This is how it works. After I make the story segement I will put a voting option at the bottem and top of the page. You guys will vote on which option you want to do, and whichever option has the most votes will be the direction I take the story in. Here we go!
Also, this is going to be a short one, but as the story goes on they will be getting long so bare with me.

In a quiet little village stuck between a looming mountain range, you begin your day with some chores assigned to you by your father. He wants you to pile some hay together so that the cows can be fed, wrangle up the chickens for a meal tonight, and pump water to be used for the bath. However, you think to yourself that you dont have time to do all of this chores before the day is done, so you resolve to do at least two of them. Of course, when the town had its annual festival last week you managed to purchase some rather interesting books. Maybe it would be better to snuff the chores and hide in your room where you can read in peace. The book vendor said that they books might be magical in nature.....

Do chores? Why would you ever want to do that when their is a book with magic in it?! you thought to yourself as you walk to your room. Closing the door behind you silently, you crawled under your bed to grab the book.
It was red, with a title in a strange language. The old man who sold it to you said it was in the language of pixies, but you huffed at that. After all, pixies are too small to write such cursive letters. Breaking the bindings, you turn to the first page to see more cursive words. At first it doesnt make sense, but as you read more and more the words start to make sense. You read about spells for casting fire, summoning lighting, walking on water, floating in mid air. You absorb more and more details, until you get to a section with the symbol of an hourglass. It looked like a seal of some sort, and your hand reaches to touch it.
All of the sudden there is a noise down the hall. Its your dad! He had been outside and wondering where the heck you went too. Figuring you might still be in the house, he came storming in looking for you. Your eyes dart from the door to the book, wondering what to do.

A) Quick! Hide the book back under the bed and pretend to be still getting dressed!
B) Wait! Maybe the seal does something to get you out of this situation! Touch it!
C) Leap into the bed and pretend you were just getting up!
