WTF?
I suddenly feel like i'm the only one interested in keeping this forum going.
Granted, there was a stretch that I was housesitting and didn't have internet access where I was staying. So naturally, I realize s**t happens and we can't always be at the computer to keep this alive...
But really? Really?
It appears to me this guild was a standard for status,"Oh, it's hip to be a witch!" You join, you come, you leave, but you never come back...
I don't want that...
Goddess willing you don't either.
Let's come together.

I am still awkward in the Gaia community and have never really looked into to starting a post, but I think this Guild has a lot of potential. I like that personal experience is whats asked for and I am a huge hippie lifestyle kind of person. Our house is always open to others, we do a LOT of artwork, tie dyes included. I wish I could tell you how to get more people involved, when I have something to say, I post! I was beginning to think I shut down a lot of conversations, it seems every time I post here people quit the subject! confused

Love to Paint I am still awkward in the Gaia community and have never really looked into to starting a post, but I think this Guild has a lot of potential. I like that personal experience is whats asked for and I am a huge hippie lifestyle kind of person. Our house is always open to others, we do a LOT of artwork, tie dyes included. I wish I could tell you how to get more people involved, when I have something to say, I post! I was beginning to think I shut down a lot of conversations, it seems every time I post here people quit the subject! confused Aww, see? That's what saddens me. I don't want people to feel awkward here. I want them to feel right at home. I know what it's like to walk into a place with a bunch of people you don't know; you try to socialize and take the edge off but everything you say earns looks that make you feel absolutely ridiculous. Hahaha. sweatdrop You shouldn't have to worry about that though! I know I'm interested in your ways. I'm very a much a hippie myself! Infact I grew up without running water, and the outhouse was my bathroom the longest time! Perhaps try making a few threads in the Green Living thread? Share some of your own tips and tricks to a happy, healthy, hippie life! Or share some of that artwork you do in the Artistic Endeavors thread!

I post actively if a guild interests me with the information I find. You don't have to ever worry about inactivity from me. If I don't like a guild I just leave it. I actually click the button and everything so my name doesn't clutter up your list.
I am a very easy to handle self managing guild member, or at least I try to be. I can't deny my humanity.

Oh sorry, it's just actually I tried to have a job in better place than grand parents town who are boring as hell. So I am not really into witchcraft stuff but more concentrate on what I want and would have in the next 5 years. In France or abroad. What about banners for the guild to draw more people in? Nothing annoyingly persuasive, but just something to let people know that this guild is here and looking for members. (: I could make a few.

I just joined a few days ago and I've come everyday since, but there aren't many new comments to keep talking with. I agree with Love to Paint that I sometimes feel like I kill a conversation. But I try to come up with things to discuss.

i joined about a week and a half ago and i've posted at least 4 times and stared two treads. mrgreen
on the flip side tho i am not nearly as active in the two other guilds i have. I feel like i fit in here more than the others... 3nodding

I actually have a life, a pretty busy life that is.
But I have been here for a few days already and I've been posting around, and I've seen a few people around so far.

I'm sorry I've been away for a while, I'm not in the best of health anymore. While I try to log into Gaia each day I only visit my friend's art shop and I don't even have my own threads anymore. (apart from what's posted in the guilds)
This guild is in competition with many other guilds. I don't have many suggestions on keeping people actively posting, but maybe you could go on a quest of sorts for new members and invite more people.
Contests are a fun way of keeping people active. Writing, poetry, avatars, art contests, maybe a mascot design contest? Banner contest....If anyone has the time, I think a tarot shop would be lovely. I used to sell readings all the time but I can't invest much time at my computer anymore. (it's painful for me to sit in my chair for long periods of time *sad face*) I also used to write spells for specific needs, when people couldn't find one in books or online. Mantras, and chants...if you're good at these things open a shop and swap or sell your services.
Chart the moon, that would remain an active thread as the moon phases change daily. Different spells work better at certain times of the day. Maybe someone who understands this can share with us how it works. 3nodding
If anyone has an active social life and is a part of a special group outside Gaia, why not blog here and share with us your stories? I would love to see the works of Pagans in the community with photos and places where they meet and such.
The more I think about the more things I can come up with. ha ha ^^ My life is filled with so much negativity right now though, that I avoid much online conversation for fear of sounding bitchy and whiny. sweatdrop

I enjoy this guild, though I've only been a member for a day or so. But I appreciate the abundance of information and will contribute any links or videos that I find. I will also post continuously, though traffic may be slow. Should I lose interest, I'll resign. But I don't see that happening any time soon since this guild is very interesting, to say the least!
