
"So what are your plans for today Dom? Are you and Iszty going to practice or just hang out? Wendell didn't want to practice today, said something about his muse hammering his head to create the darkness of reality into the written word. Or something like that," she giggled again. She would never understand Wendell's need to write poetry. She could barely recite Mary Had A Little Lamb.
"I wanted to talk a walk through a few yards, maybe put out some flowers or ribbons," she of course forgot to mention she meant GRAVEyards. Annabelle was a constant believer than the dead appreciated being remembered and their lives celebrated for all the good they did.

“I know! It would have been great if me and Isztivan had none each other before, but no one I know could be a Tech, or anything. Being a weapon was kind of a surprise to me actually.” He continued beaming. “Oh business? What’s that? “ He asked genuinely curious.
Isztivan nearly burst into another fit of laughter, the way if Wendell really did say that he sure was dedicated to being emo. But that was the way he just saw it, Isztivan was way too laid back and relaxed to be really be dedicated to anything. Something that was still causing friction between him and Dominique’s workaholic nature.
Dominique continued to ignore his partner and focus on Annabelle. “Practice? Non, we didn’t really have much to do today” Admittedly he had been planning on study today, he and Isztivan hadn’t really done any combat practice for a long time, and their wavelengths weren’t really meshing well right now. “Aww, that’s a shame, he doesn’t need to be alone, we could have all hung out together.”
Isztivan stifled another laugh, only a few minutes ago Dom was planning a detailed study program, if this kept up he’d have to buy more Love potions if it got him out of work.
“Me and Iszty could come with, it’d be fun, c'est une belle journée aujourd'hui”

"Well, Wendell's family runs the local mortuary! His family has been in the business since his great-grandfather back in Sweden! My family deals in land, with one member of the family running the graveyards. That's my dad's business! We own over half of them in the city and surrounding areas. So our businesses kinda merge," she giggled a bit at the idea. It was amusing to her at least.
"Ah well if you weren't doing anything lets go to the yards! It is a lovely day and they will be so happy to have some decoration!" she hopped up, popping the last chicken nugget into her mouth and putting her dishes away. She smiled at the two as they walked out of the cafeteria and to her locker. There she retrieved her backpack and another bag filled with little glow sticks and cloth flowers.
"Ok! Lets go!" she walked out of the school and down the street. The sunlight only made her white hair glow with a soft yellow hue, like golden silk. She walked next to Dom, not wanting lead the pack so to speak. "I'm glad you two wanted to come with me, normally people think it is so weird but I think its a good thing."

“Oh really that’s interesting” Somehow no part of that seems morbid to Dominique. “I mean, I’m just a baker, it’s not really much to do with this sort of stuff...” For a brief moment Doms usual meek self remerged.
“Sure thing!” Dom jumped up and followed suit, feeling hugely ecstatic now over something that would have never made his feel so happy otherwise. “You coming Iszty?” A little smug smile on his face, he rather liked the nickname aswell.
“Er...yeah” Dom was teasing him now? Isztivan followed behind, so that Dom and Anna where in front of him, still he didn’t want to miss the rest of this, it was too much fun. His sides still hurt from holding his laughs in.
Dom would have loved to hold hands with Annabelle, though even in his love sick state he realised that’d be a bit forward, for how he was more than content to admire her hair in the sunlight.
“Weird, why would it be weird? Of course flowers and ribbons are good things” He giggled. Even if he did know what Annabelle meant, he’d still say that, everything about her was mesmerising to him.

"Well most people associate the yard with something sad or mournful. But I've always thought it was a place more filled with life than anywhere. Each person has their own story, lead a different life, and have living descendants that carry their life in their minds and hearts," she almost looked a little distant as she talked. This was always so very dear to her, not to forget those who were gone. They couldn't help the fact they were gone, so someone should remember them, even if it was just her.
Finally they arrived at a large graveyard filled with all sorts of headstones. She walked down the path towards a smaller area, one that seemed put aside and out of the way. There she set her bag down and began to take out ribbons if different colors and small toys like you find at the dollar store.
"This place is for children, children who were orphans. They didn't have parents so they never had a last name or anything. So they are all buried here. But I don't want them to feel no one remembers them just because of that, so I bring the girls ribbons and the boys little toys," she smiled as she began to walk to each grave, kneeling respectfully, and making bows on a few of the girl's graves. She stopped to look at them.
"You know, as weapons and techs we always hunt bad souls. Its hard to remember there are good souls too. And I never want to forget that. That there are good souls, souls that just want to be remembered no matter how long their life was," she placed a small truck next the grave of a boy named Marcus.

“Aww, I don’t see why not then” Dominique still hadn’t figured it out until they arrived at the gate. Dom would have normally reacted the same way Isztivan was behind them, a more than a little creeped out by all this. Leaving gifts behind certainly wasn’t the first thing that came to mind either.
Though Dom was reacting in his stride, still infatuated with anything involving Annabelle he smiled and followed along listening intently. He nodded a few times he followed Anna, not sure if he should follow suit and kneel as well. “You’re really right Anna, I...I wouldn’t want to be forgotten either...” He stifled a few tears.
It was probably the potion again that Dom was feeling so empathetic towards Annabelle and her cause, it nearly brought tears to his eyes how emotional he was getting. She was so right, it was the least they could do.
“You’re so kind and thoughtful...” In his slightly moved state he hugged Annabelle, burying his face against her neck. “...I’m sure they love you for...for it”
As Isztivan watched the pair, at first he couldn’t help but feel Dom had ended up falling in love with the weirdest girl possible. What kind of girl walked around out in graveyards for fun? But listening to Annabelle he couldn’t help but feel his soft spot had been hit, she was right about a lot of things she said. Still, he hung back, he didn’t want to be their third wheel, but he couldn’t just disappear just yet either.
