Experimental Creatures; (creatures that are man-made)
Name: Fluffies Type: Experimental, mammalian. Closest relative: rabbits. Feeding habits: Omnivores, more tending toward carnivores. Area found in: Psycho's laboratory, the grounds. Facts: The Fluffies were created by Prof. Psycho and her aid, but this doesn't mean that they're necessarily nice beasts. In fact, Psycho created them with the intent of releasing them on the students but now uses them for security instead. They love raw meat and will scavenge carcasses as well as swarm and attack when they smell blood or raw meat.

Mythical; Devalpa
A strange creature that will wait by the side of a road and trick passersby into letting it onto their shoulders by faking fatigue and demanding a ride. The most famous instance of devalpa ensnarement comes from the tale of Sinbad the sailor.
Once shipwrecked, Sinbad became aware he was not the only castaway having landed in this spot. The devalpa, seeming to all the world as a kindly and exhausted old man, asked for a ride across a brook. However, once upon the sailors shoulders, the devalpa's legs became snake-like and constricting, threatening to cut of Sinbad's air supply. He was given the choice to work for the creature as its mount or choke to death. The binding legs never once weakened their grip until Sinbad had gotten the old man drunk. It was then that he could tare the fiend away and dash its brains out with a rock.
Thus this creature's primary mode of life would seem to be a burdensome symbiotic relationship. In return for keeping its captive alive the devalpa gets transport and extra height of which to pick fruit from trees. There are only two around the campus grounds. ~ groil A groil is a dog like animal born from tree sap. They are very powerful creatures that hold very powerful magic. Because of that, they hold the powers of many. Their legs are long logs with a wolf's paw at the end of each. An adult male groil can be up to ten feet tall and weigh about 9,000 pounds. A female groil can be up to 7 feet tall and weighs about 6,000 pounds. Only one romes the outside of the campus. ~ Banshee In Ireland, there is this mythical creature called the Banshee , she is an omen of death and a message for the Underworld. Her name means "fairy of sidhe" or "woman of the fairy mounds. Sidhe can refer to "places of ghostly being" and fairy mounds possible refers to dwelling with the ability to protect the good people from evil. Banshees are also believed by some to be spirts of nature or pre-Christian Gaelic deities. In Theosophy and in Celtic Christian religion, they are commonly called "fallen angels". In English, they are described as a "fairy" or "fairy woman". The Banshee is also said to be tasked with the job of warning warning selected members of ancient Irish families of the time of their death. According to tradition, the banshee was only said to cry for four major families but this list seems to have been extended due to marriage. Apparently in terms of clothing, she either wears a grey, hooded cloak or a grave robe meant for the unshriven dead. Those who where not allowed to find "absolution". Banshee usually come in three of many forms, the first being a young woman, the second being a rich middle-aged lady or matron, and the third being of a fraglie old woman. Another being, the bean-nighe (washing woman), in this form, she is apparently seen washing the bloodstains out of the fated person clothes Rarely seen but heard, her mourning call is often given at night when someone is about to die. In 1437, Scottish King James the I is said to have been approached by one such being. There have been numerous reports of same thing happening to members of the royal court and other high-profile members of Irish society. The quality of her voice varies to region to region. Some describe it as 'low and pleasant' and others as 'a mix of a wail of a woman and a moan of an owl'. Regardless of what the sound is like, the banshee's cry also signals one thing: death. When several banshee appear at once, it is said that a person great or holy has died. Banshee are commonly decipted as having long, fair hair which they comb with a silver comb. If one is to see such a comb, it is suggested not to pick it up or that person might be spirited away. Banshee are fairly popular and enjoy the same status (in Ireland) as leprechauns. One possible origins of the Banshee are keeners. Womam in Ireland that sing songs of lament at funerals. They are ralely or never seen too close to the grounds but you can hear its wails. ~ Ghoul (undead) Able to assume the shape of an animal, ghouls are grave robbers, living off the flesh of the dead. Travelers planning to cross any of the vast deserts or savannahs of North Africa, the Middle East, or Central Asia should be aware that ghouls often entice men off the road and confuse them. Once the men are disoriented, the ghouls proceed to feast on their flesh. I was told when i was young that ghouls are married to the prince of blood, that a man called rupert strooner found ghouls laying over him while he was sitting on his throne holding a smooth stick with a glass ball at the top filled with blood; there was a spike at the top with a demon's head on it. Its face had cut eyes and it had everything sucked out of it. They sent more men to look at what was happening but they have been found with cut eyes, slit throats, and wrists and everything cut off of them. A few at a time can appear around campus but they can be easily killed. ~ Wraiths A Wraith is kind of like the grim reaper but isn't sent by Satan. The Wraith is actually an undead sorcerer or sorceress that failed to become healthy at their deathbed. After the sorcerer or sorceress epically failed to become healthy and alive again with spells and potions, they die and come back to life but as a wraith. They are seen in dark purple robes that are kind of ripped and carry large scythes. Wraiths can be very dangerous even if they were good sorcerers and sorceresses. Once they are brought back to life by their messed up potions, they become corrupted and evil. If a Wraith is powerful enough, they can possess humans. Wraiths will make their home anywhere that's dark and sinister. Rarely a wraith will make their home in a dark basement but if one found its way into your basement, call a priest, bishop, or saint or go down their with a Bible with a lot friends. Once you're down there, gather in a circle and shout, "Dark interloper, leave this holy house! God has found you! Leave or feel the wrath of Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost! Their light will repel you, acolyte of evil!" Then cross yourself and you and your friends will be protected and the Wraith will be defeated. You should also take a wooden cross down there too. They can only enter grounds when there is no protection spells or a portal is summoned. ~ Goblin From their birthplace in France, these nasty, hideous cousins of gnomes have spread all over Europe. When they entered England in ancient times, the Druids called them Robin Goblins, from which the name "hobgoblin" derives.
Goblins have no permanent home, living temporarily in old trees and under moss-covered rocks. Reported to be playful on occasion, goblins are nonetheless to be avoided. A goblin's smile can curdle blood, and its laugh can make milk turn sour. Goblins amuse themselves by hiding things, spilling food, and confusing travelers by changing signposts. Can be commonly seen in the forests at night in the school grounds. ~
