OoOoOoO! I know so much about WWII that it's bleeding through my nose! Heck, just as I type this message i'm supposed to be finishing a WWII research essay that was supposed to be e-mailed to my history teacher an hour ago! =D

Depends on the type.

If it were based on fact from the war, you'd have to do a lot of research on both ends.

If it's a fictional battle, then it'd make it easier, but there would have to be agreement on the victor.
A minor understanding of weaponry from the era would be necessary, as well as tactics of the commanding generals.

It'd be hard, but I'd join.

Sounds really fun, and I would love to be a Nazi too. I've never done a role play like that before, but hey. Here's to new things.
I would definitely join, but I agreed with Willowed. We'd need a large OOC thread for this, to discuss all the battles, if they were fictional. It may take a very long time to organize completely, but I hope it works. (:
