Yo, Disney members. Red XIII has already told you I was coming and what’s going on, but I felt I should probably step in and say who I am and how this will be going down. I am going to be replacing Prince Joker (Erik) as Captain.

Okay, let’s start this off by saying that I don’t plan to come in, take control, and start changing everything. I don’t like to run things that way. I’ve always felt that the crew of any Guild is a facilitator, there to keep things in line, maintain the threads, and solve the problems that crop up from time to time. I know this is different from Erik’s more hands-on approach, but I’m sure it will work out. I like to work as a group with my crew and my Vice, so the first thing I'd like to do is work on cleaning up the members and getting an active crew.

That said, let’s get on to just who’s going to be your Captain now.

First off, I’m Nicolas Coay, or just Nic. I know “The Prince” went in for all that ‘sir’ and ‘lady’ stuff, but I’m neither a knight nor your elder, so Nic will do just fine. I’ve never been an extremely formal person, so this will be a big change from your last Captain, I know. I’ll try and make this go as smoothly as possible, but there are a lot of differences between Erik and I.

I’m not Polish, for one. I’m American, born in the great state of Alabama, and I’m about as Southern as you come. I follow football religiously, especially the Vikings and the Sport God, Brett Favre. I do live in Florida now, like Erik, but I live in the Panhandle, not Orlando. I live in a small city called Niceville, near the beach.

What’s more, Disney is actually not my hugest obsession. Gasp! My life is bent around a British TV series called Doctor Who, as my signature shows. It’s the longest running show, been around since the 60s, and it’s my life. However, I do love Disney, especially the villains, and I know my stuff, so don’t worry that my being a Whovian will overshadow my Disney mania.

I’m also brutally honest. I’m not cruel or rude, but if you ask my opinion, I’m going to give it to you straight and not cutesy it up like Erik tends to do. I’m blunt, but I’m also open. If you want to know anything about me, just ask.

To wrap this up, I’m a Republican, a Christian, and I support Sarah Palin. That’s about as deep as I get into politics or religion, so don’t worry if you disagree with all of those. I’m very open-minded and not a big debater, so this should be no problem.

Well, that’s about it. As you can see, I’m probably the most extremely different person from Erik that you could have picked as Captain. Night and day, really. I don’t spend hours on each post like Erik and I’m in no way methodical or formal, but I think this will be a nice fit. I’m not as timely as Erik, though. He tends to get on every day at a certain time on proboards, but I’m far more random. I party late and I’m out with friends daily, so I get on at rather odd hours.

Okay, I’ve introduced myself, now I’m interested to find out about you guys. So feel free to post and let me know who you are. Also, feel free to comment about me. If you don’t like the change, let me know. I realize this is a big change and I want to make this work, so let me know your concerns. Anyway, that’s about it.
