[Introduction]

In A.D 265, The Three Kingdoms of China came to an end under the rule of Sima Yan. Sima Yan thought his rule was safe, but each of the Kingdoms had children hidden safely away. The Kingdom of Wu, founded by Sun Quan, had two children, a son and a daughter. The Kingdom of Shu, founded by Liu Bei, had hidden away a daughter. While the Kingdom of Wei, founded by Cao Cao, had a son tucked away as well. The children knew not of the others existance, but each wanted Sima Yan's head for the death of their father and the fall of their respective kingdoms. When fate brings them face-to-face, will they fall in love? Or, like their fathers before them, spill blood for complete domination? Five years have passed since Sima Yan's overture and the cards are now in play...

[End of the Three Kingdoms]

Jiang Wei carried on Zhuge Liang’s campaign against Wei for a bitter three decades. However, Liu Bei’s son Liu Shan did not heed Jiang Wei’s advice and listened to the evil eunuch Huang Hao instead. In order to escape from the rival officials in the court, Jiang Wei decided to resign from his military title for the time being and went off to a fertile land of Tazhong. The Wei general Deng Ai, who was at war with Jiang Wei, took the chance to attack Shu Han. Deng Ai and his troops arrived in front of Chengdu, the capital city of Shu-Han, by taking a shortcut. Liu Shan surrendered without a battle and ended the Kingdom of Shu-Han. Jiang Wei planned to rebuild Shu-Han by uniting forces with a Wei general, Zhong Hui, who was at odds with Deng Ai. However, he was not able to see it to the end when his heartache grew intolerable in the midst of the final battle. Seeing the rebellion has failed, he then killed himself with a sword, marking the last stand of Shu.

In Eastern Wu, there was internal conflict among the nobles ever since the death of Sun Quan. Zhuge Ke tried to usurp the throne of Eastern Wu but was assassinated by Sun Lin. Later, Sun Lin himself also lusted for power and had the emperor of Eastern Wu Sun Liang deposed and replaced with Sun Xiu. Sun Xiu sought help from the old veteran general Ding Feng and had Sun Lin assassinated, and the power of Eastern Wu went back into the hands of the emperor. This did not last for long.

In Wei, Sima Yan, son of Sima Zhao, finally forced the last Wei emperor Cao Huan to abdicate in the same manner as Cao Pi had forced Emperor Xian of Han to abdicate. Sima Yan established the Jin Dynasty in AD 265, declaring himself the first emperor of the new dynasty. The Kingdom of Wei came to an end.

Sima Yan ordered the Jin troops to attack Eastern Wu from the former land of Shu-Han and succeeded in conquering Eastern Wu after a long period of struggle when the last tyrannical emperor of Eastern Wu, Sun Hao surrendered. Thus the Three Kingdoms period concluded after almost a century of civil strife.

[Rules]

1: No God-Modding, Power Playing, Auto-Hitting, etc. I can't tell you how many times I have had to close down threads because of people like this.
2. No Cybering! Come on it's a given that their will be romance, but at least time skip. Either that, or keep to PM's. I am not encouraging it to go to PM's though because it is against Gaia's ToS anyway.
3. Please Be Lit-Semi Lit. This means at least ONE good paragraph. This means 5-6 sentences MINIMUM. Writer's block does occur and I can sympathize with you. But please don't make it a habit. Give the person you are RPing with something good to work with.
4. I am God! What I say goes!

5. PM all profiles to me! Title them "The Heir" if you want to be one of the main characters and "For My Lord" if you want a sub character of your own.
6. I will add more when I see fit.

[Scaled Down]

This is where I will simplify the story. Basically, there are 4 main forces in this RP. Wei, Wu, Shu, and Sima Yan's forces. The 3 Kingdoms of Wei, Wu, and Shu are the designated 'good' guys while Sima Yan is the designated 'bad' guy. The goal is the death of Sima Yan. The Children and their loyal troops can either work together or fight each other as well. The choice is up to us as we progress. I hope this makes things a little more clear. ^_^

He is strong in battle as he is graceful, Zhao Rei holds the same elegance and leadership his father had. When his father died his mother took him away from the Shu kingdom in fear for his life but the art of battle called to him as it did his father. Sun Jiang slowly trudged through the plains of Hung Lao. The scars from a battle long ago could still be witnessed. "Father fought here when he was younger." He said aloud and bent down picking up the dirt in his hand. He rubbed his hands together as the dirt slumped to the ground. "It's hard to believe it's been five years father. I have now come of age and I shall keep my oath to you. I vow to take Sima Yan's head and hold it in my hands. I will reclaim our honor and rebuild our family. I promise this to you, father." He spoke towards the sky, tears filling up in his eyes. He wiped his tears on the sleeve of his shirt and sighed. "A good cry never hurts every once in awhile." He spoke and looked back at the son of Zhou Tai, Zhou Quan. "What do you think of all this, Zhou Quan?" He turned around asking his guard.

"That is true, my lord. Tears are said to hold one back should they be held in for too long. But your father, my lord, he was a valiant man. He fought bravely here on this field beside many a fine general." Zhou Quan replied and bowed his head, humbled to be at a place of such importance. "It was said that your Grandfather, Sun Jian, fought here to end the cruelty of Dong Zhou. He had taken Emperor Xian and Prince Cheling under his wing and used them like pawns. Your father and many others, under the leadership of Yuan Shao, fought here. They did not slay him, but forced him to retreat where he was later slain by his adoptive son, Lu Bu."

"I know, Zhou Quan. My father has told me the story many times over. But thank you, I have not heard the story since his passing. It actually makes me smile." Sun Jiang answered and slowly sat on the ground, leg criss-crossed. Zhou Quan sat in front of him, a smile plastered on his face. "Zhou Quan. I am told your father fought valiantly along side my father as well. Sons of great warriors converseing together. My sister, though she abhors violence, inherited our father's ferocity, same as me. Speaking of which. I left her in the care of many of our finest soldriers. I would have sent you as well, but she wouldn't have it." He told him and the clouds overhead grew dark and malevolent. The thunder roared overhead signaling the approaching storm. "We shall stay til it rains, then we will leave." He told Zhou Quan who only nodded and smiled.

Just outside of Guan Du, gray clouds rolled over the skies, and with a light chorus of thunder, the rain began falling lightly on the citizens below. While the city was large, and provided enough entertainment to keep the few men with her occupied, Lui Mai found it hard to enjoy herself anymore. Her mothers death had been hard enough on her, her father following soon after was just a blow she refused to recover from. Since then her vow to bring down that pig Sima Yan had been all she could focus on. They had to gain supporters, build their army, take down that tyrant before the count of children without fathers could increase more than it already did.

Smiling, her face was lifted towards the heavens, enjoying the cool water on her face, enjoying the refreshing wake up before returning to the small campfire she had going. For now, she was on her own, her idea being that because Sima Yan was unaware of her existence, it should be easier to get close to him, even if it meant going it alone, she could pass as a body for sale, knowing even he had to endure in the sins of the flesh every now and again. The plan was only half thought through for the moment, she had to continue to wander through cities, listen to the whispers of his locations, get to know each city he could possibly travel to and make sure if needed, she could easily slip in and blend in the with other females selling themselves.

Pulling a small bag over to her side, she pulled out a sharpening stone, and the halberd laying next to her, pulling it out of it’s sheath before she began sharpening the blade. It had been a while since she’d needed to use it against another human being, but in this day and age, it was always best to be prepared for the worst.

As the rain began to poor down, Sun Jiang slowly rose to his feet and looked at Zhou Quan. He nodded slowly and smiled a bit as he jumped up on his horse and then laid down on the back of it, letting the rain land softly on his face and trickle down his cheeks. "To Guan Du, Zhou Quan. Perhaps I can find more loyal troops." He ordered and gave his horse a gentle pat as it started galloping towards Guan Du. Sun Jiang fell asleep during the long ride and was only awoken by the raging thunder. He slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes as he looked around the outskirts of Guan Du. He noticed a young beautiful women sitting outside in the rain. Hmm. Peculiar. He thought to himself and nudged his horse toward Lui Mai. He jumped down off his horse and took his jacket off walking over towards her. He held his jacket over top of her head, stopping the rain from pouring down on her. "Miss, do you need a place to stay tonight?" He asked softly and looked at Zhou and urged him to continue on.

Zhou Quan nodded his head and urged his own horse forward as well. He watched Sun Jiang as he fell asleep and chuckled softly. "My lord, you are most like your father. More than you know." He whispered softly and remained quiet until they neared the outskirts of Guan Du. He noticed the young woman as well and went to warn Sun Jiang about going off but it was too late. He got that look from Sun Jiang and nodded, making his way into the city to secure their lodgings for the next few nights. As he neared a nice looking inn, he walked inside after stableing his horse and paid for three rooms, just in case. He then went back outside and stood near the entrance to wait for his lord.

At the sound of approaching men, she instantly stilled her actions. Placing the stone back in her bag, and when the sound of hooves was replaced by shoes crunching on the damn ground, she did her best not to simply attack whoever was approaching her. Turning to glance at the stranger, she was a bit surprised when he held his jacket over her, not only that he offered her a place to stay. Being a women really would make it easy for her to get past anyone’s defenses, not just being a women, but a beautiful one. She was more than aware that she’d been graced with good looks, more than once being told so by complete strangers, it had helped her get her way on multiple occasions.

Standing, careful not to hit her head on the jacket, she offered a warm smile. “A place to stay would probably be more comfortable than sleeping out here in this weather.” Even though she hadn’t planned on sleeping out here, she always enjoyed meeting strangers, they always carried rumors that would help her gain an advantage in her quest.

Walking out from under the jacket, she slid her weapon back in it’s sheath and placed it behind her back, carefully pulling the strap across her chest and buckling it in place. While her one bag only held a few essentials, the majority of it was money to spend in towns, and everything she bought, she sold before she left, never carrying more than what she truly needed on the road.

She gave a small bow, “I go by Lui, if I could be honored with the name of the gracious man offering me hospitality?” Rehearsed, said more times than she could count, and every word laced with the rich seduction women could offer, a tone that said you could trust her, you could offer your hand and not get it bitten off. However that tone was nothing more than that, a rehearsed trick to make sure she never lead anyone to think she was a real warrior. Despite the act, even she couldn’t deny that the man before her was one of the best looking ones she’d seen in a long while. It would make it a real shame if he ended up being someone she had to use, another heart she had to break…or cut out depending on the circumstances.

Sun Jiang smiled a bit at Lui Mai and nodded his head slowly. She was indeed beautiful and her voice sweet. But, Sun Jiang had more important matters to attend to then women. When she stood up and took Sun Jiang up on his offer he nodded softly and smiled a bit more. "Good. No one should need to sleep outside in this weather after all." He said softly not at all impressed with her attempts to swoon him, whether be it accidental or on purpose. He took note of the large halberd on her back and frowned a bit. I have seen this weapon before...but where...? He thought to himself as he slowly grabbed the reigns of his horse and looked back back at Lui Mai.

"You may call me Jiang if it please you." He said and gave her a slight bow in return before leading his horse into Guan Du. He didn't look back to see if she followed him or not. It really was her choice to stay so if she didn't follow it wasn't a disappointed to him. He had given hospitality so he had done all he could at that point. "So, why would one so young and beautiful be traveling alone?" He asked outloud even though he wasn't sure if she was there or not. It did seem a little strange to him that she was traveling alone.

As they walked he still waited for a possible answer and noticed Zhou Quan standing outside a respectable looking inn. A great eye as always old friend. He thought to himself and smiled as he tied his horse up next to Zhou's horse and bowed to him. "Excellent choice as always my friend." He said and gave his shoulder a light squeeze before turning around to see if Lui Mai was still with him.

Zhou Quan looked up when he heard approaching footsteps and noticed Sun Jiang. He let out a sigh of relief knowing his lord was safe. He bowed his head in return and smiled a bit. "Good to have you back my lord." He said softly when Sun Jiang gave his shoulder a slight squeeze and exhaled slowly.

[[I am going to kill Zhou Quan off soon, this is annoying. xD]]

“It is a pleasure to share your company Jiang.” He spoke like a warrior, one who truly didn’t spend much time with the smaller pleasures in life, and was always focused on the task at hand. Yet he’d taken the time to offer a stranger a place to stay, whether that was kindness for a stranger or her own appearance, she’d probably never know, but she felt like over all his intentions had been nothing but generosity. Which told her that he was a soldier down to the core, and if he ended up being a friend of Sima Yan, she’d have to try much harder than normal to earn his trust and gain whatever information he possessed.

Bringing her attention to him at his question, she looked at the ground at first, as if slightly embarrassed by her answer, but finally brought her eyes back up to his with a small smile. “Anyone I trusted to travel with, has been gone a long time. So I find it easier to just travel alone, sadly it’s not a day where many are kind, or even trustworthy. My father passed away many years ago, and I have no brothers, so I’m the only one left with the task of deciding where to go.” Truth, probably the only time she’d ever been honest when encountering a stranger, but if she was correct in her assumptions, he would’ve been able to tell if she made something up.

Giving a small bow as the met up with his friend, she did nothing more since she knew many found it out of place if she spoke before being addressed. After her greeting she turned to Jiang, “If I might ask in return, what has you and your companion traveling with so few companions?” He hadn’t mentioned being a soldier, so she didn’t want to slip up and ask why he didn’t have any men with him, Sima Yan was the only one allowed to have an army, and if anyone thought she knew of anyone else with one, they’d have her locked up before she could accomplish anything of her task.

Sun Jiang listened intently to her story, picking up on her voice as well. When trained well enough, one could pick up lies from a person's voice due to fluctuations and the tightening one one's vocal chords when nervous. He could pick out no fluctuations at the moment so she must be telling the truth, for now anyways. "The pleasure is mine, Lui." He said and waved Zhou Quan off, who then made his way inside. He turned to take anothe look at Lui and slowly walked around her in a circle, looking her up and down. Hmm...something seems..off... He thought to himself but couldn't put his finger on it as he came to a stop in front of her once more.

He noticed her look at the ground for second before meeting his eyes once more and answering his question. At her words, he bowed his head slightly. "My deepest apologies on the loss of your father. I have a sister, though I left her the care of my few most trusted men. She knows how to fight, but she dislikes shedding blood. As for my father, he was killed a few years back. My mother, took her own life afterwards." He said before he could catch himself and hit himself internally. Sun-Jiang what the hell? Your spilling your guts to a complete stranger, and one who might be Sima-Yan's pawn. He thought to himself and was dragged from his thoughts by her question.

"Ah, I was searching for a rumour to lead me to my father's killer. I thought it best to travel with fewer men to avoid detection. I can fight, and do not care to spill blood if need be so as I said, that is why I left most of my men with my dear sister. Zhou Quan here and my sister, would not have me travel alone. Though, I am going to dismiss him really soon to return to my sister. He can not refuse my order and my sister will not know until it is too late. So, I will be able to go places alone I could not with him. But, please, perhaps we should talk more inside." He said and at these words, it started to pour down even harder. He grabbed Lui's hand without thinking and quickly led her inside out of the rain. He was used to holding his sister's hand so when they got inside, he did not release her hand out of instinct. He ran his free hand backwards through his hair throwing a little water here and there.

Even she was able to tell he was being honest with her, mostly because the look on her face told her that he was having a hard time figuring out why he’d given her so much detail about his family. As the rain began to pour, she began answering him, but found herself at a loss for words when his hands was on hers. At first she almost pulled away and drew her weapon, not use to being touched unless it was in combat, but she managed to control herself and allowed him to lead her inside.

When he didn’t instantly let go, she found herself unsure of what she was suppose to do. It was odd that she could handle anything thrown at her, except apparently human contact that wasn’t violent. After a few moments of silence, she carefully slid her hand out of his, unable to keep herself from rubbing it as her eyes glanced from him, to the floor, back to him, then finally locking on the floor as she rubbed the hand he’d held. It hadn’t hurt or bothered her, but she just wasn’t used to it.

“I hope you accomplish you mission then, I know what it feels like to have your father killed. Mine was killed as well a few years ago, I’m not sure what happened with my mother. I was too young to remember it, and my farther refused to speak of it to me. If I can be any help to you at all, please don’t hesitate to ask. It’s the least I can do after you offer such generous hospitality.” Even though her words made it seem like she wasn’t overly curious, she couldn’t help but wonder who had killed his father, who he was building an army against. Before she could stop herself, since he’d said they would talk more inside, she found her mouth moving before she could think on it. “Have you learned the name of your fathers killer? Or is that the rumor your hoping to discover here?”

The name of her fathers killer was one she would never forget. One that made her blood boil just by hearing it. It was no doubt in her mind that he had taken many fathers away from loyal children, and if this man was after him, they were allies in a sense. They would both want him dead, or at least she did, and if this man thought he would be the one to bring the horrible creature to it’s end, he was wrong. No one would take that kill away from her.
