Some people cosplay, some people don't, some people set their avatars up simply based on a theme, show, anime/manga, or just a pre-existing character. So, what would you say influenced you to set your avatar up the way it currently looks? Explain/pics. :] I'm a nerd, so I kind of based my avatar around an anime-style. You know, the generic, kind of timid or sporty lead with goggles? I guess he was largely inspired by the anime Gurren Lagann and its lead character, Simon (my fav in the show). xD http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv283/arcarsenal8/post_g02.jpgMy personal touches: The scar, the muffler, and the gloves. Those are my three favorite aesthetic touches to most of my personal character designs. What was I trying to accomplish with this look? Probably nothing. I just like it. blaugh Edit: I realized the pic might stretch some people's browser's (my res is gigantic)... so I just made it a link.

well, my influence for my avatar is i wanted to make a superhero but its still quite unfinished, which in my case sucks.. : /, but i like the ref picture you gave it a good interpretation of what you are trying to make but mixed in with your own artistic talents and stuff like that. But other than that i just am getting stumped on what else i should add, i wanna put a bow on it butt im just poor at the moment only 109k : (

I like your guys' avatars. However, Kamo wins hard for Simon'dness. x.o And blue. Damn Simon. Anyways... My avatar is nothing special (at least to most people.) She's based off of my favorite original character Trystine, who... I now have a good picture of!  It's a fairly recent picture/drawing, so the anatomy isn't too bad. I dunno, I like this picture... save for the crappy camera phone quality. 3nodding Enjoy!

 Mine is pretty obvious I guess. I'm playing out my vintage fantasy, everyone I know says I was born in the wrong decade. I should have been a housewife in the 40's and 50's. I'm just an old-fashioned type of person, with values to match. 3nodding
