Everyone is familiar with Santa Claus and his merry ways. Living in the North Pole , having elves make toys for little girls and boys.
Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
Well, those fairy tales and such are very nice for children, but for those who know, it's much darker.
For years, the good ol' St. Nick used inside information, scandals, dirty deeds, and backwards business to get what he wanted: a fat sum of money for his beach house in Brazil.
It wasn't until about the mid 1900s that Santa Claus and his children finally got the boot. Governments from around the world united to put an end to the gold-sucking society known as the North Pole.
In June of 1962, the Claus' got their cake shoved down their throats by government action. The case, then known as the Major Clause, demanded reparations and change of character of the Claus family.
July of the following year, the North Pole disappeared from all society, but an organization known as the East Pole took over the order and redirected the North to a more sound business based on what all the story books said.
A new family, known as the New Claus family, took over, spending over three billion dollars annually for toy production, packaging, and dispersal to the entire world. Of course, there were multiple Santas to get the toys out to every house with Christmas or holiday spirit, as well as to go and pose for children at malls across the globe.
It wasn't until the past few years that the clauses have been amended changed to continue with the times. One of the new laws for the Claus family is what was simply called the Missus Clause. But, seeing as even women were now spreading gifts, it was changed to the Love Clause. This law required that each Santa have a marriage to someone of the opposite sex in order to continue the Claus family.
Every Claus agreed to the new clause and signed it. Over three hundred signatures appeared on the final document, from nearly every country on the planet. They all agreed to find a spouse within five years of the date of signing before getting "disowned" from the Claus family.
It has been four years and ten months since the signing for two Santas, and neither has a spouse. They are the only two left, and cannot marry each other. In just two months, can they find love and break the news to the significant other? Or will the news be too much and will the Claus family be forced to give the boot to two of its precious family members?

This is a literate to advanced literate roleplay. That means at least 3 paragraphs per post of five sentences each and good grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

If you have two potential spouses, you must choose, and tell the other. This may require some sort of communication between players, be it in the OoC or PMs.
