Personality: Nessy can be temperamental, hot-headed, and stubborn. She will not hesitate to shoot someone if she must, and she has been known to take swift action. Despite all of this, Nessy really does have a soft, kind, and peaceful side. She cares about everyone she meets, and will even bandage up and save the lives of those that she has shot to protect the life of herself or others, sometimes she'll go so far as to refuse to leave even an injured enemy behind. Nessy loves being outside, doing her job, tea, ambiance music, and learning something knew about the medical field, yet she detests death, having to shoot her gun, and not knowing what's going on.
Background History: Nessy always had a knack for helping others in need, ever since she was young she would bring home injured animals and fix them up, she would even bring kids home that had been hurt. Her family really never understood her fascination with helping others, or moreso with doctoring every ailing creature in the world, but they let her carry around a basic First Aid kid as a child, and tolerated her habit of wrapping up her the 'broken' legs and arms of her dolls and stuffed animals. Nessy's father was an engineer that travelled around the world to fix and inhance machinery for various different countries, when he died on an oil-rig that exploded off of the coast, the family was in dire straights when she was nine years old.
Her mother was a stay at home mother, taking care of Nessianda and her three older brothers. The family of five had never been close to their extended family so her mother decided to undertake the whole household, however working various odd jobs ranging from undercover security to maid-work, could not make up for the loss of income. Nessy's oldest brother Mick picked up a small amount of the slack by picking up a job at a local auto-shop. Her other two brothers, however, were encouraged to continue their schooling and extracurricular activities.
It really wasn't long before Nessy found out that she could run the entire household, and was frequently off on her own while her mother and Mick were working. With her other brothers off playing basketball or football, what did it really matter that little Nessy was home alone? More like running the streets, going deeper and deeper into the dangerous areas of her city. She loved the thrill of adventure, besides she found a meaning in her deviance one night that her family was out late. Nessy had unknowingly travelled into gang territory, and witnessed a shooting. Instead of being terrified and running for help, she waited until the fight died down, leaving two wounded and bleeding on the ground.
Going to them, she fixed them up, saving their lives at age 13. They invited her into their group, calling her 'Lil Sis'. The two new friends she made actually kept her out of trouble, and forced her to focus on her school work rather than run about the town when it was near-dark out. Yet "Lock" and "Jank" didn't baby 'Lil Sis' they taught her how to fight, pick locks, pick-pocket, and shoot a gun. They tested her on whatever she studied at school, and if it wasn't for them she might not have actually gotten to college by the age of 19. It was a student in medical school when the Military noticed her expertise and problem solving skills, as well as her courage and strength.
She was invited to join the Military's Medical Personnel, and did so happily. Nessy has been sending her family regular checks so that her mother hasn't had to work so hard, and she keeps in contact with Lock and Jank still.
Additional Information: Nessianda was in the Military camp when it was attacked, she was trying to get several wounded soldiers to safety, but they were attacked by several infected. Having a skill with aim, she shot a few and believed to have scared them off.... But their blood was splattered on her face, some of it getting into her eye.
