THERE IS NOTHING DEFINITE IN WHAT FOLLOWS
Okay So me and another member of the closet (Said member can post if they want to be known but i didn't know if they'd want to be) have been throwing around ideas about a fashion magazine. The main idea came from this:

It is a magzine about Gaia made by Gaians. And I think we can do the same. Below It would be nice if you left quesions, ideas, thoughts, concerns, or any other things. Again this is currently jsut being thrown about and there are NO DEFINITES! Also keep in mind if this does happen its not some joke thing it will be an actual serious magzine. Please post below ^^

Ads - There will be simple pictures taken by someone of products they have used or fashions they thought were good.
Contributer page - The page where information on writers and guest writers will appear.
Fashion Do's/Dont's - Author will post one do and don't per month.
Item of the Month - One item will be picked to represent the month.
Fashion on TV - Someone well versed in Fashion on TV will write this.
Internet - Someone well versed in fashion Online will write this.
Advice Column - A columnist will pick one question per month to answer.
Color of the Month - A writer will pick a color per month to focus on
Men/Kids style - Pretty understandable
Freelance/Other - This will be left plank for a guest to write soemthing
Featured Artical- Will Have soemthing to do with the cover.
Contests/Other - Contests probebly won't start till later if we get good viewers who would want to participate.
AGAIN THIS IS ALL OUT THERE NOTHING IS SET IN STONE. THIS MAY NOT EVEN HAPPEN AND IN ALL HONESTY ITS UP TO YOU. SO HELP OUT IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE!!!!

I'd be happy to contribute to writing any of the articles, namely an indie fashion article or something. I like to wear an odd array of different styles mixed together. :] Not only that, but I am an avid online shopper, and know where to find elegant, and unique clothes and accessories online. Which, since this would be an online magazine, it only makes sense we have some articles on online, indie brands. I also believe my experience as an artist would aid me in writing a fashion article, as an artist you must know about balance, complementary colors, patterns, shades, tints and more, so see as fashion is an art as well, these principles are still present. At least that's my opinion. :]

This magazine will not be based on Gaian fashion. If we fear that copyright infringement issues can become a problem, the different styles we will feature in this magazine can be based on the designs of our Guild members.
This magazine can either be published monthly or quarterly.
This magazine can be hosted on a separate website. A copy can also be posted in the Guild forums.

We will need:
1. Editor-in-Chief
Has final say in everything. Head of the magazine. Writes the Letter from the Editor.
2. Executive editors
Assistants to the Editor-in-Chief. Help edit, proofread, and assign articles.
3. Sectional editors
Heads of different departments in the magazine, such as Style, Fashion News, Tips, etc. Help edit, proofread, and assign articles. In charge of keeping track of writing assignments in their respective departments. Must submit calendar to staff forums. Responsible for finding recruits for their respective departments. Must have experience in contemporary journalism, creative writing, and/or have a blog, etc.
4. Writers
Write articles for the sectional editors in their respective departments. Must be punctual, literate, and responsible. Must be able to edit and proofread own articles. Those with blogs will get special consideration if applying for a position.
5. Head webmaster
Publishes each issue of the magazine online. Responsible for maintaining website. Will work with the head graphic designer and team. Must have experience in Flash, HTML, web design, etc. Must have own website.
6. Assistant webmasters
Will help head webmaster. Will work with advertising & publicity staff and graphic design team. Must have experience in Flash, HTML, web design, etc., and/or have own website.
7. Head graphic designer
Responsible for creating graphics and advertisements. Will work with advertising & publicity staff. Will work with the head webmaster and team. Must have experience with graphic design, advertising, animation, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
8. Assistant graphic designers
Will help head graphic designer. Will work with advertising & publicity staff and webmaster team. Must have experience with graphic design, advertising, animation, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
9. Contributors/free-lancers/intern writers
Will submit work to sectional editors. Intern writers are asked to submit at least 2 writing samples before they can acquire a position with the magazine.
10. Head of advertising & publicity
Responsible for finding recruits for the Guild, and contributors and readers for the magazine. Will work with graphic design and webmaster team.
11. Advertising & publicity staff members
Will work with the head of the team. Responsible for finding recruits for the Guild, and contributors and readers for the magazine. Will work with graphic design and webmaster team.
12. Creative director
Will conceive and executive a look and theme for each issue. Responsible for directing spreads.

[Top designers to watch]:
Think of this competition as a chance to showcase your collection, as in a virtual fashion show. For each issue, contestants will be given a chance to submit a virtual portfolio containing designs for a couture collection.
1. Spring/Summer
2. Pre-Fall
3. Fall/Winter
4. Cruise/Resort
[Prizes]:
1. Grand Prize: The winners' collections will be featured prominently in a spread in that issue of the magazine. Gold jackpot prize. Will receive recognition.
2. Runner-Ups: The runner-ups' collections will also be featured in a spread in that issue of the magazine. Minor gold prize.
Entries to be judged by a panel of judges, including the Editor-in-Chief, the host of the contest, and the Creative Director.

I can help with anything about content - from actually writing fashion articles to editing other people's work or proofreading it. I like to think of myself as a person who can compose an article as well as knows what the fashion world is about.
I can't do anything concerning computer technology like graphics, Web hosting etc.

I'd love to write some things about alternative modeling and fashion, but I'll take anything you assign me. :]
I've had tons of writing experience; school paper, lots of thesis papers, my own stories, etc.
