Name: Anne Mackenzie Belladonna
Nicknames: Bland, Her (five bux if you get the references), That Girl, Waitress
Age: 19
Birthday: June 4
Sign: Gemini
Blood Type: O
Fav. Food: Hot pockets.
Hated Food: Salad. It’s green. Gross.
School: Sovereign Heights
Occupation: Anne works as a waitress at The Rockin’ 50s Diner. It was a job that she thought she would enjoy, having a fascination with the 1950s era, but it turns out the job sucks. Although she is the only staff member who does not have to dress up as a 1950s star (the manager didn’t feel she was attractive enough to play Marilyn Monroe), she has to wear roller-skates, fake boobs and a poodle skirt. However, the pay is great and she gets to spit in people’s food.
Anne has a crush on her coworker who plays James Dean, but he’s shows zero sign of interest in her so far.
Hobbies:
Watching Classic Movies: Anne spends much of her time watching classical movies, a big fan of the classical theatrical experience. Of course, she watches her movies alone, in her bedroom and on her laptop, but the movies are still classic. Her favorite movies are comedies including Some Like it Hot, The Graduate, Airplane!, but she is a fan of other genres of film as well. She’s seen most of the AFI’s Top 100 films, and is one of those rare people who didn’t find Citizen Kane to be incredibly dull.
Fashion, Celebrities, Music, and Boys: Okay, so Anne isn’t actually interested in any of these things, but she pretends to be! She wants to be noticed by her friends and be able to have a conversation with them on these topics, so she does her best to keep informed. She can hold a pretty good conversation about any of these, and seem to be interested, but deep down, Anne couldn’t care less – she’s just glad she has someone to talk to.
Gemstone: Pearl
Virtues:
Sweet: Anne means well and all she wants is to have a nice group of friends that care about her. She doesn’t ever get involved in confrontations, raise her voice, say something mean or tell a lie. She could sugarcoat even the most brutal truths until they are so sweet they make you want to vomit. So lovely.
Excellent Listener: Do you need a shoulder to cry on? Anne is definitely the girl to turn to. She makes an excellent soundboard for you to purge your emotions to, or to ramble on to about whatever nonsense comes to your mind. And she’ll listen - and listen with interest.
Here, There, and Everywhere…: Anne seems to know everybody and everyone’s business. As a waitress at a popular diner, she overhears a lot of gossip. She’s also very outgoing and leads quite an active life and can always be seen out and about around the town, usually hanging out in cafes, bookstores, the park, clubs, or going to parties. She’s always doing something and always surrounded by people.
Flaws:
…yet Nowhere. Anne the Bland: As active of a life Anne may lead, she is invisible. She’s a total wallflower. She can be surrounded by a dozen of her best friends, and have long, deep conversations with each one of them, but by the end of the night, she will likely have been entirely forgotten. She never has anything all that interesting to say, unless she’s sharing some piece of gossip – but none of the exciting gossip ever involves her, she’s just the messenger. She’s constantly insight of excitement and surrounded by it, but never truly a part of it.
No Aspiration: Anne has no clue what the hell she wants to do with her life. She may have hobbies, but aside from classic film, none of them interest her so greatly that they lead to her any direction. When Anne dreams about her future, she sees herself as a famous actress living in the 1950s, making quality movies, but she knows this reality will never come true. She couldn’t act to save her life. After all, acting is lying, and Anne could never lie.
Pushover: If there is one thing that Anne knows she DOES want, its to be liked. All Anne ever wants is to be liked, so she rarely voices her opinion and tends to get walked all over. She can be used and manipulated by her friends really easily and never stands up to an authority. You can walk all over her and she wouldn’t make a peep. All in the name of hopefully being liked by those who surround her. Because that’s a likeable quality, right? Anne seems to think so.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Dark brown eyes.
Hair: Muddy brown hair. Shoulder length, not a very good haircut.
Face: Round face with light freckles. Straight expression. Pasty skin tone.
