There is a mysterious occurance in Pheonix. People are dying and dropping like flies. This isn't just heat stroke. These people are dying from internal combustion.
Mission: catch or kill this new killer
characters: Police, detective, killer, reporter, civilian, shinigami (Reaper), or political leader (I know no one will choose it but it was the only thing left out)
{you can use the same character just specify job as you post please}
Rules:
1.) No god mode (that simply annoys me. Only overbearing logic)
2.) No Sex ( There can be a sex crime but I don't want to hear details)
3.) ask permission to kill characters (death is such an inconvenience.)
4.) Swearing should be limited (I'd prefer none but a slip won't hurt)
5.) Please don't stretch reality too bad. (logic is key to investigation.)

I think we should make new Characters. New state new people. Some of our other characters could be mentioned. Sound good? Same time different state?

That's a good idea. I suggest we move all ACTUAL Rp's into subforums. We'll leave the current one where it is but maybe for our next cases, the subforum should be all the locations. My only concern is trying to keep the story going. If we do the same story in two locations, there might be diversions and plot holes that screw the other one. timing is also crucial.

I'm not refering to time as in time frame. I'm refering to chronologic scale.
For example:
In LAS VEGAS: the players participating are frequent posters who go to three months from the start.
In NEW YORK: People of the Same investigation aren't active and are weeks behind.
the problem is that when people cross from one area to the next in the same investigation it might cause confusion. A possible solution is that two areas post twice. but that causes a few problems as well. It's just some food for thought.

I think it's a pretty good idea. A change in scenery would be nice. Like tracking the criminal to make it more realistic!
Although, it's true that moving forums does cause confusion...
- Perhaps when moving, put at the bottom of the old forum 'Moved investigation to.....forum; track the criminal!' ^-^
- Or maybe make announcements of when it changes location.
I don't think that's too confusing. Hope I helped a little.

names zack and i've heard of repeated occurences that people in phonix arizona are enternally combusting i work for the FBI and to start off I'll need all the files of the victims death time of death, and background history.
