((Ok guys, RP based around our characters from MegaTen. That's... pretty much it. Fights will be Chance based, with random number rolling. Waited a long time to do this. S'rock!))

The sun was was setting over post apocalyptic horizon. Two figures moved agonizingly slowly through the burning landscape, both wearing bloodstained Messian Robes. One male, one female, both the same height and age.
The male was the wounded form of the Templar Knight, Javalin Reinhardt. His right side was bleeding heavily, his white robes ripped open and stained sanguine. He was leaning heavily on the girl, in turn stained her own robes with his blood, dragging his sword in his left hand.
Javalin's head was bowed, his eyes closed and his mouth slightly open as he drew in short, ragged breaths.

"Ngh... Aidoh. I r-really hate to bring this up... b-but could we move a little faster? It's nearly moonrise..." He uttered the words without raising his head.

"We'll be fine here, the moon's rays don't have the same effect on the demons of Ichigaya.", Aidoh replied while pressing on. She wouldn't admit it to Javalin for his sake--but she was tired. All the fighting she had to do today was tiring in more so ways then just the physical. She felt she was doing well to keep going the rate they where.

"You're hurt anyway, Javalin...I can't afford to have your wounds get any worse...We hardly have a means to deal with them now that the church won't accept us any longer.", she'd state as they cleared the base of the mountian, and turned her attention further down the rocky volcanic field that was Ichigaya.

With a sharpened narrow of her eyes she'd peer ahead in attempt to scout the land before them for any demons that might give them trouble...She noted that it was strangely clear for it to be near moon rise as he stated.

"Maybe we should speed up...", she'd grumble softly to herself.

"How is Feng?"

He tried to lift his hand to check his COMP, and failed completely, sighing quietly. He shook his head very slightly, blood running down from a cut above his left eye.

"He... w-went down. I can get him fixed up once we get back to the city. Aidoh... things will be alright once we get there, right? Ngh... sorry I wasn't much use back there. b*****d's took me kinda by surprise."

He smiled faintly, a grim expression, then sighed again.

"Y'know, you really do know how to ******** things up, sis. We were fine in the church. We just lived our lives nice and quiet. Mmmh... still, you're smart. You've always been the smart one. I trust you...."

He slipped back into semi-consciousness then, his head dropping a little further.

Aidoh merely half smiled despite the pained look in her eyes," We did have good lives until now...and it will only get worse.", she'd reply thoughtfully.

"It can only get worse until our work is done...But at the very least I have my brother at my side.", she'd say while pulling him slightly over her shoulder. With this she'd attempt to swiften her steps so that she could get to the Shinjuku exit. As she pulled forward she'd draw a handgun from her robes, and she'd lock her teeth against the metal before slaming a new magazine inside of it.

"Last 30...", she'd mumble to herself through the metal of her gun before taking the handle. She'd look up toward the sky noting shadows gathering up on the tops of the rocks that jutted from the sky.

"Javalin...Hang on.", she'd mumble once more while glancing at her comp map.

"We'll be there soon."

"Glad to hear it, my feet are killing me" he tried to joke, feeling he didn't really pull it off. His eyes drifted closed again, and he leaned on her a little more, drifting out of reality.

His mind wandered, back over the events of the last few days. How things had changed, so rapidly and so drastically, in such a short space of time. He'd been fine in his life. Safe, even, serving his lord Judah. He never had to think, never had to make a choice. All he'd had to do was swing his sword, and do as he was told.

When it had come time to bring his blade down on Aidoh, he'd been unable. He didn't yet fully understand why, but he knew it was important. So he'd serve her now, until either she, or he, was dead.

He shuddered and forced his eyes open, watching her feet with dim vision. How strong she was, to keep moving under such harsh conditions. All he was doing was slowing her down. She'd have been out of here, safe, by now, if she didn't have her wounded brother with her.

Still, she kept on dragging him. He admired her greatly for it. He vowed, at that point, that once he'd healed, he'd pay her back with his life. He'd protect her, from any evil, any threat, anything, as long as he drew breath. That point set so deep in his mind, he was pretty sure it would never leave.

A figure emerged stealthily from the shadows. It was not upon a certain renegade Hurricane Blade and his rebellious sister, but instead upon a clearing of dead bodies. The figure was hardly visible, as the pale moonlight was blocked by a dense cloud. Beside him also was a shrouded, dog-like figure. Upon seeing the bodies, the dog growled.

The human figure chuckled. His tone was masculine. "Well...well. I'm surprised the demons haven't gobbled up this lead by now."

The light of his COMP was turned to high at the press of a button, and he he scanned the field. There were several pools of blood, all but one surrounding an Arcadian corpse. They seemed to have been members of some Special Ops unit. The figure spat upon the nearest body. "You idiots were outclassed from the beginning. You should have known better than anyone that--"

The dog creature let out a short bark, its face tilted toward a specific place on the dirt. The human took it as a signal and moved to it, shining his light there. It was another pool of blood-- no, a trail of blood. It led in the direction of Ichigaya.

"Hah-- even an ambush and at least one of them made it out alive. My bets are on the both of 'em. Let's go, Shii."

"Wroof!"

They dashed back into the shadows as the pale moonlight returned to illuminate the bullet-filled bodies.

By then they were finally approaching the gate to Shinjuku babel. She had of course slowed down due to what appeared to be a squad of templar present and waiting at the gate for the special opts to return. It seemed Judah had assumed that perhaps things may not go well.

Sighing heavily she'd lower her brother down behind a rock so that they'd both be easily hidden. She didn't even give him time to respond afterwards---She'd quickly start tossing dirt at his clothing to kill off the glowing white of his robes that weren't stained with crimson. With this she'd also begin removing her own blue robes--leaving only her black under clothes. After they both were positively filthy with the red of the earth she'd look upward toward the forces.

She'd move her hand for her comp and pressed a button that would allow her gun to disappear as if only manifested by data--and allow her rifle to appear in it's steed. She'd check it carefully with a trained eye---and pulled a silencer from her robe to screw on the end.

She then paused...and quickly started unscrewing it as if realizing a possibility.

"I'm going to try and trick them into thinking I'm alone...Power'll stay with you until I have them all rounded up in one spot."

He sat there, his back propped up against the rock. His head was bowed, and his hair, stained slightly red in some places, hung over his sweat coated brow. He drew in long, ragged breaths, and when he heard her plan, he moved as though to get up, only to cringe and slump back down again.

"No way are you facing them alone... I'll be fine, just give me a moment and I'll help you take them."

His hand moved to the handle of his sword, which was resting on the ground beside him. His fingers closed slowly around the metal, but he couldn't force his hand to grip it tight. Swearing under his breath, he raised his head painful to look at his sister through tired, sad eyes.

"This is so ******** up..." he'd murmur softly. "what the ******** makes us so damned bad, huh?"

He tried again to grip the blade, with little success. His head slumped down again, and he let out a long sigh, slipping once again out of consciousness.

Aidoh gently shoved him back down against the rock and looked in his eyes. There was something desperate about the way she looked at him---A silent plea.

"If I lose you now I'll be alone, Javalin." She'd state simply before getting up slowly with her gun and looking down at him. "Don't worry...I have the advantage. I've found their weak point."

She'd then rush off into the shadows with one last glance at her brother before looking straight ahead. She saw the perfect place to take aim and lead.

------------------

Several men in white looked around silently with their demons behind them and keeping track of higher ground. The humans would make certain that they paid close attention to any movements...

"They're taking too long..." One would start before glancing at another knight. "Y'think they've been taken down?" He'd ask curiously. The other two glanced at each other before suddenly a resounding POP broke through the silence....Instantly one of the five would fall over grasping his sword arm which appeared to have been nastily grazed in such a way that the cut from the bullet left a gash..and the burn of the scrape had caused the surrounding veins to hemorrhage under the skin.

In the chaos a single Templar looked up to see where the shot came from with a quick rush of a flash light. Aidoh could be seen raising from her perch and quickly moving to dive out of the light. One of the demons instantly responded with an Agidyne that would blast into the side of the rocky walls Aidoh had stood beside.

Aidoh quickly rolled forward to avoid the debris and fired off yet another shot the moment she saw an opening on the demon. What appeared to be a Dis instantly took a shot right to the neck that caused blood to spray behind it before sending it's body tumbling backwards against the group.

It was then demons started charging projectile magic, and templars started rushing toward the direction of Aidoh as a group.

Aidoh of course smirked in the darkness and quickly slipped into it while causing her rifle to take on the form of her cross shotgun.

He heard her words, although quietly, as if far away, and attempted to focus his eyes on her. However, she was gone before he could. His eyes fell closed again, and his head fell back down. He sat there, bleeding, tired, and desperately struggling in a losing battle with his own, wrecked body.

----------------------------------------------------------------

One of the Templar drew his plasma sword, and glared up at the shadows the girl had lunged into. His eyes scanned the area, narrow and angry, as his fingers gripped his blade tight.

"Come on, you b***h... show us where you are. Just... make... you're... move." he'd mutter under his breath, and it would almost sound like a growl.

He flicked a switch on his plasma sword, activating it, and electrical energy flooded up the blade, crackling in the dim light.

"Just... try it..."

The light of the blade would be his undoing. Taking in a new spot in the darkness of the rocks across from where the templar's rushed. She'd prepare her rifle again..and aimed carefully.

Before she had been found by her brother she had of course performed recon over the whole area---adding any small detail to her map that would allow her good places for sniping positions. Details such as shortcut ways to get to each place---and cover that would allow her to use landmarks in the darkness.

This time she had her silencer screwed on...

She'd aim directly for his comp this time...She had to get rid of these demons.

With one handgun waiting in her free hand she'd hold the rifle with her shoulder and the rock in front of her. She knew with a loose shot like this she had a high chance of missing...But she trained for moments like these...

BANG!
PostPosted: Wed Apr 21, 2010 12:48 am

The Templar flinched and rolled to the side as the device on his arm shattered. He look to his demon, wide-eyed with rage as it flickered and faded away. His eyes jerked back to the spot the girl was hiding in.

"A cheap trick, you b***h!" he yelled, before turning his anger on his men, "Well?! Get the ******** up there and kill the traitor!"

The rest of the knights looked at each other for a moment, then judged their captain's wrath to be greater than that of one woman. So they rushed forward, converging on her location, their divine demons working with them in an attempt to flank her, as the captain glared always at the shadows he knew she was hiding in.

Seeing that all attention was taken souly for herself she smiled to herself and pulled her gun upwards while leaning back slightly. She'd draw up her pistol with a playful flip and aimed straight ahead---Not as if she where about to defend her position...but as if she where providing...

Cover fire?

It was then they'd notice something strange about the darkness around them---those templars. It was as if somehow the blackness of the world around them had only become thicker. Dim glowing green eyes would pierce it directly behind the commanding templar with his glowing blade...before a twirling movement that would cause the black feathers of Power to cut through the air before he would complete his spin and send the point of his spear rushing for the back of the unsuspecting templar.

If the attack connected the templar would be launched forward by the amazing impact force that would also tear into his back with a combination of blunt and piercing force. Soon after a strange energy would over come the templar if he was still somehow able to move after such a blow that would cause his entire nerve center to ignore his brain's every command.

It was about then that the world would light up at the horrible sight of Power preparing an almighty megido attack. Hopefully before the templar could respond with anything aside from their demons he'd be able to fire it off and send them all reeling backwards with the energy writhing through every fiber of their bone.

From then on Aidoh would either be picking demons off by destroying their comps with great accuracy as each templar flew...Or taking potshots off of any that happened to be close to her position and found themselves distracted by Power's sudden appearance.

"Good thing there aren't more then ten of you...Arcadia couldn't handle too much more embarrassment."
PostPosted: Fri Apr 23, 2010 5:17 am

The Templar Captain's eyes widened as the first of the attacks hit him perfectly. He staggered back, and was then completely decimated by the follow ups. His men were in a complete state of disorder, unable to get a definite lock on either the girl, or her terrifying demon.

---------------------------------------------

The massacre was lost on Javalin, who was still propped up against the rock, his head bowed and his mind clouded. He could hear it, somewhere in the back of his mind, and knew that somehow, it was important, and he should care. What he couldn't quite grasp, as why.

Someone was out there, and they... they... she was fighting for the both of them. His fingers twitched, and closed around the handle of his massive sword. He forced his head back, and gritted his teeth as his eyes fluttered open. Arching his back, he growled in pain, before slowly raising up his sword.

"Alright Javalin. Pull your ******** weight..." he thought to himself.

After taking a moment to gather his thoughts as best he could, he thrust the sword down with all of his force, stabbing it into the ground. After that, he painfully raised his left hand up, and gripped the hand-guard of the weapon, using it to force himself to his feet.

Javalin stood in place for a moment, hunched over the Claymore, breathing slowly through slightly parted lips. A low groan of pain escaped him, as he slowly, agonizingly slowly, drew the blade from the ground. Unable to truly lift it, he simply dragged it, and his feet, as he staggered towards the battle, following the screams and gunshots.

When he reached the fight, he attempted, without much success, to figure out friend from foe. Eventually, from the back of his mind, he drew forth the memory that people in white robes were his enemy now. As soon as that thought hit him, something else in his mind hit him even harder, so hard he let out a soft cry of pain. It was as though someone was drilling into his mind a counter-thought, like a fail safe. Thoughts of aiding the white robed fighters flooded his head.

"Ngh..." the only sound he could muster, as he gripped his head in his free hand.

It was at that point that one of the Templar noticed him.

"There! The other target!" the man would yell, before rushing at Javalin, plasma sword raised to strike.
